Favio took really good care of me and my boyfriend. The food was good and even though we came for restaurant week, we weren't treated any differently. We sat outside and got to enjoy a nice summer evening. I will definitely be back, for both the service and the food.
Really nice dinner with great service. We will be back!
This was our second visit to restaurant. It didn't disappoint . Food was very good and the wait staff was very attentive and genuinely friendly.
We were there from 6:30 until closing (literally, the last to leave). We were celebrating our marriage anniversary. Started with gin and rye whiskey with Oyester platter (not on the menu). Moved to main course with dry-aged ribeye and bison with shatter wine. Then we realized they had a cigar lounge. We had our dessert there. Met few regulars and the day got even more exciting. They did not have the good cigars and good scotch in stock. However, Cigars + whiskey (scotch and bourbon) greeted the late evening. Oh! And great conversations.
Really good food, really good service! I went there specifically for the halibut and was not disappointed.
Our wait staff were amazing! We were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary and they went over and above. Their customer service made the night extra special!
The restaurant was nice but they did not have enough parking spaces.
We went for my husband's birthday and were so pleased. We have driven past several times but this was our first time to try it out and we are so glad we did. Good service and delicious food. Will definitely return
Since I've reviewed Trio Grill before, this will be short: The Caesar salad, always very good, is once again including white anchovies--for me, a big plus. Anchovy haters need not worry: the waiter inquires whether the diner wishes them on the salad. The gazpacho was a little more acidic than in some restaurants which some folks may love and others not. The fish (I ordered the halibut) continues to be very fresh and not overwhelmed with sauces. My husband was very happy with the half chicken.
The biggest change has been the service: When we first ate at Trio about 4 1/2 years ago, the service was so poor that it says something about how good we found the food that we were willing (albeit about a year later) to try it again. We've eaten there several times since. The food is still excellent and, at least in our experience, the service has become excellent to match.
Wonderful evening. Great food. Interesting menu. Superb service. Can't wait to go back. The scallops were sensational served on top of a delicious mix of vegetables. Also the key lime pie with coconut crust was the best I've ever had.
Amazing service. Our server - Favio - was AMAZING!!!
Food and service were nice but we were seated in the back of the dining room near the smoking room. Midway through our meal the smoke was very bothersome with people coming and going to the smoking room. Will not be returning.
My wife and I chose the Trio for our anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. The waiter was helpful, polite, and friendly. Our food came quickly. The seating was comfy and the lighting was great. We had a wonderful dinner. It was a perfect celebration of our 3rd anniversary. We would reccomend the Trio grill to anyone.
Our waiter was EXCEPTIONAL!!!
We came for a birthday celebration. My husband wanted a good steak dinner, and Trio's menu offered a variety of steaks for a decent price. He was quite pleased with his meal. I loved the cocktail menu and the festive glassware! Nice wine list. Our food was delicious, but what really set this place apart was the exceptional service. We will definitely be back.
Our party of three all had steaks and they were precisely cooked. Thoroughly recommend the roasted cauliflower appetizer which was surprisingly tasty.
Service was extraordinary and wait staff was so courteous and paid attention to every detail. Food on the other hand was sub-par. We had ordered the halibut which seemed overcooked, dry, and without much taste. The rib-eye steak had the perfect texture but also was very bland. Also ordered beef bolognese that didn’t have much depth to the flavor—most of the dishes we selected just seemed to be missing seasoning and didn’t seem worth the price paid.
Service or kitchen was slow considering restaurant wasn’t very busy, BUT food was excellent and service was very gracious. Maybe most of the kitchen staff was on vacation. Normally we might not have minded the leisurely pace but it was getting late & we had to get up for work in the morning. Piano music was nice, but the noise level was high so sometimes hard to hear. Manager apologized for the loud party of people at the bar. Oh well. We definitely plan to go back.
Trio was amazing! We went for a be-lated birthday dinner. Our server Belay was attentive, personable and gave us the best recommendations. We were on the fence about ordering the fries as a side, so Belay brought them out to us "on the house". Everything was delicious. We will definitely go back again. Everything we ordered (many as a recommendation from Belay) was amazing! I had the boneless ribeye, which was one of the best steaks I have had in a while. My husband got the scallops which were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend Trio!
Amazing food. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time, and my filet mignon was delicious!
Phenomenal, as always!!
As always the quality of the food was very good. The Tuna Tartare Nachos are fantastic, as were the scallops. The outside patio is a great place to enjoy the food on a nice day.
First time visit despite being in the area many times. Top notch service and great food and wine. Waiters are knowledgeable about both the food and the wines they serve. A most pleasant evening and one which we’ll certainly repeat when back in town.
This is our 4th or 5th time at Trio and service and quality of food consistently good...the Trio staff goes out of their way to be sure customers are enjoying themselves and the food is up to expectations. If you have not tried Trio, you should.
The service and the seafood were excellent. I ordered the scallops and would do so again. My husband had the halibut. We don't care for fava beans, and the staff was very accommodating in serving the halibut "sides" of broccolini and risotto in place of the fava beans listed as the accompaniment for the scallops.
Though valet parking is available, those of us who choose to avoid valet parking hope that this restaurant finds additional ways to combat their parking issues. Expect to walk quite a distance if you elect to skip the valet offer. Only serious drawback to an otherwise winning destination.
It was our first time. We were looking forward to trying something new. We were seated at a good table. However within minutes it smelled of cigar smoke which we didn’t find appetizing. Turns out there’s a cigar room adjacent to the dining room. Every time they open the door it pours in. We moved further away but could still smell it. If you love the scent you’re in business. The food was very good and our server was very attentive. Not sure if we will go back due to the cigar odor.
Trio Grill rocks. Awesome cocktails. Good meats. Friendly staff.
I brought two of my friends who had never been to Trio. They couldn’t say enough about how delighted their were with our dining experience. Keep up the great work!
Love this place. Superb service from the time you walk up to the front door and all the way through our delicious meal.
We have been to Trio several times, and this was by far, the least positive experience we've had. It took much longer than it should have to serve our appetizers, due to some misunderstanding in the kitchen. Our waiter was pleasant but not extremely attentive. Although he might have been busy with other tables, we felt a bit ignored. We had to ask one or two other servers to assist in getting our drinks, food, etc. Our waiter eventually apologized, but he should have kept us informed as to what was going on and why it was taking so long rather than leaving us to wonder. He did not.
The food was good as it usually is, but apparent to my husband and I that there have been changes to the management and kitchen...
Tried the new summer menu. Crab cakes were delicious but disappointed in the dry halibut. Service was very good.
6 close friends celebrated a birthday at Trio, enjoying sitting on the open covered patio. Our server was outstanding, pacing our meal well and making good recommendations.
We enjoyed a round of oysters, shared kale and beet salads were tasty and not over dressed. The scallops, rockfish and pork chops were all well prepared and no one had a morsel left on their plate. We also shared key lime pie and Black Forest cake, while both were good the key lime was the biggest hit.
We had a most enjoyable evening with excellent attentive service. Thank you.
Our waiter was excellent. Very knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Made recommendations on changes to some sides. We had the short rib, rockfish and fish special. All enjoyed their entrees. Atmosphere is very nice. Great restaurant.
Great food and great service. Eggplant is delicious and so is the salmon. They have a private room for big parties which we used when we were a group of about 12! It was very nice! Everyone enjoyed it.
Great food, service, live piano is a great touch.
We took our granddaughter for graduation celebration. Food and service were great. Had a wonderful time. They congratulated her and brought her a special dessert.
