Sunday night dinner and only a few tables of people so made for an awkward experience- food was not quite up to the presentation levels I’ve had elsewhere in the city. Bread roll was like a brick and only offered one- no mention or offer for more drinks or bread. Dessert was the savior of the evening.
Good food and nice atmosphere
It was my second visit. I had forgotten how noisy it is. The accustics are poor and having a normal conversation is difficult when the restaurant is full. For some that may be the right vibe. The service was pretty slow, they forgot a before dinner drink and had to be reminded of orders twice. With the selection in NYC I do not think Tribeca Grill does a good enough job.
We ate at Tribeca Grill on a quiet Sunday night and whilst the atmosphere was lacking due to only a handful of diners present the food and the service were amazing! The value for money is fantastic and I would whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful wine list, consistently great food. Busy place so go early if you want choice of tables. I have been dining there for 20 years. I go every time I’m in NYC.
I am an original guest of this restaurant, since it's opening in 1990.
My wife and I decided to go here for our anniversary dinner, as it has always been a real "pleaser"
I must say in all my years dinning here, this was the first time I was disappointed with my meal .
The Grilled Octopus was outstanding as was The Arugula & Buffalo Mozzarella Salad.
My wife had The Roasted Halibut, which was properly prepared. I had ordered The Grilled Berkshire Pork Porterhouse, which was too dry ( over cooked). The table next to ours, also had the Pork Chop, which was over cooked as well.
First time in in 28 years is totally excusable..... Hopefully my comments to the kitchen was shared.
We will be back.....
Excellent food in the heart of Tribeca - not cheap but the service, ambience and quality of the food is second to none.
Too many waiters, not sure who was our waiter at any given time
Excellent food and service. Wine by the glass is limited and wine list is pricy and without recognizeable brands to those of us who do not wish to spend $100 or more on a bottle we might not like. Martinis are excellent though!
Excellent food and service!! A Manhattan gem with an outstanding wine list, too.
Not a lot of atmosphere but it was a Sunday night so ok . Food pretty average for the money which we thought was a lot . Service a bit slow and not very attentive with our requests for things forgotten.
Girls trip to the tv festival
Thank you to Pavel and the other wait staff for their excellent service. The wait staff was patient and did not rush us out... the food wad delicious. Also, the staff surprised me with a birthday cake... thank you!
One of the worst meals I have ever had in 20 years of living in NYC. The squid ink fettuccini with Calamari was awful. My wife ordered the tagliatelle and could not eat more than one bite. We left after 20 minutes. Even the chicken fingers we ordered for our daughter she wouldn’t eat and she is not a picky eater.
Went on recommendation lovely evening sat outside which was peaceful . Service was good food was very good. And the wine by glass menu good value. Entrees of the beets was very tasty . Would def make the effort to return .
Excellent meal, staff is fantastic. Special touch is manager checks on you during your time there.
I had a nice starter. My steak was almost perfect. Almost. My guest had a weird spicy lamb & pasta dish. Best give it to Rover!
A beloved restaurant that has lost the edge.
Siempre volvemos para recordar el buen servicio y la buena comida que tienen.
Brought my girlfriend there the other night for her birthday and really enjoyed it! Amazing food. Great ambiance. Our server Michael was very friendly yet professional....also very knowledgeable regarding the food and wine options. Highly recommend to anyone.
This place was highly recommended, so we were looking forward to eating there. The room was very cold, the noise was extreme, the service was slow, and the food was too spicy. The brussel spouts, though, were delicious. I doubt that I would return to eat there again.
Inviting my wife, sister and my mother, who's a big Robert De Niro fan, to Tribeca Grill was one of the star moments of our wonderful holiday in Manhattan. Great food, and outstanding service. Definitely a restaurant to be visited again on our next stay in NY.
Surprisingly, it was not crowded so the noise level was reasonable. Dave’s Picks for wine gave reasonable alternatives to the list for those more sophisticated than myself. Reliable.
My third visit here. Always great. Took friends who have never been.
Brilliant welcome, wonderful personal service and the food was amazing as well as the wine. The place never fails to disappoint. Par excellence!
Food was average but the noise level was very high. Difficult to have conversations with people at the table llamas had to yell.
Special occasion for my husbands 70th birthday also came for his 65th birthday. Friends and my husband had lamb strips unfortunately not many lamb strips. Very expensive, although my husband had a slice of cake with a candle on the house, perhaps a drink with had been very appreciated .
Everything was perfect- especially the desert!!! One of our all time favourite!!!!
Past it’s prime. Completely empty on Sun eve. Not the buzzy atmosphere it was historically credited with at all. Good service but food was ok not amazing. Great service though. Friends birthday and they were very nice and brought her a dessert.
Great night with friends. Was able to get a last minute reservation online. Bar scene before dinner was good too.
Had a nice meal in a nice environment.
Nice setting, atmosphere and neighborhood. Fantastic wine list. Knowledgeable somellier. Good food. Service a bit slow at times although restaurant less than half empty. But worth a visit.
We had a wonderful dinner with an amazing server. I wish I could remember her name...she’s from Newport Beach. She was very friendly and so accommodating! We had the duck, which was perfectly cooked! Crispy skin, tender meat! We also had the shellfish bucatini which was great as well. The wine suggested was excellent and my husband loved the chocolate cake! They were also kind enough to make us affogatos!!
Visited whilst on holiday in New York. From arrival to leaving we had a great experience. Food and service was outstanding ... ambience wonderful. It was our wedding anniversary and we received two glasses of champagne 'on the house'. Would go again and definitely recommend to friends. Only drawback ? ..... 'Bob' didn't pop in ..... would loved to have met him !!
Zum Tribeca Grill kommen wir gerne wieder. Das Essen war wieder ausgezeichnet.
Excellent service and food was great. Would go back next time I’m in NY.
Great atmosphere, adequate level of noise, superb service.
Surprised to see that The restaurant was almost empty on a friday night
Great service from start to finish which is the very first thing I look for in a restaurant.
I ordered the grilled octopus and I received one small tentacle at $14- really? The crab cake was very good!
While I understand the place needs to make $, but common!
The service was very good!
