My husband and I stopped in after church on Sat. evening. Skip and Chickie, a classic rock duo, were entertaining. I had lamb chops and artichokes, very tasty, while my husband had linguine and clams, all gone. The music was upbeat and fun, it set a very enjoyable atmosphere. I'm not sure who deserves the most credit, the music or the food. I'll call it a draw and simply say, they complemented each other. Based on this experience, I would recommend Trevi to a friend.
Will not go back....We went here for my husband's birthday which I listed on the resrvation and told our waitress---there was NO acknowledgement made of it. Crab cakes were very salty---I do not recommend. Salad was overpriced. SERVICE was SLOOOOW! Owner or manager argued with us at our table over a groupon. She created an uncomefortable scene for us, herself and teh patrons nearby which was VERY unprofessional no matter whaat teh situation was. She made no attempt to resolve. Won't be back or recommend.
Trevi is a cosy neighbourhood spot in Glenside where the old Rizzo's pizzeria used to be. It's our go-to restaurant before we go to the Keswick theatre. We tend to arrive early, bring our own wine and take our time before the show.
My wife and I split the fried calamari appetizer, fresh squid, batter dipped, fried just right and served with a spicy marinara. It was delicious. I had a Caesar salad; chilled, fresh and just enough garlicky dressing.
For our entrees; I had the build your own pasta. Rigatoni, shrimp, spinach, mushrooms in the Fra Diavolo sauce, it was excellent. My wife had the chicken picatta; 3-4 thin pounded out chicken breasts in a wonderful lemon, white wine, caper sauce, it was served with roasted asparagus and fingerling potatoes, perfect for a cold February day. Our waiter Matthew was personable and efficient without hovering, he also enjoyed talking music with a couple of middle age rock fans.
Nice job Trevi!
I really enjoyed what I got from the menu (penne seafood Bolognese) . Would like to go back and try their delicious looking pizza's.
Everything about Trevi is great. The food was delicious and our server was amazing.
Reception/hostess greeting was nonexistent, no eye contact and no acknowledgement we were even there. We waited 10 minutes, even after we alerted another staff member we were waiting to be seated for our dinner reservation. It was as if we were invisible.
Table service was slow, however it was a busy, due to a show nearby.
Food was very good, however they really need to improve their service and people skills!
We went on last weekend with my wife and kids and even though they were without power for most of the day they opened for dinner to try to accommodate their customers. The food was great as always and the staff was very kind. Their Risotto is always awesome.
We had a great family dinner at Trevi's. The service was excellent and the food, especially appetizers, was very good. We had an unexpected treat of live music as well.
It was our second time and our waitress Jillian remembered our names , she was warm and friendly, Evan the owner came to our table. Our meals were perfect from the pizza ( thin and crispy ) to my chicken Marsala with gnocchi. Recommend to all my friends
Service was slow given we only ordered entrees; there was a 2-person band playing which wasn't too loud but enough to stop our conversations. However, the food was excellent; I had the salmon special; my wife has the sausage/chicken dish with gluten-free pasta - best pasta and sauce she's eaten in many years. Would definitely return again but would request not to be seated near the music.
Everything was great. We’ll definitely be back.
Food and service were great.
Another great meal with crab cakes for me and a seafood pasta for my hubby!! Good stuff!
Excellent food, good service ,excellent waitress . Very convenient parking
Fabulous homemade pasta dishes and pizzas. Great Value. BYOB
LOVE TREVI! Everything is made from scratch. We arrived with a five week old baby and they provided us with a sling to put the car seat in so he was eye level - allowed us to enjoy dinner and keep an eye on him.
Wait staff is very friendly and helpful.
Trevi is our go-to place for family special occasions. We celebrated my mother's birthday with family and delicious food. We enjoyed salads, pasta dishes, mussels and more. Everything was excellent. Cannoli and coffee for dessert. It was a perfect birthday celebration.
Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal !!! Delicious!!! We will back
There were 6 of us at a round table on the 2nd floor. It is so nice to have a round table. Wish there were more of them! Our waiter Luke has an excellent personality and wasn't shy about making some recommendations for dinner based on his favorites (or not but still made great suggestions). Our food was delivered together and was very hot - not luke warm like one dish had been sitting waiting for another to be completed! Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will return for sure.
Excellent meal, service was awesome. Matthew our server was very attentive. Large menu with a wide variety. Not being from the area we selected this location based on the reviews and it's proximity to where we would beating a show later in the evening. It did not disappoint.... highly recommend.
Our family gathers every First Friday for family dinner at Trevi. We have been doing this since 2011. The food is consistently fabulous. The feeling of being part of the Trevi family is lovely. Often you will see Gina making her way to greet the patrons, usually by name as many are regulars. Luke, our server, always knows what we like and makes suggestions accordingly. I love it here and Trevinis my go-to place when meeting up with friends as well.
Good food . Our server Matthew was very attentive and courteous. Enjoyed talking with him .
Ordered a Caesar salad and got of bowl of iceberg lettuce. When I mentioned it to the food server he said they weren't serving Romain lettuce because of recall. In that case you tell costumer there is no Caesar salad available, you don't serve them iceburg.
Great food, great service. We sampled a lot of different dishes with their "small plate" options that really aren't all that small. The seasonal risotto was outstanding, Chicken parm was crispy, meatballs were outstanding, the pastas were great portions and the service was outstanding.
We were looking for a local BYOB to go after Church on Sunday. The first place we looked at was not open on Sunday so decided on Trevi. What a cute place and the food was really good. We were not sure what to expect, but it was really nice. The food was good, the staff was really nice and we had a good time. We will definitely be back.
We went before seeing a show at the Keswick Theatre - 5 of us. GREAT food but they use a scratch kitchen, so they make everything to order. Takes a while to get food. We ordered from cheesesteak to an Italian seafood dinner. Sadly, our waiter was a little more interested in the EAGLES game then remembering our drink refills. Maybe that was ok?!
Excellent food, excellent service and excellent ambiance. Wonderful cozy atmosphere in this family run delicious local restaurant.
Decent food and they handled our party of 9 very well. Being a BYO is a plus.
I read many reviews before deciding to give Trevi a try & I was glad I did! Everything was great, service, food, byob. 😁 I made a 530pm reservation on open table for a pre 8pm show at the Keswick. I read others having to wait 1 1/2-2 hrs. for their meals, but they must have fixed that problem because our appy, meal, dessert & pizza to go was perfectly timed. I recently had foot surgery & needed a knee walker. Everyone was very kind & helpful. Just a side bar though, the bathroom is up 5 steps. All in all VERY happy with this local gem & I will be back! Merry Christmas all! 🎄
We returned to Trevi for dinner, and were pleasantly surprised to learn that they had live music this evening. The duo was excellent, and we enjoyed our Italian entrees and dessert.
We love Trevi!! Excellent food, excellent service
My date and I chose this place specifically because we had heard that the upper part was quiet and we wanted to have a private conversation. It was perfect the acoustics were great . Food was great and in generous portions -homemade meatballs , chicken parm, great bread- all delicious. Service was 1st class. Can’t wait to go back!
We love Trevi. It is a little bit of south Philly in the hart of glenside. The food is all made to order and very fresh. There pizza is great for an appetizer or meal and the pasta is excellent. I would highly recommend. We will be going back very soon.
A nice local casual italian - American restaurant. Service was great.
Nice quaint family run restaurant. Dined there for first time when in town going to Kesswick Theatre. Good menu with a nice variety. Service was fantastic and friendly. Anastasia was so friendly and helpful when asking lots of questions about the menu.
Portions were good size. Didn't have room for dessert but will try again. Lot's of good specials homemade by owner.
Trevi was Fantastic, as always!! Emma, our server, was incredible: super attentive, polite, and courteous. The food was delicious per usual! I’ve never had anything less than amazing from there. Everything is always fresh, hot, and delicious and the food is impeccable. It’s a neighborhood gem, cute, quaint, and BYOB- what could be better! Trevi is awesome. So glad it’s walking distance from home! (And the wine and spirit store!)
We were a group of 6 and we all enjoyed our meals. There was a lot of variety form pizza, to sandwiches to dinners. Our server was very good. Good neighborhood restaurant.
Girls night out before a show at the Keswick. The service and food was very good but the kitchen was not prepared for the amount of people in the restaurant and we were very worried that we would miss the beginning of our show. We did mention the show when making the reservation and when the waitress first come to take our order. We made the show a little late.
Trevi is a terrific, casual restaurant in Glenside. Here's a tip: time your visit for an evening when Midnight Blue is performing the Great American Songbook. Great live music plus delicious food equals a delightful experience.
