We were greeted by the maitre’d. The restaurant was totally filled. We had reservations thru open table. The maitre’d was apologetic for having to keep us waiting on a cold night for a table o clear and offered us a complementary appetizer for keeping us waiting. This was unexpected and just delightfully. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter was 4 star -rated because he seemed overly busy and we did not have time to have a second wine when he came to the table to offer dessert. Otherwise I can’t remember having a more delicious and enjoyable evening at Trilussa. Can’t wait to return.
Very spacious booth seating! Great house Chardonnay and a generous pour! Lasagne was delicious!
Our first time, food was terrific and we had a wonderful time. Our Server was great.
Valentines Dinner with friends, service spot on. Meal good; not over the top but well presented.Veal parm with pasta; a little too salty Music great; ambience nice. Rose presentation nice touch; liquors on the House as well.
Great Valentine’s Day dinner. Seated right on time for our reservation. Plenty of staff so no mix ups on a very busy night. Never felt rushed. Enjoyed a great meal
Great place for special occasions. Great food and service !!
I had reservation for 5:45 PM. Arrived early but was not able to be seated until after 6 PM. What is the purpose of reservations if not honored by the restaurant?
Service was slow to non- existent. Food was good but nothing to shout about. This was most likely our last trip to this Trilussa restaurant as many other Italian restaurants in the area.
Great food! Recommended by local as we were visiting Palm Springs from Sacramento area. We will definitely return when we go back to PS.
Beautiful food in a lovely setting. First rate service too!
The fresh warm bread and black olive tapenade was a delicious start, but from there it was just adequate. It was amusing to be asked if we wanted marinara sauce with the spaghetti and meatballs and then be told later it was a marinara with meat—uh Bolognese. We asked if we could get the Vodka sauce with spaghetti and meatballs, was told no, then saw on the menu that you could order the spaghetti with vodka sauce and add meatballs or chicken. Waiter did not know his menu. Caesar salad was kind of tasteless. If they split it for you it’s a $3 charge, so just get an extra plate. The meatballs were rather mushy. Chicken piccata had two tiny pieces of chicken in fairy greasy sauce. Good live music up front. Felt like an ok Italian chain restaurant.
