Great find inside of The Henry. My wife and I ate dinner here twice recently during a 2 might stay at hotel. Not cheap, but we had the same waiter both nights and he gave us great recommendations. It was a cold November day and the tomato and onion soups were great. First night we split a 12 ounce rib eye that was super. We had the roasted cauliflower one night and the roast brussel spouts the next - both we very tasty (we liked the spouts). Wine list is big (some bargains and then some way to over priced to think about - we know our wine prices). We did not have desert so can not remark on that. I would recommend this place for a special event. Oh ya, the tables near the bar can get a little loud, so move to the back for more quite time.

The ambiance was very nice, consisting of hospitable and professional staff members! I wasn't enthused about the food as most of the items I ordered were a little too rich for my palate. However, the desserts, specifically the key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake, were amazing. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others for cocktails and desserts. My birthday was well celebrated at this beautiful venue!!

Although the Resturant is undergoing a remodel. The service and food were still first class. The new surrounding and menu should make this a new go-to place in the neighborhood. I remember back in the day when the Hotel resturant was the place to go for special occasions. The Tria could be one of those places again

Staying at the Henry Hotel. Service, food, drinks are excellent. Worth the trip if you are not staying in the hotel. Ambiance and decorations excellent but the noise level just a tad higher than I like. Overall A+

My three friends and I were very much pleased with the service and our dinners from Tria on Labor Day. We had martinis that were perfect, and our dinners were outstanding. Michael, our server, was excellent.

As other reviewers have said, pricing is a bit high for quantity of food. That being said though the foo that we did get was good. Shrimp, friend cheese, lamb chops and crab cakes. Brussels sprouts were a nice portion and very tasty. Service was outstanding!

The restaurant was great! It was really empty with only a few guests. I don't know if that was a good thing. I had the sockeye salmon and it was amazing. The cocktails were a bit overpriced but overall I would go again.

I dont eat meat so I ordered the salmon burger twice now, and was very disappointed both times.. It tasted fishy and was too salty. My friend ordered a regular burger and it was fine. I mainly ate the side salad and the popovers. Our service was good, so I will just have to give up on the salmon burger and go for the salad next time.

We have been to Tria before and enjoyed it. This time was slightly different as we went on Memorial day, so very few people were dining out. The normally loud atmosphere was very quite and made the dining experience much more enjoyable for my wife and I. Food was very good as always and Paul are waiter was great.

This is not a place I would recommend unless you are snowed in at the hotel. We had a convention type group in the hotel. Friday night was this dinner and they had 2 servers. There were only 4 of us. We ordered salads and soup and our entre. 45 minutes later out comes the entre. We got on the waiter about it and he said he would get us another server. Really? There was only one other server there. The manager had to finish serving us for the evening. The food was nothing to write home about. Just a warning, the menu listed in open table is not the menu they had. "The chef likes to change the menus often", says the hostess. Not for the better.

The food was great but the service was not, the waiter was very dull no personality, didn't make me feel special didn't come check up on us until the very end, I only tipped him because I feel everyone deserves a tip for their work, but the amount is based off the effort they put in, and unfortunately there was no effort.

This was my 1st time here, and I selected it for an business meeting. Service was great, decor was very nice, and the food was excellent. I had the seared Salmon on a bed of Risotto and it was outstanding. The noise level is nice and low, easy to chat and have a good conversation without issue. I would recommend this for really anyone or any event.

Tria's dishes are some of the best I have ever eaten. I had the tomatoe bisque for a starter and apple crusted white fish for dinner with potatoes and brussel sprouts with an amazing sauce. For dessert we had creme brûlée. Incredible with fresh fruit on top.
The meal was so good we went back for lunch the next day. The Henry Burger was highly recommended and it was great. I will definitely be back and bring a lot of family and friends to experience this gem of a restaurant. Chef Rob was kind to come out and talk to us. What a joy!

When we arrived, the dining room only had 2 seated tables, but we still waited several minutes before a host appeared. It wasn't actually a host, but a waiter who stepped in to seat us. The menus are loaded into electronic tablets, which offers some cool features like smart organization and hi-res pictures of food when you click.

Things went downhill once we sat. I ordered an African beef and chick pea soup, but was brought cream of mushroom soup, which I wouldn't have wanted. Turns out the digital menus were out of date, which defeats the purpose of having digital menus! The waiter was also misinformed, and took my order anyway. I probably would have shrugged it off if the waiter had come back out and said the soup was not available. However, either he or the kitchen decided to substitute my soup for another, which is unforgivable. When it was brought out by a food runner, I asked if it was the soup I ordered and he seemed to think so, but we flagged down another waiter and he knew what had happened right away. I substituted the French onion soup, but I didn't really want any of the other soups. I picked another soup bc I was hungry and didn't want to wait more for an app to be prepared.

Our own waiter was very scarce. He came to apologize after the other waiter took my wrong soup away. Then, he did not return for a long time. My drink was finished and I would have ordered another, but he never returned.

For my entree, I ordered the Michigan spiced half chicken. It looked wonderful, and had a great spice rub, but no flavor within the meat. Dark meat was bland and white meat was dry. Overall under-salted (no salt?). It was served on raw purple carrots and yogurt, which was also underspiced/salted.

My wife ordered a fancy salad and the salmon and loved her dishes, which is why I wasn't harder star-wise on the food, but the service was definitely under-par, especially for a dinner for two that came to $80+ with only one drink ordered. I would not return.

Arrived as tourists, visiting The Henry Ford Museum, and left our dinning experiences feeling like locals that have dinned many times. We have stayed at many hotels and found our dinning experience at Tria to standout amongst the rest. The menu offerings appealed to all of our family at breakfast and dinner and the tipping point that kept us dinning in the hotel was the service provided by our server at breakfast and dinner - both worked hard to make us happy. The staffed helped us navigate our daughters allergies and when we experienced issues with our food at dinner they were quickly addressed and owned by our server Paul and were resolved quickly. Our visit and experience were better because of the Tria staff -- thank you.
