This restaurant is always a must visit when our friends visit. Love the tarimasu.
Very pleasant staff, excellent food so we will be back. Calamari is the best we have ever had.
As a local this is the place to be along with their sister restaurant, Sammy G's in downtown Palm Springs. The food is always outstanding!!
We love this restaurant and come here at least twice while on vacation here. The little extra's such as the delicious crushed olives and amaretto are wonderful, as well as the service! Fabulous menu choices and excellent value for quality food, especially the per-fixed menu. Beautiful patio too, can't say enough great things about this restaurant.
Well we have been at your restaurant about four times in the last month.
I know tennis is in town but we had a table of 6 next to us very loud then when they left, another sitting of 7 showed up again loud. In every dinner we have had at your restaurant we had a guest. So we are going to take a break from your restaurant for awhile.
Second visit and the food was as great as the first time. Can't wait to return.
Family favorite, eat at Trilussa all the time!
The food was excellent and more than enough. It is great value for the dollar, especially if you get the early bird menu. An appetizer, main and dessert for 22.95-31.95..I had the rack of lamb which was 31.95 and excellent. Another valley restaurant was charging 71.00 for rack of lamb so this was a steal. My only complaint wasn’t with the food or service but when I reserved through Open Table the hostess said I had requested and reserved a booth right by the door and the hostess station. She asked our guests, who were seated outside on the patio to move in to that booth as that was reserved for us. I did NOT ask for that booth and have never had that happen with any Open Table reservations before...very strange. They give you a free liqueur such as Amaretto and biscotti after supper as well...will definitely go back. Love this restaurant and recommend it to every one we can.
Fantastic food and Antonio was the nicest waitstaff!
Food and service great...noise level high...too loud...however would not prevent me
from going back again..
Every visit to Trilussa is a treat! Friendly staff, great food. The gem of Cathedral City!
A favored place for us to dine. We know how much we'll enjoy a terrific Italian dinner in a fun place abuzz with activity. This time confirmed it: minestrone soup with added parmesan was flavorful and healthy. We loved our tasty pasta with shrimp and chicken cacciatori.
Trilussa is always busy. Reservations are a wise move.
We have eaten here several times, We have never been dissapointed. The service was excellent wait staff friendly, pleasent conversation staff attentive
Ambience inviting. Great presentation , generous portions., food was hot when served.
Our appetizers' orders were "lost"; took lots of time to get food. They did have a very large group in the private dining room. This restaurant is always good and often exceptional. What is really puzzling is that there website is unavailable. No explanation from dining room manager.
Had the special...very good. Can get pricey with wine/cocktails, but enjoyed our meals
The rack of lamb and salmon were excellent. Salads can be shared. Atmosphere charming, professional service and leisurely elegant. Would highly recommend.
LOVED IT! Hands down go eats!!!
Service is great! Ana, Jose ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It had been awhile since I had been there. Very happy things are still terrific! Excellent wine, food was superb, desert was out of this world. And last but not least, Joshua, fantastic server. Personable, knowledgeable, exactly what a 5 star restaurant needs! Can’t wait to return!! Bravo!
Came here for a dinner reservation not realizing it was a little far from Palm Springs but really enjoyed it! The food was good, not great but our server, Juan Carlos was excellent!!! The olive tapenade, entertainment and black Sambuca with biscotti at the end of dinner made a great evening! Also they have happy hour on Saturdays!!
Great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Love the food.
Asked for a small salad, confirmed with server it was a small and was charger 12.95 for a full size salad. Asked for pasta instead of mashed potatoes and got pasta but left out the vegetable. Not impressed!
Asked for table away from entrance------was very cold when opened. We were accommodated with a nice back table. We asked for a couple of menu items to be modified to our tastes and were given what we wanted with no objections. Our waiter-----Hector-----was very good and attentive. Overall the food, service and general ambiance was pleasant. We have been to The Happy Hour and have enjoyed that as well. We are looking forward to warmer weather and coming to enjoy the outside deck on a nice evening.
Trilussa never fails to impress. Service, food and ambiance are all well above local standards!
Great pasta and reasonable.
Had a reservation but was seated by the traffic area. 😞
The waiter and staff members were wonderful. Great service and delicious food!
Our favorite restaurant in the area. Delicious, generous portioned Italian dishes. Between 4:30 and 5:30 you can get an appetizer, main course, and dessert for $22. After dessert the waiter brought amaretto and biscotti free of charge.
We were greeted by the maitre’d. The restaurant was totally filled. We had reservations thru open table. The maitre’d was apologetic for having to keep us waiting on a cold night for a table o clear and offered us a complementary appetizer for keeping us waiting. This was unexpected and just delightfully. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter was 4 star -rated because he seemed overly busy and we did not have time to have a second wine when he came to the table to offer dessert. Otherwise I can’t remember having a more delicious and enjoyable evening at Trilussa. Can’t wait to return.
Very spacious booth seating! Great house Chardonnay and a generous pour! Lasagne was delicious!
Our first time, food was terrific and we had a wonderful time. Our Server was great.
Valentines Dinner with friends, service spot on. Meal good; not over the top but well presented.Veal parm with pasta; a little too salty Music great; ambience nice. Rose presentation nice touch; liquors on the House as well.
Great Valentine’s Day dinner. Seated right on time for our reservation. Plenty of staff so no mix ups on a very busy night. Never felt rushed. Enjoyed a great meal
Great place for special occasions. Great food and service !!
I had reservation for 5:45 PM. Arrived early but was not able to be seated until after 6 PM. What is the purpose of reservations if not honored by the restaurant?
Service was slow to non- existent. Food was good but nothing to shout about. This was most likely our last trip to this Trilussa restaurant as many other Italian restaurants in the area.
Great food! Recommended by local as we were visiting Palm Springs from Sacramento area. We will definitely return when we go back to PS.
Beautiful food in a lovely setting. First rate service too!
The fresh warm bread and black olive tapenade was a delicious start, but from there it was just adequate. It was amusing to be asked if we wanted marinara sauce with the spaghetti and meatballs and then be told later it was a marinara with meat—uh Bolognese. We asked if we could get the Vodka sauce with spaghetti and meatballs, was told no, then saw on the menu that you could order the spaghetti with vodka sauce and add meatballs or chicken. Waiter did not know his menu. Caesar salad was kind of tasteless. If they split it for you it’s a $3 charge, so just get an extra plate. The meatballs were rather mushy. Chicken piccata had two tiny pieces of chicken in fairy greasy sauce. Good live music up front. Felt like an ok Italian chain restaurant.
disappointing service very slow and not at all attentive, table request away from the front door and music was not honored
Recommended by someone else and we were not disappointed. By the looks of it reservations would be wise. We will go again!
Basic Italian fare but foodies will be disappointed. Like many places in the Valley it's really a bar masquerading as a restaurant. Service is decent, and they have ample parking, although handicapped access could be better.
Great ambience and food!
