Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant
Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant is a New Breed of a bar and restaurant in Manhattan’s Financial district. The bar itself is fitted within an historical Wall Street bank vault dating from 1904, showing off the true wealth and power of its day. If even to visit our two 35 ton vault doors it will be worth the trip.
Old world indulgence is married perfectly with new world contemporary elements to create a warm comfortable vibe welcoming to all who peer through its doors.
Over size red silk lamp shades give delicate light to the 40 feet of mahogany bar anchored by Italian made beer towers.
Brown leather banquette’s hand crafted in Ireland fit perfectly between pillar of 5’ thick steel, and the mahogany wood clad dining room with chandelier compliments the menu to please even the most refined palette.
I enjoyed the drinks and bar menu, but I found the dinner menu to be lacking.
The restaurant was awesome! Excellent service, delicious food and wonderful ambiance! A unique experience. A little treasure discovered.
Everything was perfect. The only downside was maybe an air conditioning too cold for us.
We went on a Sunday evening, very quiet and nice atmosphere for a quiet dinner date. Nicely lit candles and overall low lighting but not to dark. Clam chowder was very good, not to "creamy" I thought the broth was perfect. My partner had the seafood stew which was a good size portion and was also good. He did think the salmon in the stew was a tiny bit bland, but overall he enjoyed the dish. I had the soba noodle tuna dish which was very good. the tuna was sushi grade, was very good and a nice portion. The noodles were excellent and cooked perfectly, not mushy at all. I'm not sure if it said on the menu that this dish is served cold. If I were to have it again I think I would ask it be heated a touch. Overall the dish was very good and definately would recommend it. We enjoyed the restaurant and both agreed we would return. Unfortunately there were no "specials" on the menu, possibly because it was a Sunday, but I hope in the future they do offer some.
Our experience was fantastic. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend Trinity Place!
We chose Trinity for a work trip due in part to its proximity to our hotel. Unfortunately our dining experience did not get off to a good start when we arrived on time for our reservation and were confronted with an empty hostess stand. We waited for almost 15 minutes and when we were about to leave a frazzled waitress emerged from the other room and started playing with the computer for another five minutes which she couldn’t get to work.
The meal service was definitely better but nothing to write home about. The food was average and prices were slightly higher than average for lower Manhattan. With so much competition for restaurants, I would have definitely tried a different place given the opportunity to choose again.
A great place for dinner. The food was fantastic, and the service was polite, respectful, not overbearing...the right mix of helpful without being intrusive.
Wonderful ambiance in a former bank’s vault. Good food. Great place for a date or a business meeting.
Ate here for a business lunch. Server was annoyed. Service felt rushed. I asked for mustard and did not receive it. Asked the manager and she snapped at me. Very odd experience
I like dark, but it was literally too dark to easily read the menu.
I ordered the Gorgonzola ravioli with the hazelnut browned butter sauce. The sauce was very flavorful, but it was unusually acidic, and that overwhelmed everything else. The ravioli were especially bland in comparison. I wasn’t really able to taste the filling. It did not help that the ravioli had very large fringes that were essentially just flavorless texture.
Terrific lunch place downtown. They will always find a table somehow, even if no reservation or you are late for your reservation - as I frequently am. Food is dependably good - salads, burgers, cheese board. Staff is very friendly. They will also get you in and out in an hour which is handy. I always eat there when i'm in that part of town. Highly recommend.
It is a convenient place to meet with visiting friends and family during the work day. Their kitchen is fast and the service is courteous. It's busy but the acoustics are better by the bar so you can have a conversation without raising your voice.
We are French and have chosen this restaurant for our last dinner in NYC. without regrets ! the room is very intimate and warm. No noise (but we had the room almost for us). the service was perfect and the food delicious (rare in New York!). go without thinking, it will be a successful moment for sure!
Overall really good
Lovely quirky place. Nice atmosphere and service. Lovely steak and loved the Cucumber Cosmo.
An absolute must go to!
Great atmosphere -- it conveys the sense of New York's historic financial district. Lots of dark wood. Very friendly service. Our waitress was charming. Good food. It was nice to have rhubarb crumble for dessert. Conveniently located near World Trade Centre Ground Zero and Saint Paul's Chapel. We had dinner here because it's a five-minute walk from Saint Paul's Chapel, where we attended a concert.
Cute, rich bar where you would go for a later hour. I had lunch and it was good, service fast and friendly.
Always a pleasure to dine here whether at a table for a business lunch or with friends at the bar. Friendly staff and good food as well as the unique ambiance of the old bank vault upon entry make this a go to spot in lower Manhattan.
Great space for dates, special occasions, business dinners...service is great, the location and ambiance are great and the food is excellent!!
we had cob salads, they were good but can use some upgrading .
Good meal, service and atmosphere. Great lunch for visitors to the 9-11 museum area.
Server was great. Food was good
The food was different than most restaurants and the ambiance was nice. Celebrated my birthday there and all had a great time..
Thought this burger wad going to be as event. No so much. Waiters were great.
Great lunch spot
Food was delicious ( tuna and soba noodles)
We shared chocolate truffles for dessert and was delightful
Nice friendly service !
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Being a Sunday night it was quiet and relaxing, we were taken care of and my gnocchi were very tasty! Prices very reasonable too.
Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Bellissimo locale peccato per l'illuminazione a mio avviso scarsa, per il resto tutto ok.
Bar staff was fun and attentive. Hostess and wait staff in the restaurant were very aware of my wife’s food allergy and made sure she was taken care of.
Good food. Small portions for the ravioli but GREAT quality. Highly recommend the ambiance.
Trinity Place Bar was fun and the food was quite good. We had several appetizers--the cheese plate was generous, the mini pizza tasty for and offers a few bites for a table of four, same for the pretzel. The onion tart melts in the mouth, the burger is hearty. The rhubarb crumble satisfied us all: just the right combo of sweet and sour. Drinks were well done. Our biggest complaint, and it is both important and easy to fix is this: Open Table sent us to email 115 Broadway. It was cold and rainy and we walked and walked around Broadway, trying to find this restaurant. It is actually on Cedar, not well marked and with no number. It was a disaster trying to meet us with people to whom we could not direct to the proper address. And we were wet and exhausted when we finally found it. Please get the address right because this bar and restaurant is worth it.
Everything was great ;)
I love Trinity!
Great burger, sushi app and oysters.
The atmosphere is classic. Ideal for lunch, but can get mobbed after work.
We were celebrating a birthday and had a great time! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu was varied and interesting. We had some food allergies/sensitivities in our party and everyone found something they could eat. Looking forward to coming back!
Fantastic service, server was very aware of gluten free considerations
Always good. Terrific service. They always manage to find us a table with or without a reservation. Food is good and they can get you in and out in an hour. Great restaurant.
Enjoyed our Easter brunch. Food was great except for the French toast. Wouldn't recommend that
Amazing meal, the music was a little loud
fine for a quick lunch if you are downtown -- otherwise no reason to go
