Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant
Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant is a New Breed of a bar and restaurant in Manhattan’s Financial district. The bar itself is fitted within an historical Wall Street bank vault dating from 1904, showing off the true wealth and power of its day. If even to visit our two 35 ton vault doors it will be worth the trip.
Old world indulgence is married perfectly with new world contemporary elements to create a warm comfortable vibe welcoming to all who peer through its doors.
Over size red silk lamp shades give delicate light to the 40 feet of mahogany bar anchored by Italian made beer towers.
Brown leather banquette’s hand crafted in Ireland fit perfectly between pillar of 5’ thick steel, and the mahogany wood clad dining room with chandelier compliments the menu to please even the most refined palette.
Good recommendation from the waiter about selections
Had dinner there with a friend on Monday night. Onion and cheese tart appetizer was very good as were our salmon entrees. Salmon was served on top of some tasty vegetables sitting in a nice sauce. A pleasant meal and evening for under $50 per person; neither of us ordered alcohol or dessert. Noticed a mix of adult groups and families and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I would recommend the back dining room as I understand the bar dining area can get loud.
Met friends for brunch. The French today was very good. The service was ver good.
For those not so familiar with the Wall Street area, this place is hard to find especially since it has a Broadway address yet it's on Cedar St. BUT, it's well worth finding. First off, the space is beyond cool, in an old bank vault, and when you walk in, there's no doubt you're in one! Bar is big yet cozy but I'm sure it has a very lively during happy hour. Lunch menu items include comfort food favorites but also a variety of different selections that aren't typical pub foods. Service was friendly and prompt and the food was really good. Drinks too. Definitely will return when we're in the area.
Nice food and we love the vault!
Overall pretty good. We like our tuna soba and salmon, the taste is perfect!
First time there. Went on a Sunday night and it was very quiet overall. I sat in the bar area with friends but it still was not noisy. All staff was very attentive. Food was great. Burger n pigs in a blanket..YUMMY!

Great location near WTC PATH, and very cool ambience inside the vault.
It is quite loud inside (both bar area and back room for dinner) so probably not the place for a romantic evening or intimate setting.
The menu was diverse but not over complicated. Each dish was a beautiful presentation and delicious.
It was very busy inside and staff was a bit overwhelmed at times.
Insufficient light to read the menu and to see my food, which was very good. A man next to me was extremely annoying, never stop talking, loud with profanity.
Saturday was my first time eating at Trinity Place. I was very happy with my experience there. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and delicious food. They were very accommodating and allowed us unlimited time to eat and chat. I will definitely come back.
This restaurant lives up to the claim that it is a unique dining experience. The vault doors are a fascinating engineering feat and an interesting historical curiosity.
Food was very good. An excellent, quiet, civilized dining experience for NYC - not the typical DIN one might ordinarily expect.
Great spot for a pub lunch break in the financial district.
Great restaurant to take out of town business associates.
Cool place with amazing food
Loved the venue. Prices were good for downtown. Food & cocktails were delicious. The Bar was packed ( not March Madness) Was Meeting up w. Family in town on business & they wanted to go somewhere different near the hotel. Will definitely go back.
This is a gem! Cool ambiance with the old vault features visible! The food was delicious. Service on point.
I would highly recommend this restaurant!
I ordered the Lunch Special. Bad idea. Portion was child size and completely out of line with pricing and portion of regular menu items. It was a business lunch, and I didn't want to disrupt the flow of conversation to make a comment to the waitress. I did have a moment 2 days later to speak with the manager Amy about my experience. That wasn't any better. Rather than apologize for the experience, she offered for me to leave my contact information -- so that she can check with the waitress and manager on duty to see if in fact my experience was inappropriate. If it all checked out, she would be pleased to give me a dessert next time I am in! LOL I didn't want anything. I was just calling to give them some friendly feedback. Along the way, they managed to turn a regular customer, into an opentable negative reviewer. Punch line: Hamburgers and salmon are good. Stay away from the specials.
I will be staying away from Trinity Place altogether.
Great brunch with family and friends on St. Patrick's Day. Service professional and food was spectacular. French Toast was amazing!
It was great, we went on a Friday night and they had a Champagne sangria special all night, it was delicious! The food was great as well my favorite was the duo tartar.
Excellent food and prices. Always very satisfied dining here.
Interesting slice of banking history in the heart of wall street, bespeaks gravitas and comfort.
Good food /service and near the 9/11 memorial and we were hungry! Bar menu is fun, portions are small but easy to get a few and share. We had Kobe Burger, Gnocchi and Pork Chop - all delicious.
We enjoyed a leisurely dinner in the restaurant side of Trinity Place. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun!
Lobster BLT and Kobe burger were awesome. Our server was very attentive. We would definitely go back.
We had a reservation and waited just a few minutes to be seated. This restaurant has an excellent menu, with choices to accommodate all. I had the pre-fixed chicken dish which came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was cooked and seasoned just right. Our server was pleasant and extremely efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great location and not priced too high. It seems most restaurants downtown are either too expensive or too "cheap". This was beautiful and not too pricey.
Very enjoyable experience. Very fun to see the actual Vault. Food was good, service very nice.
Service and ambience excellent. Convenient location. Reasonable prices for NYC. Food mediocre.
Great place to eat, the food is amazing and the ambiance is awesome. Great for date night or group outing.
Great place! A *little* tricky to find, but such a cool ambiance. Very loud in the bar area, but the dining room was much more reasonable. Food was good. Service was nice. Great place for a meal after visiting the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. Would definitely return.
When we arrived, the place was empty and I wondered if a reservation was even necessary. Within 15 minutes, the place started to fill up. By the time we left, it was heaving with people eating lunch.
We all had the burger and were very happy with our choices. The burger was perfectly medium rare and juicy. Would definite order the burger again.
FIRST TIME AT TRINITY PLACE BAR & RESTAURANT CELEBRATED MY DAUGHTERS 19TH BIRTHDAY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.
Nice place - interesting decor- we were seated in the back- nice and quiet, though the room did fill up. Great service great food. We will go back
We had a wonderful brunch on an early Saturday afternoon. Nice Irish twist on brunch. Irish sausages were very authentic and delicious. Drinks were good. Service was good. Not a huge crowd when we went, so had no problem walking around and checking out the Vault doors and the steel walls. Unique place, a bit of history, good food & drink, terrific location!
Our waiter was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. The food was also very good. The atmosphere of an old bank was unique and enjoyable. Would Definately reccomend
Great ambience with friends and for dates. Food portion are big, so great for sharing. Great historical background with the building and the vault.
I was really worried walking in because the noise from the bar was so intense, but then you walk through the curtains at the back of the room and find yourself in a much quieter, very pleasant space. The pork chop was delicious, the service was excellent and I consider this a really good find.
It was an awesome place... the food ... the wine & the space. We had a really nice time.
