Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant
Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant is a New Breed of a bar and restaurant in Manhattan’s Financial district. The bar itself is fitted within an historical Wall Street bank vault dating from 1904, showing off the true wealth and power of its day. If even to visit our two 35 ton vault doors it will be worth the trip.
Old world indulgence is married perfectly with new world contemporary elements to create a warm comfortable vibe welcoming to all who peer through its doors.
Over size red silk lamp shades give delicate light to the 40 feet of mahogany bar anchored by Italian made beer towers.
Brown leather banquette’s hand crafted in Ireland fit perfectly between pillar of 5’ thick steel, and the mahogany wood clad dining room with chandelier compliments the menu to please even the most refined palette.
Delicious food and great service!
Really good food. Sat in the more casual area. Think the restaurants Is more formal.
Excellent food in a truly unique venue, great location and easy to reach. Among the many excellent entrees, the filet mignon is outstanding (literally melts in your mouth) and the wagyu burger is also delicious. Very helpful and friendly staff, eager to answer questions and react promptly to our requests. We had a late reservation with a largish party (6), so we ended up choosing our desserts while still working on our mains because the kitchen was about to close (around 10:30 I believe). Not a big deal, but I'd recommend not to make a late reservation if you have a large group. We would definitely come back!
Loved the atmosphere, walking through the vault door to our table was pretty cool. Food was delicious and the staff was very attentive and efficient
Good food and great service with a unique ambiance.
1st the two host were amazing, we brought our 10 month old baby after losing four children over 14 years of marriage and they treated her like a queen it made us feel beyond special. Their professional, smiles and kindness were welcoming. The ambience was amazing. The food was amazing our waitress were great.
Everyone was incredibly friendly - the bartender, waiters, hostess. We had a marvelous meal, and we can't wait to go back!
We had a very nice brunch. The restaurant was relatively quiet. It was a nice spot for a girls’ brunch.
Cool find right around the corner from the Marriot at the world trade center. It is an old bank vault converted to a bar and restaurant. Very lively bar area from 5-8pm. Restaurant is quieter. The menu is varied and I would highly recommend the chicken under a brick it was delicious. We had 3 people with drinks and a shared desert and it was only $160
Good food, nice dinner to catch up with a friend. A reservation meant we were sat in the back 'vault' area which was great, because at 630pm on a Wednesday the front bar area was very lively and loud. Would have had a hard time talking across a table to my friend. Would come back.
The drinks were fantastic! They catered to make a virgin drink for me and it was delicious! They gladly let us sit in the bar area before our reservation time. the food was amazing!
Decor and design of this place is extremely unique! Unfortunately service fell flat, before I was finished with my soup, my hot meal arrived. I sent my soup away so my dinner did not sit to get cold. The ravioli was good but not the best, the sauce has a unique citrus taste that was unexpected. During my dining experience, my server never came back to check in on how each of my dishes were. Overall I felt very rushed. Okay experience— could be better!
Lobster sandwich was runny and too much mayonnaise. Three out of the four dining ordered that meal. Disappointing.
We were really unhappy with our experience. The service was not very good. I was not asked if I wanted another cocktail and no one really checked on us. Two different waiters were working our table so it was confusing. I had a cauliflower soup that was bland and my husband's steak was not very warm. This was one of two dinners we did in NYC and we felt like we wasted an opportunity to experience an amazing meal.
Wonderful restaurant! Everything was perfect. We loved the uniqueness inside a bank vault, the menu had great choices, and the staff was so nice.
Restaurant will not accommodate vegan diet—Vegan options included: mixed green salad and broccolini. Service was very poor but food was good.
Service and environment are great! Food was underwhelming. I had the ravioli which was drowning in salt and butter. Next time I’ll go simpler with a burger.
Awesome Great service. Great food
Unlike the name, it is pretty cozy place, serving traditional irish food and quality beer.
Okay for an early lunch, but too noisy after midday
The visit to Trinity Place was an evening, business meeting. The setting in a Vault with huge brass doors and exposed locking mechanism at each end is so interesting. The staff were professional, enthusiastic and attentive. The food was actually better than expected - nice broad ranging menu with lots of interest and excellent vegetarian options. The wine list was nicely assembled and actually reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our visit and were the last to leave. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food, a little pricy for lunch, fun place but very noisy. Hard to have a business conversation even when I requested a quiet table. Attentive service. Eaten here several times and always enjoyed the food but the noise level is very distracting. Love the tuna and soba noodles.
Very good overall
Lunch was an enjoyable opportunity to discuss business and understand the requirement of our customer for a new employee. Nice to be back in the City again.
Cool door (it's a vault from the turn of the century -- cool!) But not great food. Bleh.
Good food, cool place, service was slow
I brought very special person for dinner and she ordered Shrimp Ceasar Salad. The waitress brought...the whole green leaves with a little white says win a few leaves and shrimps on the side. There was not a crunchy bread neither tomatoes or anything else in there. It was a little cheese at the bottom of dish! My guest as disappointed. I was embarrassed, and we were completely down after her 10 minutes trying to cut/chop those hard fresh leaves. She gave up and ate only cold shrimps.
My dinner was supposed to be fried seafood with a little says. Instead it was a soup with lots of sausage where it was difficult to find any potatoes. And the broil was feim the mussels. Just imagine that taste and smell!
That was total disaster, and that chef should be fired immediately. I have been eating different kind of Ceasar Salads all over the world, and I have never seen something like that. I will never ever come back there, and I will never recommend this place to anybody!
Three of us, former business associates, had a lovely time eating and visiting. Previously, I had gone to Trinity Place for dinner when it is more quiet. At lunchtime, it is hopping - lively and still able to converse and relax!
Endroit sympathique assez bonne ambiance.
dommage que la rapidité service nous ait presque mis à la porte et que nous n'ayons pu accéder à la salle du coffre.
Food and service were very good. Ask for a table in the back. Great place for a business dinner. Quiet atmosphere. Unobtrusive but attentive staff.
Had been here twice before for lunch and enjoyed it. This time we were seated further back than previously and it was extremely noisy. Food was mediocre - turkey burger was dry. Not planning to return.
Excellent food and service. Creative dishes. Whomever bakes their bread is an artist. Spirits wonderful.
We were in town on business, spotted this location and had to stop in. Brick chicken was super but Brian our server, he was just exceptional.
The food at Trinity was of good quality although a bit pricey
It’s always cool to dine in a bank vault. The top part of the vault door is very dusty though , they should clean it better.
Several of my friends and I had a fantastic time here, again! This time we sat in the back dining room for a change. We got hooked on the appetizers on our prior visit so ordered pretty much every one on the menu in multiples! What a fun delicious way to hand out and socialize over drinks. I highly recommend the sliders, empanadas, pigs in blanket, shrimp, tuna, and meatballs! The have an excellent chef. The bar staff and waitresses were top notch. Looking forward to our next outing, and perhaps renting out the venue for an event space too!
Cool spot with the history and the vaults in the dinning area. The service is very slow. They aren't rude or ignorant but just seem understaffed. Food was decent but you aren't going to leave saying "delicious".
This is a good place if you want to dine inside a bank vault, but not if you want to hold a private conversation. The food was fine, but a bit overpriced
