Trevi's - Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate Ratings and Reviews
Christmas Day buffet was great with lots of choices so everyone found something they liked. The best item was the freshly made donuts with Carmel sauce, enjoyed by everyone. All you can drink champagne and mimosas were a big hit. Our sever was Rob who was very attentive, and friendly.
Great service. Ask for Mimi - great waitress. Very good food. Decent value. We had plenty to take home for lunch for tomorrow. I recommend the gnocchi and the filets, which are the 2 meals we chose. Bread was amazing. You'll want seconds AND thirds. Open ambiance was not quite as romantic as I hoped, but that is not anything "wrong" per se.
We were blown away by the selection and variety. For the breakfast buffet, not only does Trevi's have all the staples (pancakes, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, etc.), but they have an omelette bar where they make whatever kind of omelette you like, and for bread and biscuits they have a butter bar (with 4 different types of butters), a honey bar (6 or so different kinds), and a jam/jelly bar (6 or so different kinds).
Only nit to pick was that some of the food seemed to have gotten cold (like the gravy I got for my biscuits). Otherwise, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.
Food was excellent. Good sized portions. Wait staff was excellent. Always made sure we had everything we needed. It was quite loud on our visit. There was a large group and they were drinking and partying it up. The kids were well behaved. The adults were not.
My wife & I went for our 1 year Anniversary. The staff was really nice and knew of our special evening. The food we had was good and again the team there was very accommodating. We would recommend. It has a very nice atmosphere, but it did not have an intimate or romantic feel to it. Seems great for families as well. We did enjoy ourselves and would go back : )
A big Thank You to the staff there !!! : )
very disappointing from right after we sat down. No one came for 15 minutes then we flagged someone to order wine and were told they put us the wrong section. The place was half empty? The sever assured us she would be attentive but we were always looking for her. Then at the end after i had paid i realized she had not brought my credit card and I had to find her and follow her through the restaurant to find out who had it. The food was good but not that good to make up for the service.
Oustanding breakfast buffet with quality ingredients throughout. Service is excellent and staff is more than friendly and accomodating. We will be back for the pancakes, breakfast meat selections, southern style grits, biscuits and omellette bar. Allie the omellette maker is an asset to the team!
Great breakfast buffet. A lot of choices and very nicely laid out. It is one of the best that we have been to and really enjoyed it. They also had several gluten free options, breads, granola and muffins which was great! Our server was very friendly and helpful, making sure my son got chocolate chip pancakes which were not on the buffet!
This was one of the best dining experiences of my lifetime. The food was incredible and the staff treated me and my wife as King and Queen. When we made reservations, my wife mentioned it was for our anniversary. When we arrived, they had prepared a quiet table for us, decorated with a floral centerpiece and petals on the tablecloth. On her initial call, my wife had inquired as to whether they had outside dining. As if the table they had prepared for us was not enough, they told us they had set up an outside table as well, in case we wanted to dine outside. I have eaten in many fine restaurants, but have rarely experienced treatment as we received here. I cannot say enough about this facility and the staff. I normally leave a fine dining facility wondering why I paid so much for a meal. This was likely the largest bill I have ever received for a dinner for 2, and it was worth every penny. I was generous with my tip and yet I felt it wasn't enough for the experience they provided.
At the end of our meal they brought us a complimentary dessert and a split of champagne, neither of which had been requested or expected. You might expect a small piece of complimentary cake or other dessert, which would have been more than thoughtful, but this dessert was a multi-layered chocolate cake, with several beautiful chocolate covered strawberries all highlighted with a piece of chocolate imprinted with "Happy Anniversary". We were completely blown away. It was truly a magical evening. They created a once in a lifetime experience for us ... and all we expected was a nice meal in a pleasant atmosphere.
Have to admit it was Mother's Day. But we sat and waited close to an hour then I went to the hostess and she said she would address it and we just continued to wait with waiters just passing us. I would have walked out but my husband refused. Will think before making another brunch
I was staying at the hotel for a business conference. I took two clients to dinner here. Even though when I tried to make a reservation, I was told that they had no availability at the times I wanted within two hours comma when we arrived with a much smaller party at the designated time the entire restaurant was empty. Literally, there was maybe 5 tables of guests. The service was very slow and the server was not knowledgeable about the food. The food was very mediocre. Some of the worst tiramisu I had ever had. I did eat there for breakfast twice and both times the food was delicious. Had lunch there one time and my food was terrible
Service was remarkably bad. We had to ask for water refills, bread and pasta spoons. Also never offered dessert or coffee. Veal and chicken dishes, which read very differently in menu appeared to be the same dish just different meat. So similar that the server had to call the waiter to ask which was which. Very disappointing for a nice hotel.
Valentine day visit. This restaurant needs an overhaul. It's tired and lacks ambience. It's also overpriced. My steak was not good but no offer to change it. Just a shrug of the shoulders from our server. Would not go here again.
Where do I start? Slow initial response to being seated. The restaurant was nearly empty. When a server finally arrived, he had no personality at all.
Very indifferent in his approach to taking the drink order. No setups. We had to ask for them. We had to ask for bread. Salad order was messed up. Had to flag a different server, as our's had blinders on.
Salads were good when finally corrected.
Noise level was very high. Seemed the staff thought it appropriate to hoop and holler, and joke around. So loud you could hear them anywhere in the dining room.
When the entree' s arrived, we had to ask for silverware again, as it had been taken with the salad plates. the steaks were overcooked and the Italian chicken dish was drowned in sauce. Looked like the chicken had been boiled. Tasteless. Server was too busy to hail, so we ate the food as served.
Desserts were tasty, but terrible service, poor food preparation, disorganization, noise all took a toll on our experience.
The best thing about our dining experience, was exiting the restaurant.
We will never dine at this Omni Resort again.
We were taking friends out to thank them and when I went on line to look at the menu, I was happy to see all that was available on the dinner menu. When we arrived, they had a casual buffet set up and a lunch menu. I was a little bit disappointed as we wanted to take them to a fancier place but it was nice and we all enjoyed the hotel and the atmosphere and the food.
Dined three times at Trevi's .Meals were never prepared as ordered.Manager was kind enough to adjust the bill ,as our meals were sent back several times.Atmosphere is incredibly loud as there are usually large parties with children.Food, once prepared correctly, was good.
I can't believe we waited so long to visit this restaurant! The food was outstanding, the atmosphere beautiful, and the staff was awesome! Especially our waitress Sarah. She was extremely attentive, and very pleasant! We will definitely be returning again and again!
Had a great dinner although our waiter was a bit off. Uncorked the wine and just poured it without anyone tasting it. (Maybe because it was a screw-top?) Food was awesome, love the bread and roasted garlic they bring to the table. It was quiet for a Friday night and not too busy so conversation was easy at the table. Would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion; we will be back!
