We had a reservation for 7 o’clock, arrived a little before seven and were not seated until 730. People without reservations were seated ahead of us.
Of course Colleen was great as usual. We love coming to our vacation home and spending our Saturday evenings at Trio's.
Food was good. Service was awful. Waiter disappeared at times. Never even asked if we wanted dessert.
Friendly service from hostess to servers. Food was mediocre, mine was cold when it was served. The drinks had little to no alcohol in them. The waitress recommended the blood orange martini which was little more than juice. The others had vodka tonics which were all tonic. After two, my husband asked for a third and requested that they put vodka in it this time. They charged more for that one!! ($10.50)
We love the meatball starter. Cocktails were great and the entrees were delicious. Service was very attentive and we love the lively atmosphere.
Trio's continues to offer a good selection of food items. Our server was very professional and attentive.
Parents week end @ URI. Busy
Excellent meal !
Chef Stamps runs a great kitchen and personalised the experience. Food is great!
We were in the Narragansett area for a few days. Being pre-season and with late-winter weather lingering ominously, the place we intended to eat was not open. Found this gem on Open Table and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was all excellent, mostly local, and expertly prepared. The scallops were plump and superbly grilled, with a side of very fresh and tender asparagus. My clams with linguini was very tasty, as were the warm bread and homemade butter. Even the calamari and the french fries - both items that many places don't pay close attention to - were extraordinary. The real topper, though, was the way that the manager provided personal attention throughout our meal when he learned of an allergy in our party. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant experience and that no cross-contamination happened in the kitchen. Kudos to him, our server, and the kitchen crew for not only presenting a scrumptious meal, but adding a genuinely welcoming feeling that made our unplanned encounter the highlight of our long weekend.
We took our grand daughters out for dinner. My husband and one of my grand daughters ordered a roasted cod dish which they both loved. I like rare steak, but my steak was too rare and not very tasty.
Service was very good and we ran into an old friend who works at the bar which was nice.
Food is usually good,, but the new Atlantic salmon with polenta was a big disappointment. It was a green, poorly season purée with asparagus! What happened to the sweet potato and veg?
Our 30th wedding anniversary dinner was quite special. A complimentary glass of champagne for each of us set the tone for a wonderful evening. The food was exquisite, the service outstanding; we shall return!
Love that they are trying to incorporate local into their menu. The more local, the better for us. Wish the flat iron steak was locally sourced. The macaroni and cheese was ridiculously delicious! Wish they would use fancier black cherries in the drinks rather than marachino and wish they used paper take out boxes. Love this restaurant.
This was my second visit to Trio’s and I’ll definitely be back again. Looking forward to the outdoor dining in the summer!
Went during restaurant week. Ordered from price fixed menu. Appetizers outstanding. Butternut soup to die for. Chorizo fritters spicy but not atomic. Salad fresh. Main course done to perfection. Didn't seem like food "just for restaurant week". Chocolate cake great flavor and not too sweet. Grown up chocolate cake. Likewise the brûlée. Service was very professional and attentative.
Fabulous service. Seafood dishes are my favorite. My daughter is celiac and this is one restaurant we return to frequently because we TRUST that they are honestly gluten free with the offerings on their vast gluten free menu. Thank you for that TRIO.
Food was fabulous and service was great.
Another South country gem, not sure how we missed this place over the years. Stopped in January, couldn't wait to go back, so we did! Nice being able to reserve on open table. Very enjoyable meal.
Above A++ in every way.
Whatever you have, don’t forget to include the “boneless chicken wings!”
Perfection doesn’t come cheap, but it’s really spectacular.
Best scallops I've had in years! Calamari appetizer was also great. Would definitely recommend.
Trio is a wonderful neighborhood gem in Narragansett, RI. Located just a few minutes from the beach, this restaurant has a fantastic menu full of local ingredients and vibrant tastes. The kale salad is fresh and delicious, the Sunset Farm burger is the best burger I have ever ordered, the cod is my husband's favorite dish and the pan-seared scallops are amazing!
Consistently good food. We love to dine outside in fair weather or in the bar during the winter.
Great service, as always. From the hostess, to the waitress, to the bartender- all top notch. And one of the best dishes I’ve ever had at Trio - the swordfish special.
Great for locals in the off season. Consistant service, tasty food with nice presentation anytime of year.
Great selection of food and the prices were very reasonable for the area.
Unfortunately... the Brussels sprouts were over cooked and the braised lamb/wild mushroom risotto was so salty that I could only pick at it. This meal was not up to par for Trio.
Our server, Colleen, was knowledgeable, efficient and willing to laugh at my bad jokes. The food was tasty, well-prepared and a good value. Parking was free and available.
A totally satisfying experience.
We will be back.
Great service at the bar. Food was great.
It was great!
We were greeted warmly by the general manager, Joe, and a manager named Michelle. We quickly were seated and our server, Colleen, was super friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. Our meals and drinks were phenomenal. Thank you to the team at Trio for an exceptional dining experience!
The service was excellent and made it a fine evening
Enjoyed the variety of menu options. Meal was delicious.
Nice restaurant, food is pretty good yet a bit pricey. Service was terrible. Our waiter was in-attentive, had to be asked twice to get drinks and refills on water. Also a pain to chase him down for the bill.
The food is well prepared and always tasty! The people who work there are pleased to see you!
Another restaurant with such great potential but fails to make the customer feel special. The only accomodation to enhance a birthday was the offer to put a candle in a desert that we had to purchase. A very cold feeling on the part of the wait staff who treat you as though you are refuse.
Upon our arrival, two high chairs and children’s placemats had already been set which made our settling in easy. Our server was amazing, providing our daughters with water, juice boxes, a snack and their meals before my husband and I were served our food. This allowed us to actually eat our meals without them sitting and getting cold. We thoroughly enjoy trio and come here regularly.
Love this place, was my husband and I first time,we had a good experience.
Best Atlantic salmon ever ... loved the mustard greens and salmon rub as well as sweet pot wedges ... great combination
Husband said best swordfish ever!
Nice.🎉 place enjoyed our meal, friendly service, quiet sat by the fire. Gluten-free friendly
