We loved it all. Burger was outstanding. Onion rings are giant & good. Delightful server. Will definitely go back.
We were there for lunch and the lunch combo was perfect and absolutely delicious. Since we were going to the theatre right after lunch, Laura did an excellent job of serving us quickly.
Had a noon reservation on a Sunday. Upon arrival, we were told by the hostess that we would still have to wait a half an hour for food service because they had a lot of RESERVATIONS at once. (!) We were seated in a very noisy room right off the entrance to the restaurant. Considered walking out. The waitress did take drink orders and our food order right away and was very attentive, so the original caution about the wait seemed unwarranted. The food was good. The ambiance was unpleasant - loud and odd. We seemed to be in a subsection of the restaurant and seated very close together to other guests. Would not dine there again.
The good was really good. It had a great feel and it is a really nice restaurant. Our waiter was a little slow and he spilled coffee on the table every time he refilled a cup.
Food & ambiance were good. Food took a very long time (30 minutes). Service was fine at best. Slow to get drink refills and never checked back after delivering our food. It’s good for pre-theater at the Fox, but otherwise no reason to go.
Birthday celebration before the theatre we were in and out in 90 minutes
Food was not as good as it used to be. Our waitress couldn’t answer questions about the menu. Will not go back.
This is a great place to grab dinner before a show at The Fox.
Went pre-show at the Fox. Our server was hustling but not pushy. She realized most people were in a rush for the show and she did a great job of being attentive. We ate quickly, but were in and out in about an hour.
Veggie burger and noodle bowl were both really good and it was all reasonably priced. We'll be back!
As always, the food and service was excellent. Britney took great care of us. We have been here several times and have not yet found anything that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy.
We went there before the Fox show. Our waitress was excellent(Marti). She made sure we had our orders perfectly timed. Great food, also!!
The only reason this place did not get a 5 star overall is because of its lack of parking. We happen to go on a night the Fox was playing so it was especially crowded.
Awesome flash fried spinach, fish tacos to die for, ambience way cool, great service. Definitely going back.So glad I used Open Table, it was packed.
Triumph was a wonderful experience. We had incredible food and our waitress was smiles, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was awesome, roomy and cozy. Will be going back soon!
Good location. Easy access off of Olive Blvd. Just a 5 minute walk from The Grand Theater District so it's a popular choice for theatergoers.
As a motorcycle fan, I enjoyed the vitage motorcycle decor. And it didn't hurt that you could buy a Ducati at the co-located Moto Europa motorcycle dealership.
The Creole Shrimp Penne was very good with plenty of andouille sausage and a decent amount of shrimp. It was not overly spicy and the ingredient-melded sauce was quite tasty on bread. The shrimp was our favorite compared to the Chicken Saltimbocca which had a generous portion of neutral flavored, lumpy, mashed potatoes (potato puree) aside the average tasting chicken which wasn't "prosciutto, spinach, and mozzarella stuffed chicken" as the menu states, but more like those ingredients layered to achieve the same effect.
All in all, it is definitely worth revisiting.
We had tickets to the Fox and wanted to eat nearby so we chose the Triumph Grill. Our waitress was very good and asked us if we were going to the theater so she could get our order in quickly. We all had the turkey sandwich and it was very good. Large enough we could have split one sandwich along with the sweet potato fries between two people. We will go back to this restaurant again.
The hamburgers were excellent. We preferred the plain french fries over the sweet potato fries. Waitress was great but food was a little slow to come out of the kitchen. If you are eating there before an event, such as at the nearby Fox Theatre, plan a little extra time.
Quality of food is always above par here. I was expecting delays due to Hamilton at the Fox but establishment wasn’t over crowded. Pretzel bites is our favorite app - order every time here - the best in St Louis. Companion always orders Thai salad w/ chicken and loves it. I venture around the menu and continue to find new dishes I enjoy but can’t go wrong with creole penne pasta or burger.
Triumph Grill may be one of the best restaurants in Grand Center. It is perfect for dinner before the theater. Our server Taylor was great!
Everything was very good, food and service.
We went to Triumph Grill for the Easter Brunch buffet. Have previously dined at the restaurant for breakfast and food was hot and delicious. However, the brunch buffet had many options, but food was not replenished. Many of the brunch items were not heated properly and the food was cold. We had a a 1 o clock reservation. The brunch ended at 2. If food was not going to be replenished during that last hour, reservations should not have been accepted. For a $35 cost per person, I had better expectations.
Buffet not brunch menu as described on their website, so more expensive than originally planned but ok. Nice buffet and good food. Didn't like the automatic 20% tip for my family of 6 for buffet service. The waiter was fine, but not great and not super attentive so 10% would have been more fair.
Easter Brunch offered a lot of choices. The smoked trout, fresh fruit, and blueberry french toast were favorites at our table. The drink menu was terrific. Every dessert was also yummy.
Very good food and the server did a great job!
Pork schnitzel was absolutely aweful which made the dinnet rough. Veal meatballs and soup were above average. So so food overall, plus very noisy atmosphere even though it was relatively uncrowded.
One of my long term favorite spots especially before The Fox. I've always loved their risotto, so was apprehensive when the only option included duck, but went for it anyway. Should have gone with the salmon with pineapple sticky rice as my two friends said it was awesome. To Steve's credit, he told me the duck was served medium rare "like a steak"...I didn't ponder that long enough - not a fan. Still a great time hosting my soon to be daughter in law and her sister & mom from Chicago. I think Triumph shows off St Louis well. Will be back hopefully soon!
Brittany V was a huge part of our dining experience, she made great suggestions, was prompt, and informative. The hostess on duty that day was very accommodating too. Food was great and we had a wonderful time!
Service and food was great.
Extremely fast service - wow! Our waitress was courteous, professional, attentive, and oh so fast! She really knew what she was doing. Before I needed to ask for anything, she was there offering it already. I've been all over the country and this is some of the best service anywhere. Seems most places have forgotten what Triumph Grill has mastered - great, quick service.
Taylor was an excellent server
Great food. Fast lunch service. Friendly staff.
Food was just as good as usual and our server was nice and polite and attentive.
Delicious food, beet salad with grilled chicken in particular. Busy and noisy when we were there, not in a bad way but not necessarily great for a business or romantic dinner.
GREAT VENUE before the FOX! Convenient and close enough to walk.
Table of 6, 3 out of the 6 ordered entrees. When the food arrived the temperature of each entree was warm and not hot. We all returned our entrees to be reheated. Cherry Duck should never come out barely warm. Our waitress was super busy and stressed I don't believe there was enough staff to cover the floor. She apologized for something that wasn't her fault.
Everything was great with the food. They were busy that night and had no wine glasses available. I had to wait about 20 minutes for a glass. The waitress seemed a little overwhelmed by the amount of people.
Duck was fantastic. Cooked perfectly. Complimented nicely by sauce and risotto.
Great food, great stop before going to the Fox or Chaifetz arena
Went there before a show at the Fox. Good location, a 5 minute walk to the theater. Safe road to park for the restaurant and theater. Wife had salmon salad with the salmon a nice size and perfectly cooked. I had the waigu noodle dish which was also excellent. The menu says udon noodles but the use spaghetti noodles which actually I like better than udon which sometimes are slimy. The waitress was nice enough to go next door to the Asian restaurant to get me chop sticks. How nice. Overall a good low key place for dinner.
Food was cold when served. Portion size was large.
