About Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant
A True NYC Gem
Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant is a New Breed of a bar and restaurant in Manhattan’s Financial district. The bar itself is fitted within an historical Wall Street bank vault dating from 1904, showing off the true wealth and power of its day. Old world indulgence is married perfectly with new world contemporary elements to create a warm comfortable vibe welcoming to all who peer through its doors.
Over size red silk lamp shades give delicate light to the 40 feet of mahogany bar anchored by Italian made beer towers.
Brown leather banquette’s hand crafted in Ireland fit perfectly between pillar of 5’ thick steel, and the mahogany wood clad dining room with chandelier compliments the menu to please even the most refined palette.

Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Unfortunately this place has turned into a Millenial watering hole complete with the cast of Gossip Girl.
It was loud and obnoxious and could barely hear myself chew over the conversation of the entitled group of tweens exchanging Snapchat screenshots and talking about their lawyers and mountains they own.
The service and food were completely unimpressive as well.
This place used to be a respected finer eatery. Now, wasted cab fair.
The hostess was beyond helpful so we were grateful for at least that.
amazing setting in an old bank vault which is a great experience. menu was not what we had seen online an was a bit basic but main courses was ample.
my partner ordered the tomato soup to start with but got bits of lobster shell in it. thank god he wasnt allergic to shellfish!. Overall the ambience made up for everything
Very good food, attentive and excellent service, great ambiance. More noisy than I would have liked, but it’s the holidays and there were some large tables. The rolls were delicious, one of the few restaurants where they’re not just an afterthought. The tuna/salmon tartar was delicious and make sure you order the chocolate truffles for dessert. They are heavenly.
Really great ambiance and interesting menu! We were there for a lunch with colleagues and had not known about this restaurant. We have been in the neighborhood for over 20 years and just found this place. We are thinking of booking it again for Christmas Dinner next year!
I went to this restaurant because of its' location close to my client. I found the restaurant online, and it fit the bill for what I was looking for. The food was very good, not spectacular. The service was great. It was exactly what I expected and was not disappointed in the least.
Admittedly I was a bit concerned as we were ushered into the noisy, busy bar scene on a Friday evening. Yet our hostess continued through to a quiet, softly lit, elegantly appointed dining area. Our meal began with a chacuterie board with us choosing two cheeses and two meats. The dinner entrees offered a more gourmet selection than I anticipated and were above par for each of us. The waitress was poised, helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the luxury of the peace of early dining, but the tables seemed to be spaced well enough to provide some solitude even when filled to capacity.
We visited Trinity Bar & Restaurant after visiting the top of One World Trade Center. The restaurant was gorgeous and our reservation worked well so we were seated right away upon arrival. The ambiance was light and there was a mixture of business professionals, couples, and young adults.
Housed inside an old bank vault with outside views of Wall Street and the Financial District, this place is so fun!
The atmosphere was quiet for us because we had such a late lunch. We sat in the bar area with a great view looking up and out onto the Financial District. Perfect!
Service was excellent and attentive. Our waiter helped with suggestions and food options.
I would make this a stop on next visits to New York.
I took my husband to Trinity Place to celebrate his birthday. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff was friendly and warm and the food was delicious.
My husband was very happy with is cocktail and I was too. Some restaurants are not very authentic in making cocktails the way they are supposed to be made. Trinity got it right every time. There was a bar area with a fun stylish NY atmosphere and a more quiet intimate dining section where we were seated. It was romantic and perfect for the occasion.
Loved this place ! First time here and absolutely worth the trip!!! Food was hot and in great portions. Steak melted in your mouth and the bar served great drinks. Very lively bar ! Absolutely the coolest interior with the original bank vault doors still there. Staff was friendly and made the experience even better! Will absolutely be back next time in NYC !!!
We had an excellent kobe burger here; thick and flavorful, it included a side salad with enough volume to be respectable, and chunky fries. The ambience of sitting in the old bank vault was fun, and the service was spot-on. Great experience, great burger, with prices which could be considered very moderate for the financial district. Great stop after One World Tower, with better quality food.
Your place has a lot of character but if found it to be very noisy for a business lunch. I was there for a post work gathering and found the same - very very noisy.
Appetizer cheese plate was good but bread slices should be more toasted or not toasted at all. One side of the slice was soft and the other hard. My soup of the day - butternut squash - was so so and my salad did not really have enough or maybe no dressing. Like eating romaine with shaved parm cheese on it and nothing else. Maybe offer a small container of dressing on the side so people can add more if they need it. Saves the wait staff from having to run back to the kitchen when they ask for it. Also if no pepper on the table your wait staff should offer freshly ground. Coffee was very good.
We were disappointed. Saw great reviews and thought the atmosphere sounded awesome (old bank vault... wha?!). It was definitely cool inside; however the food was sub-par. The lobster bisque was gross. Tasted like dead fish mixed with salt water. Not even sure it was made with lobster... the short ribs were good but the mashed potatoes weren’t special and the fava beans were bland. Definitely could have eaten at a better spot during our 3 nights in NYC
