Tria Restaurant, Bar & Event Center
The ambiance was very nice. Dim lite, quiet. The food was spectacular. We even requested a couple of menu modifications and that was no problem. Our server was prompt, friendly and efficient. It was our anniversary so she added desert ant champagne as well. Will definitely return.
Fantastic food. We both had tornados. Wife had salid. I had a a very good mushroom soup.
We enjoyed our Sunday evening dinner, but noted some things that did not meet our anticipations from previous dinners there. The bread basket contained only bread, not any of the seeded crackers we have enjoyed in the past, and the mixed greens salad did not have the sliced fennel described in the menu (which has happened on some other occasions). We noted some changes to the menu, which is to be expected, but my husband and I found the changes to the scallop entree from cous-cous to risotto to be less appealing upon trying it. Also found out the Apple Cinnamon Cobbler we’d planned on for dessert was not available, because they do not serve it on Sundays due to the morning brunch. Will definitely go back, but will probably avoid Sunday evenings.
We wanted a place for family to gather to honor my Mom who passed away last fall and whose birthday we were celebrating. We were a party of 7.
The restaurant was easy to find and very gorgeous. Just a fun place to walk into. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. Everyone was satisfied with their meal from appetizer to dessert. We will definitely be returning!
The food was good but nothing special or over the top excellent. The service was a little erratic and we were seated near the kitchen and it was not a peaceful environment.
Delicious food and our waiter nick was fabulous! He made the whole dining experience better. We all finished our dinner and many had dessert.
We brought my mom to Tria for her birthday as it’s her favorite restaurant. The service was great, the food was outstanding, everyone enjoyed their meal. We love the menu as there are so many options. We had a wonderful evening, thank you!
Very high quality cuisine, although I think the chef or server was off for our visit with several misses and mistakes. Usually this is a great spot with thoughtful dishes. Also, we were seated by the kitchen which is extremely noisy but the other parts of the restaurant are a little better. The patio is great when open too.
The Birthday wine offer is an excellent value. There are so many great options for food I had a tough time deciding on what to order. I picked the pot pie. It was excellent. My wife picked the evening fish special. That too was excellent. The food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. We were seated in a booth for the first time. I really liked the booth. We had a very enjoyable birthday celebration dinner. P.S. the night before we also ate a Tria. We enjoyed the bar area and the Sun all day happy hour. We ordered 3 items off the happy hour menu they were excellent.
My husband & I frequent Tria a LOT ~ last Saturday I brought my son & his girlfriend for dinner. The bar was full & restaurant had many open tables at 5:30pm I checked in with the host (who happened to be the GM) & he said he couldn't seat, they are full unless we had a reservation. We left & in the car I went on Open Table & learned there were many open reservations at 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, etc. ~ I made a reservation at 5:45pm & returned to the restaurant. The Host said Open Table is wrong & after much discussion he sat us (by the kitchen but at least we got a table). We love the Tria & were disappointed during this visit.
The brunch was most enjoyable. Great service, delicious food choices and lovely ambiance.
Went with friends for restaurant week. The mushroom soup was divine, all the entrees delicious and dessert was excellent! We chose a terrific bottle of wine. The server was top notch, so I will hope to return soon, and highly recommend.
The food here is excellent. We started with the crab cake and it was so creamy and filled with bright delicious crab... tasted like there were no bread crumbs for filler - lovely. I ordered the ribeye - delicious and my husband got the scallops - also delicious. We each tried a veggie side: corn succotash and roasted Brussels sprouts - both sides were exceptional. We thought the scallops were overpriced - $28 for 3 not huge normal-sized scallops - wow. Thought for that size & price there should have been 5 or 6. Startlingly small portion for the price. Our waiter was nice & professional. We were seated at a table off in the corner so we could not enjoy the views or fireplace, etc. also, as we were finishing up, a group was seated near us that had moved from the bar area - they were so loud it hurt our ears - we hurried to pay the bill and leave. Overall, we’re glad we tried it and it was a nice place to celebrate my birthday!!
Great food and service
Really nicely plated Sunday Brunch. The food was very good, portions not very big. Lovely, quiet dining room. My one complaint was the surcharge that was added on the bill to supplement employee costs. I am all for tipping for good service, and I do. But I am losing respect for restaurants that cannot manage their own costs and wind up adding yet another charge on to the bill to cover them. It just appears to be another way to nickel and dime your customers.
Enjoyed dinner greatly, had a bit of a wait to pay the bill, but otherwise no complaints.
The band was so loud it made conversation all but impossible and we were not even seated in the same room. Atmosphere was unlike Tria as I have known it in the past.
Tria is always our favorite "go-to" place for date night, with family and with friends.
I love the atmosphere at Tria The patio is so relaxing and the bar happy hour is a real deal.....
However if you want to eat in the dining room that is just fine...... the country french atmosphere just fits with the surrounding North Oaks country
It was the first time that we sat on patio. It was lovely. Nicholas our waiter was so helpful with suggestions and service. What a hard worker and he even took his time and was relaxed while working efficiently.
Had great service, wonderful food, came as ordered and at just the right pace.
Great food! Great service!
Always great food and great service. Love the unique ingredients and meal selections. My wife and I have enjoyed anniversaries, birthdays, date night and our sons grooms dinner at Tria and all have been memorable for the food and service. Beautiful restaurant.
delightful evening .... great service..... we'll be back
Always great staff and great food!
We really enjoyed our dinner on Sunday. Exceptional service. I totally enjoyed the King Salmon. Never heard of Wheat Berries before. Enjoyed that with the rice. And please...please...keep that cookie on the dessert menu. Tim and I had a great time sharing that dessert.
Great ambience and service. Nice wine choices and overall wide menu selection. We had one outstanding meal, one decent and the other marginal. The patio was very nice. Overall 4 stars.
Nice ambiance. Fries are good. Steak was tough and chewy. Seafood Louie salad is terrible.
The food was wonderful. We also went to hear the trio play on the patio. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely recommend to friends.
The patio is beautiful! The food was very good, but Sea Bass was bit salty. Everything else seemed to be good. The service was outstanding!
I had the most wonderful brunch with my two amazing sons outside on an absolutely perfect day with delicious food! Even though our umbrella flew into the air, it was perfect! We will be back!
The server John, fantastic!
Service was excellent, food delicious - looking forward to going there again soon!
Terrific find. Exceeded our expectations!!
The staff was great! As always. We have never had a bad experience at Tria. I think that was our fourth or fifth time there in 2019!
Celebrating my birthday with friends! It was perfect! Amazing food... awesome patio... perfect weather!
Erica, our server was the key to having a wonderful birthday dinner!
Food, wine and dessert were just perfect.
We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary and my sister and her husband’s 38th
We had the salmon over cauliflower puree and the scallops. Both were outstanding. Also added a beet salad and a mixed green salad. Again, both outstanding. The patio is so lovely!
Delicious food in a quiet, lovely atmosphere. True class!
