   TRIO Grill is such a gem. Something you think you would find in downtown DC. The food was wonderful! I had the Rigatoni with brussels sprouts as the side. Yummy!

    Modern restaurant, trendy and very busy. Glad we had reservations as it was full the Saturday night we went at 7:30pm. Wonderful large booths and the regular tables had big comfortable cushioned chairs - not wooden ones. High ceilings, wide and open. The noise level was moderate so not the place for a quiet romantic dinner. Our server Antonio was very attentive and extremely polite and friendly - as were all the wait staff. The manager stopped by to introduce himself. Everyone was courteous and professional. The food is good— it’s a steak and seafood restaurant. The courses came on time and the food was appropriately hot on arrival. The oysters and fried calamari, the Cesar salad were perfect, the seafood Cioppino with garlic bread, the Chilean sea bass, the Salmon all excellent. The ribeye we ordered medium rare and it came medium rare! We had asparagus, mushrooms and fried Brussels sprouts all delicious. Our entrees averages $35-$55. The sides cost extra. We spent about $60 per person without the wine. A glass of wine about $18. The wine list is extensive with prices from around $40/$60 a bottle to in the 200’s plus. Overall, a great dining experience and a really good venue for a group of friends. I would definitely recommend it.

    We keep coming back to Trio because everything about it is just perfect! The wait staff is top notch and the overall quality can’t be beat. If you can, get a hightop at the bar. Kevin and Austin mix the best drinks in NOVA!

    We never eat out on Valentine's Day but this year had a medical milestone to celebrate. Great menu and superb service. We've been to Trio several times and have never been disappointed. Happy to have such a fine restaurant so close by.

    We celebrated an early Valentine's Day to beat the crowds. The dinner was very good. We had French onion soup, bacon and blue salad, bison New York strip, and salmon. The food was excellent, as were the drinks (From Tequila with Love, Sportsman Gimlet). The service was slow. We had to call over waiters not assigned to our table on more than one occasion. Nothing worse than having nothing to drink when dining. Staff were lovely overall and all pitched in. Just would have liked a little more timely attention for the price we were paying.

    Once and no more! I had lunch at Open Road next door. My friend at lunch told me Trio is a great place for a date! I booked a table for dinner at Trio for our anniversary dinner. Open Road is a dump with a menu of basically bar food. The patio has so many openings on the roof life that we shared the lunch with the finches. These birds are everywhere on that patio. They are very loud but luckily we didn’t get any bird droppings on our table. I took my wife back to the same spot but the next door: Trio. No parking anywhere! A sign in the parking directed the patrons to an off site lot. Of course the lot is to the right of the restaurant on the other side of a gas station. I had to go around the block before I could enter the off site lot. The lot is not lighted; there is no attendant. Leave the car on your own risk! I had to walk the width of the lot, cross the street, walk through a gas station before getting to the restaurant. NEVER AGAIN! The owners and the management of Trio need to provide free valet parking and stop sending the customers to the no man’s land to park their car. Inside, the piano was too loud and the service was slow. If one can get over the parking situation primarily, loud noise and the the slow service, the food itself is not bad!

    Excellent meal. Three in our party had steaks which were cooked precisely the way we wanted. The Shrimp with Grits was delicious also as was the Oysters Rockefeller. Very expensive though. No sides were provided with our entrees. We’ve been to Trio before and will go again for a special occasion

    Very nice food snd great service. Parking is difficult. I ended up walking a couple blocks on the coldest night of the year. Music was louder than it should be for a nicer restaurant.

    The PAPPARDELLE BOLOGNESE was excellent, but it did not come out hot the first time. This was quickly rectified, and my wife and I had a very good time at one of our favorite restaurants.

    My salmon was very uninspired. I was impressed when manager? came over and said I noticed you are not eating your salmon, is everything ok. I told him the truth, it is fine I just don't like the way it is prepared, not motivated to eat it. They didn't take if off the bill, not that they had to - but why ask if I am ok then (clearly didn't like it).

    Food was excellent as it has been with our past visits. The ambience is gently quiet and romantic; the patio had a roaring fireplace and looked warm although we chose the indoor seating. The staff were most gracious in assisting, especially since I have COPD issues. Our cooperative and understanding waiter did move our table a few feet from another guest table for my assurance. The restaurant (including the bathroom) was clean and imbued a concern for customers' health. Although we did not tell them, they made our Anniversary dinner a memorable experience. Thank you all.

    Another fantastic dinner at Trio! We’ve been dining here since the restaurant opened and have always received excellent service. Tonight was no different. As always the food was superb. The spinach salad with mustard vinaigrette was delightful. I had the scallops which were absolute perfection, and my husband ordered the pork chop with sweet potato purée which he found delicious. We so pleased to see the Key Lime pie was still on the menu. It’s the best I’ve had outside of Key West FL. Thank you for such a lovely evening!

    Early evening dinner but VERY limited parking since there are 2 restaurants sharing the space. Fortunately, got a space and arrived on time. Seating was well spaced and we enjoyed the food preparation. Service was pleasant but a bit slow. We will give it another try since the food was very good.
