Trio An American Bistro
We ate here on the last night before the restaurant closed for the off-season, and the „last night“ aspect was evident in the food.... all of which was so-so. Low point was the pizza, which was supposed to be topped with kale but actually came with arugula, which was crazy bitter, and hadn‘t been cooked enough such that the Mozzarella hadn‘t even melted a bit. Just really disappointing because this is often a great restaurant.
Noise level is high. Makes it hard to converse at your own table.
Best restaurant in Jackson! Best hostess and servers anywhere in the world!
Food and service are excellent!! Tables are tight. Kind of feels like you are dining with people next to you.
We had the strip steak and although it was very nicely prepared, it had a lot of fat and some really tough parts. The potatoes and veggies were delicious.
Trio is always a good meal, but the halibut special I had Friday night was exceptional. Best entree I’ve had at trio, ever!
ALWAYS must have the mussels here....mussels, garlic, tomatoes and divine sauce to dip the grilled bread in. Get extra bread cuz one slice won't do it. Risotto was flavorful and delish. Three of us had hamburgers and fries which are so good and cooked to correct doneness or rareness. Blue cheese fondue with the fries is good and it makes a great extra sauce on the burger. No room for dessert! A favorite restaurant!!!
Mushroom bisque and Seared Halibut was delicious. Fish was cooked perfectly.
Great experience all around. Service was fantastic. The egg and mushroom appetizer with grilled bread was amazing. The grilled tomatoes with the Chicken were fantastic. Chicken was good, but could have used a little sauce? Overall a great dining experience.
Worst entre and service I’ve experienced
Pre concert dinning, great service and food choices
We requested a special table for a very important business meeting and were accommodated with graciousness! Loved everything about our dining experience!
It was great
Trio is a place I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Jackson. Amazing food and service.
We liked the food but we were not impressed with the two pizza’s we ate. It was a Sunday night so maybe the main pizza chef was off that night?
Service was great!
Always a great meal with great usuals and delicious seasonal dishes!
It's always a crap shoot making dinner reservations somewhere you've never been and that is certainly amplified when that restaurant is in another state! However, there was no need to worry, because dinner at Trio was wonderful. We had 2 appetizers--BLT soup & Mushroom & Egg---which were so tasty & seasoned well. We shared the elk entree with whipped potatoes & carrots. As a 1st time elk eater I was ambivalent, but it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! Service was very good, as were the cocktails. I would definitely go back to Trio if I am fortunate enough to visit the Jackson Hole area again!
Josh was great as always! Pizza and pasta were great!
One of the best restaurants in Jackson Hole, great food and ambience
This was our last night in Jackson and we were celebrating our Anniversary. TRIO was the right choice for sure! The Fois Gras was sinfully delicious and the risotto and the Flat Iron steak was literally something to write home about - in fact, we did...
The service was just right and the cocktails were great. This will easily become our new favorite place in Jackson - just what we were looking for!!
Got there late - guide had us out in the mountains to take in the sunset !
Friendly folks, great food - the pizza was crispy crust & not burnt, the braised veal pasta rocks !
We just arrived into town from Texas. My favorite restaurant is Trio! We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching them cook in the wood fired pizza oven while enjoying a bottle of wine. We started with the mussels (fabulous) then had the arugula prosciutto pizza!! Perfect dining experience!!
The food and wine were delicious and the service outstanding. We had a great table near the window with a view.
Solid and a must dinner when in Jackson Hole
Great food and service
Burger is usually good...however it was terrible and chewy tonight. The kitchen was out of my favorite starter; the mussels. Also, the waiter told me the specials. I proceed to order the entre, and he tells me its sold out. Drink order was incorrect & had to send the first two cocktails back. Usually a good spot for dinner, however tonight I'd rate a 2 out of 10. However your average dessert and waffle sustained my hunger. Wont be back anytime soon.
Trio was recommended by a friend who visits Jackson each year. The food was ok, not a very extensive menu, service was very good, but the noise level was so high it was virtually impossible to have a conversation. Also, the space is pretty small so the tables are right on top of each other. For the price ($$$) I think I would have enjoyed someplace else more
The salad, wood fire pizzas, and smores are amazing! Highly recommend.
We had the risotto and halibut dinners. They were among the best dinners we have had all summer. (especially the halibut) We ate dinner at 6 different restaurants in Jackson Hole and Trio Bistro was by far the best one.
The snap pea risotto was the best risotto I have ever had anywhere.
OK but nothing special. Hope they now know what a Flat White coffee is 0;)
Had the Veal and wife had risotto, both very good.
Very friendly service. Food was good not great. Most of the restaurants in Jackson appear to be a bit overrated, I assume due to the amount of tourists coming in and out of town.
Great atmosphere, fab waiting staff who were friendly and helpful when going through the menu and recommendations. Wagyu steak was delish and just what i was after. Would highly recommend
Our friend’s sister, who lives in Jackson, recommended that my husband and I go to Trio for dinner, and it was a great tip! We arrived at 5:30 p.m. when they open, and we shared the BLT tomato soup appetizer (so flavorful – and plenty to split between the two of us, they even brought it to us in two bowls). My husband enjoyed a Wagyu flat iron steak that was just beautiful, a very thick steak, cooked to perfection, with a great flavor! I had the mussel appetizer as my meal, and the broth was filled with cherry tomatoes. The mussels were SOOO tender and flavorful. Just delicious, and then I soaked up some broth with their yummy charred bread that came with the mussels. I highly recommend Trio, as did the local!
Nice dining atmosphere. Server was friendly and attentive. Good signature drinks. Enjoyed the meal!
Our server was very good, best of the restaurants we dined at. Started off with the crispy waffle fries with blue cheese topping on the side. We ended up eating all the cheese. I would’ve liked another order if I had room.
Hubby’s elk rib eye was very good but pricey. My roasted chicken half was too much food for me but was ok, a tad overdone. I couldn’t finish it all and took it home. After microwave to heat up the next day, the chicken was drier.
We skipped dessert as we were both full.
We come to Jackson Hole every August, and Trios has probably always been one of our favorites, but not this year! Actually, this year maybe the bottom of the list! My burger was really almost inedible! If was basically ground meat that was so chewy that it was hard to swallow! All my friend’s selections were subpar also! The chicken was huge but very dry. Very disappointing, but hope to see improvement by next August!
Menu was sparse with big push on specials. Beer was not cold enough. A bit overprice for the size and quality of food. But better than most Jackson hole eateries.
Trio has been around for years and never disappoints. We started with a Black Manhattan, shared a Huidekoper Spring salad and for our mains, chose the specials. My halibut on pureed corn with long thin mushrooms was delicious, while my spouse enjoyed his Wagu Sirloin steak. I love the atmosphere, and it is within walking distance of all downtown events.
Love this restaurant, one of our favorites we hit every time we are in town!!
