Great menu selection very welcoming staff, excellent homemade bracciol
Good meal, very friendly and a nice place to go. Reasonably priced too.
Good food. Best service I have ever had. The entire staff was so friendly and all wished myself and my mother a happy mother's day.
Food was delivered fast and promptly. Large serving sizes and good for the price. The bathrooms were a step up from a gas but the private parking was a plus.
Nothing special, very pleasant and attentive service. It was fine, nothing more, nothing less.
Excellent service and authentic tasting Italian food. The stuffed fresh mozzarella appetizer is a must try. Great place for a date that won't break the bank. Will visit again soon.
What a delight! A real family owned-operated business. The meals were fabulous, served by friendly attentive servers. Our selections were classic- cheese ravioli, eggplant parmagiano, meatballs.
I used to go here all the time with my family when I was younger. I hadn’t been there in years but it was just as I remembered. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! We will be back soon!
My girlfriend and I had a girls night out planned and she recommended this great Italian restaurant that she and her parents used to go to when she was a child. I must say I was very impressed with both the atmosphere and the cuisine. Everything that we tried was excellent. You can definitely tell that this is an authentic Italian restaurant and that everything is home-made. My friend even ordered a salad for take-out to go right before we left and the server was very accommodating, and it looked fabulous. I would highly recommend Trieste for families, couples or girls just wanting a delicious night out.
Great old school Italian!- lpved the pasta dishes especially the clam sauce!
Very nice place tucked away in Prospect Park. Much more than what you might expect for a typical neighborhood Italian restaurant. The staff is friendly and fun, the food it traditional and very good. It is a little cramped but it wasn't crowded on a Tues night so it was fine Prices were very reasonable and there was plenty of off street parking . We will be back (there were six of us)!
I stopped in because I had been stuck at work late and needed dinner ASAP. I hadn’t been to Trieste in quite a few years and was happily brought back to my childhood trips here. Service is always warm and friendly, food is classic Italian-American, and well made. I don’t normally like going out to eat alone, but I have to say I felt right at home here. Trieste has been a staple for Delaware county for years, and I hope to continue visiting for years to come!
GREAT SERVICE FOOD WAS AMAZING 5 STARS WE TRAVEL FROM FAR NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA A FEW TIMES A YEAR TO DINE HERE
The atmosphere is warm and the service is outstanding. The food is wonderful. I entertain business c!ients and everyone request to return to Trieste once they visit.
Good food at a reasonable price!
Good food and pasta, very nice service, gracious hosts (owners). Good value.
We were searching for a local Italian Restaurant and came across Trieste Italian Restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. It is family owned and run. The food was spectacular and the service was very attentive. Really glad that I found this place.
We come far northeast philly to eat here great place
I'm not sure why this restaurant received such excellent reviews. The food was mediocre at best. We all got salads with our main courses, and the toppings were canned (beets, olives) and the lettuce wilted. The main courses were flavorless, though the tomato sauce was decent.
Needed a spot close to the Philadelphia airport, great food and service, loved our waitress would definitely go back!!!!
Great service, good food!
There's a reason a place stays around that was founded in 1960...good food, good service and a good value. Our server, Debbie, was more than pleasant and accommodating and took very good care of us.
If you're not craving the fancy and trendy- go to Trieste! You won't be disappointed.
We are from out of town. I made reservations, attended our event and my party of 6 which included 3 of Italian descent had a wonderful meal, kind friendly service in a very comfortable cozy setting. Even ran into our old parish priest there getting dinner! I will go back! Debra and the other ladies were so good to us! It was a delicious meal and so many choices!
OK considering the location. Good service, generic Americanized Italian fare (heavy on the sauce, massive portions). Appetizers were good.
First time at the restaurant. Lots of great options and really like the mussels in red sauce. Chicken piccata had a bit too much sauce on it but spaghetti and meatballs was spot on .
Service was slow at best as waitress wasn't around to refill water and good timing was spaced out a good amount of time
I love this restaurant. I have been dining at this restaurant since I was a kid now I am 40. I brought my fiance there for the first time ever he is from Harrisburg he told me he loves this restaurant and would eat here again in a heart beat .
My daughter and I had a great meal and we could actually hear ourselves talking to each other. Food was fantastic!
Been coming here since I was little kid I love the food great service. And I live. Hour away
Trieste is our favorite restaurant in Delaware County, however we went there on Saturday for Mother's Day and it left a very bad taste in our mouths. We go there all the time and they always advertise an early bird menu. We can never eat our whole meal when we go there so we decided to order off of the early bird menu. When we asked for the early bird menu, we got snarled at and eyes rolled at us. It is clearly advertised outside, so I do not see why they seemed annoyed to give us that menu. Then, they never gave us the menus and only gave us the full price menus so we had to AGAIN ask our waitress to give them to us. She gave us them rolling her eyes, and we ordered off of that. We felt that we were being talked about like we were cheap and looked down at the whole time we were there. We actually know the owners and they did not even say hello to us as they always do. We felt that was very rude and just did not have a good experience as we always do. We order take-out there at least twice a month and go there frequently for dinner and also special occasions. I am very turned off, and that is a shame because as I said we go here frequently and even recommend it to everyone we know. I hope if and when we go back, we have a much better experience like we do every other time we go there.
All homemade. Prices very reasonable. Limited wine selection. Need more top quality wines
Great staff. Amazing food. Great conversation with owner.
Food was below average. The Shrimp parm was made with frozen butterfiied shrimp. Not authentic fresh italian. Meatball were also just Blah like everything else. Sorry, dont know who is reviewing these positive reviews. but i cant go back. Oh the salad was good!
Waitress was very interactive.... Great place to enjoy a holiday
Friendly staff. Good food. Good value. Fast service.
The ugly steak was amazing!!! The spaghetti tasted homemade.
Great service and meal
One of the best Italian resturants we have been to. The food is like home made. Now one of my all time favorites.
The service was fantastic. We're vegetarians and had no problem finding things to eat, as with most Italian restaurants. Vegans may have a tougher time but I imagine the eggplant fries we had could be ordered without the parm. Options would be limited for vegan customers, however. We had the pumpkin ravioli as well, a nice seasonal item, and the pasta was freshly made and delicious.
Great food and awesome local neighborhood feel.
