Trilussa Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Lovely restaurant with a lively atmosphere and a large menu with many options. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was served hot and was well-prepared and very good. It’s not cheap, but value is good and it’s not in the outrageously expensive arena. Centrally located for much of the Valley.
We are always pleased with a visit to this place ! We had guests in from Boston and let me tell you... Bostonians like their Italian cuisine. The restaurant has nade some wonderful imprivements by adding outdoor dining tables with glass surround and fire pit.
The staff is awesome - the cooks know what they are doing and it tastes as delicious as always !
Trilussa is a destination restaurant for us. We stop in Cathedral City on our way to Phoenix just so we can go to Trilussa, which we "accidentally" discovered 3 years ago. As usual, the food was exceptional on our recent visit. Our waitperson seemed to be overtasked with too many tables to take care of. There was a rather long gap between the time we finished our main course and when the waitperson reappeared to take our dessert order. There was an attempt to make up for the long wait by bringing a complimentary liquer for each of us along with biscotti to accompany our delicious spumoni. We'll keep returning to Trilussa.
Ate dinner on the patio which was very enjoyable. The food and service were excellent. It is a great value and the food is much better than a number of Italian restaurants that are much more expensive. They also have a great happy hour and often have live music.
i celebrated my 66th birthday and could not have picked a better restaurant. Had not eaten there in a while and was happy to find the prefix menu. The choices were excellent and continue to enjoy the amaretto and biscotti at the finish. Superb dining at it's finest.
Respected reservation as madrvvGood service. Menu A bit smaller than it used to be though things can be ordered that were not on the menu. Portions have become a bit smaller. All in all, though, still an excellent restaurant and one of my favorites. I was just as happy not to have the music present during our meal as it made it easier to have conversation.
I've been going to this restaurant for years but it has gone noticeably down hill of late. For some reason, it's like a kindergarten even late in the evening (making it difficult to have a relaxing dinner). The food seems to be prepared with less care with two of the same dishes containing very different portions and preparations. This Saturday night, a simple request to our server to substitute broccoli for asparagus became a twenty minute argument. On that note, over the several years we've been going here the ONLY vegetable they have ever served is asparagus. For years! I have nothing against asparagus but would it hurt to "change it up" once in while? I mean, try another vegetable - at least once every six months for some variety. Does the owner have a cousin in the asparagus business!?
