We stayed at The Henry Autograph Hotel which is an elegant artsy boutique hotel. This restaurant in the hotel is beautiful as actually has 5 star Menu. My husband ordered the lamb which was very good and I order the bone in filet which was seasoned wonderfully. I would highly recommend eating here if you do not want to venture out upon arriving at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was a full buffet with a large selection of fruits, omelettes to order, meats, oatmeal with many toppings. A 4 star buffet in a beautiful new kitchen. A great way to use your annual Marriott Free night voucher is to stay at the The Henry and enjoy dinner at this restaurant.
Liked the vibe of the restaurant and menu selection. Had great service at first. When we received our food the plates were hot but the food on the plates was only warm at best. We said nothing because it was a late night and we didn’t want to send it back. Also the lamb my husband ordered was tough. Though not hot, my sweet potato gnocchi was very tasty. We were going to order dessert but the waiter took much too long to answer a question.
I went there with a close friend and we usually talk a lot and for a long time but we noticed the food was coming out pretty slow. Which doesn’t bother me. The waitress was a petite blond and she was an EXCELLENT waitress and was very knowledgeable of the menu! People were complaining about the open cooking area which brought smoke into the dining area, it didn’t bother me at all, but my friend and the table next to us complained. The chef seemed to know what he was doing! The mimosas were strong and very very good I recommend you get one. I would definitely go there again!
While the restaurant provided good service, my drink was made wrong. We came on Christmas day and they only had the lunch menu which was heavy on fish, my family doesn't eat fish so we were very disappointed. My French dip was dry and I didn't care for the cheese, nor did I like the aju that came with it. My sister loved her chicken salad, her husband thought his tuna was ok, while my niece didn't eat her sandwich at all. Over all the restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, quiet, and peaceful. I would like to try their dinner menu, the lunch was a very big disappointment.
Great find inside of The Henry. My wife and I ate dinner here twice recently during a 2 might stay at hotel. Not cheap, but we had the same waiter both nights and he gave us great recommendations. It was a cold November day and the tomato and onion soups were great. First night we split a 12 ounce rib eye that was super. We had the roasted cauliflower one night and the roast brussel spouts the next - both we very tasty (we liked the spouts). Wine list is big (some bargains and then some way to over priced to think about - we know our wine prices). We did not have desert so can not remark on that. I would recommend this place for a special event. Oh ya, the tables near the bar can get a little loud, so move to the back for more quite time.
The ambiance was very nice, consisting of hospitable and professional staff members! I wasn't enthused about the food as most of the items I ordered were a little too rich for my palate. However, the desserts, specifically the key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake, were amazing. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others for cocktails and desserts. My birthday was well celebrated at this beautiful venue!!
Although the Resturant is undergoing a remodel. The service and food were still first class. The new surrounding and menu should make this a new go-to place in the neighborhood. I remember back in the day when the Hotel resturant was the place to go for special occasions. The Tria could be one of those places again
As other reviewers have said, pricing is a bit high for quantity of food. That being said though the foo that we did get was good. Shrimp, friend cheese, lamb chops and crab cakes. Brussels sprouts were a nice portion and very tasty. Service was outstanding!
