We had a lovely dinner celebrating our Anniversary. Our waiter Marco was wonderful and gave us champagne to celebrate. The food and service was outstanding. We highly recommend Trio and look forward to returning soon!

We had Antonio as our server and we had a wonderful experience with him. We came in before the dinner rush so we had a quiet booth and a lovely service. Food and beverages were outstanding. Service was perfect and our plates extremely delectable. It tasted homemade and nothing was over cooked or under prepared. Trio manager stopped by to check on us and we had nothing but a chefs kiss to the service and food. A great way to celebrate father's day. Salmon, 22oz rib eye, aged chicken and the braised short rib stole our hearts and filled us up.

We were served by Antonio B on Father’s Day. He told us the specials, explained anything we asked on the menu. Suggested some good drinks. Brought our appetizers out promptly with our drinks. We had a wonderful time.

Enjoyed an excellent Father’s Day Sunday brunch at El Trio Grill. It’s a stylish, elegant spot with an impressive wine selection and outstanding food. The tuna tartare nachos on wonton chips were a personal favorite (absolutely delicious), but every dish, from appetizers to desserts, was great. The attentive service made the experience even better. Loved Trio Grille! The team were so kind in making us feel special while celebrating our anniversary. Food was seriously incredible- we had the gnocchi, tuna/crabcakes, and broccolini. Malbec was very good; my old fashioned was okay but not the best I’ve had. Service was tremendous. It was a little loud but we didn’t mind too much. It was a bit strange having a bar with several TV screens as the focal point from one sidebar the table in the fancy dining room. All in all a terrific experience and we’ll be back!!

My husband and I were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary and wanted a quiet romantic table for two. We got that and more. Our waiter “B” was very attentive and professional. He provided excellent service and answered our questions! We loved our dinner although the roasted asparagus and broccolini were very tough and hard to eat (especially if you have dentures) 😜. But overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back for more family celebrations! Thanks so much!!

One of my fave restaurants in the DMV, which is why I always go back here. The service is great as is the food, although a bit on the pricey side. Our recent waiter “B” was friendly yet not overbearing and stopped by just the right number of times to check on us. We got the short rib and Chilean sea bass this time, which were both excellent. I will say the portion of the sea bass was on the small side for a $50 entree, but it was delicious! Trio also had a nice outdoor dining patio and an indoor party room for ~20 guests I think. I will keep coming back to this place!

Experience made worse due to slowness of wait staff. A server mistakingly served us another table’s salad. I got the attention of the sever before he left the outdoor dining area,. He apologized and took the 2 salads to the next table over. One of the men at that table acted as if this a personal affront serving delayed and tainted salads since he saw that they had been incorrectly served within a minute. The man snapped at the server and then at the manager who came to apologize. The patron claimed to be mortified in from of his guests. It was all quite absurd and bullying. Our food was fine and the experience otherwise unimpressive. Will not be back.
