One of our favorite places when the weather is nice. Sitting outside with the flowers in bloom.
We chose to hold our son's Wedding Luncheon, following the ceremony elsewhere, at Trevi. It was a small wedding, only 13 including the bride and groom. Brian, a server whom we have known since before he dated Ashley (!) was assigned to our two tables. It was as if a family member was serving our family members!
Brian did a phenomenal job. We asked for Prosecco at the start (I hadn't thought to arrange for it ahead of time) and it appeared, along with flutes for every guest, within a minute. Brian was aware that the guests were hungry, as wedding photos of the bride and groom continued to happen behind the Hotel, so he made sure that everyone could order appetizers, which was great.
The food at the lead table, with bride and groom, parents and grandparents, came right away. There was a fairly long delay before the second table received their meals, but everyone was having a good time, and because Brian had made sure that most everyone had already received an appetizer, it was fine.
Really, it couldn't have gone any better. We had only three weeks to plan and do this wedding due to immigration document dates changing, but having the Luncheon at Trevi made it seem as if a year's planning went into it. THANK YOU. I reserved the two tables through Open Table, and called Dinding Reservations at the Hotel twice to confirm. Each time I called, the answering person knew EXACTLY what reservation I had, and talked me through how it would work. When we arrived, we had full confidence that all would flow beautifully, and it did. It felt elegant but also intimate, which was unexpected, since we were out with the regular diners. When the bride entered, after photos, the other diners applauded! I would be honored to recommend Trevi for whatever purpose seems right to you. Please be in touch if I can help. "I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
We had amazing service. There were five of us and we had trouble deciding what to eat and drink. Our server was very patient and very helpful. Food was excellent as were the drinks
The bucatini with bacon was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!
I made a reservation and requested outside dining and called the day of to add 2 people to our party and again requested outside and was told it’s on the reservation. When we arrived I was told that even with a reservation its first come first serve and the wait for an outside table was an hour and a half. That should be told at time of reservation. We could have arrived earlier. We sat inside and at first were against the curtain and the wall. We asked that the table be moved to the two top that was empty which they said was ok and my friend and I slid the table over.
We ordered salads as well as entrees. We waited more than 20 minutes and our salads didn’t arrive. Our server said she would check on it and more time passed. Our entrees arrived followed by our salads. The server said she could remove the salads but we said we would eat them. My husband and I shared the panzanella salad which was fair. I had the chicken puttanesca which had one caper and was bland. It was noted on the reservation that we were there to celebrate my birthday and no mention was made. Not even a Hershey kiss with the bill. I have had good meals in the past but all of us agreed this time was very disappointing.
We ordered 4 entrees and they all came out at different times. It was disappointing and awkward that each member of our party was eating their meal at different times because delivery of the meals was not coordinated at all.
Terrible dinner at Trevi 5. Food was awful (both in terms of quality of ingredients and preparation). My filet mignon was not edible. My wife had the lamb chop (no one asked to what temperature is should be prepared and what we got was basically rare). The beef carpacio appetizer was tasteless.
About 5 min after we received our appetizers, main courses arrived and the staff appeared surprised that we still had our appetizers (that the very same people brought out 5 min prior).
They tried to put it on our table and were not happy when we asked them to take the food back and bring it out when we actually could finish the appetizers.
I always enjoy sitting outside and the food is always top quality, as well as the service. Thank you!
Meghan was an outstanding server and helped make our meal special. Highly recommend Trevi 5’s spinach, strawberry, and walnut salad and their pizza (all varieties are terrific!).
Sons communion trip
Great to eat out on the terrace overlooking Hershey. Menu is short but varied. Good wine choices.
The carpaccio was not up to usual standard. Instead of a red, the meat was rather dark as though it was older or had sat for a while. Service was very good.
Seated on patio on a beautiful day with lovely mountain view to enjoy a special birthday lunch. Expresso martini was delicious. Crab cake sandwich was mushy and not all that hot. Should have been pan fried/seared a bit longer to achieve a bit of crusting and a hotter temperature. I hate going out to dine and feeling like I could have done a better job than the chef; however the ambience and martini soothed my disappointment. Next time I will order my crab cake well done!
Trevi 5 was a great place to bring the kids for dinner. Food was delicious and we had excellent service. They were very attentive and the service was pretty quick.
Fathers Day lunch
Ryan was the best waiter we’ve ever had!
Really good lunch experience. We were seated outside on a beautiful day. Food and service were both excellent. Great atmosphere.
Pizza is very good.
Beautiful event to spend outside at Trevi 5. Food and service very good. Looking forward to going back
Great service and food. The Manager made us put the umbrella down outside with a sweltering sun forcing us to leave our view and take refuge in the shade (she cited liability concerns with the wind- it was not that windy). We offered to sign a waiver to leave the umbrella up. Manager denied our request. Felt like we were being forced off the patio. Other than that, great experience.
Wonderful dining experience on the patio.
We had lunch on the outside area overlooking the main entrance. My wife and I agreed that we had the best Caesar salads that we've enjoyed in years. My friend's risotto was also excellent.
Server was professional, courteous and knew the menu. When questioned on the preparation of the halibut special she was able to respond bases oh her tasting of the dish.
Everything wonderful - excellent service - checked on frequently, 6 diners - food brought together, food delicious, specialty cocktails wonderful, outside seating with wonderful ambiance!!
I wanted to try Trevi 5 for a long time. I was not disappointed. The homemade rigatoni with mushrooms tasted great! It was nice and quiet inside. There were booths and tables.
Good Italian food in lovely setting in the historic Hershey Hotel. Attentive and accommodating staff.
The staff was very knowledgeable with the specials of the night and wines! My husband's dish was exceptional, polenta & sausage and Branzeno. My however, was the chicken dish. It was cool in temperature but the caesar salad was very good.
High end prices with a diner experience. Drinks way overpriced food didn't compare to most of the resturants in Hershey. Disappointed.
Our last visit at Easter was excellent but not this time
Although guests at the Hotel Hershey we reserved through Open Table. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, and we were promptly seated at a corner two top near the hostess stand. After being seated we began noticing other diners arriving. The hostess’s were giving them the option of dining outside and at tables with a little more ambiance. Were these diners given preferred treatment because they booked through the concierge vs Open Table? We were beginning to feel like Pinto and Flounder at The Omega house. I ordered the Bucatini with spicy tomato sauce. It was excellent, pasta perfectly al dente. My wife ordered the Veal Scaloppini and the Malbec margarita. Neither was very good. The veal was rather tough and the margarita did not come with salt on the rim (waiter did not ask). The service was otherwise good, very attentive. Overall we left somewhat disappointed. This restaurant has the potential to be very good. Maybe we chose a bad night.
We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come again!
Excellent meal and great service. Would happily return and highly recommend.
Food was very good. Nice Italian wine. Service very good. One of my favorite spots in Hershey. Give it a try!
Though the service was excellent, the food was horrible. Largest tomato chunks on bruschetta I’ve ever seen. Burnt pizza for my son. Tough and tasteless veal scallopini. And very mediocre oso Buco. Better food at California pizza kitchen and macaroni grill. We were looking for a lovely special occasion meal but this was a disappointment. Lovely ambiance at the hotel and grounds but the food was not worth it. Take pictures/have drinks, but eat elsewhere.
The staff was wonderful, but the food was terrible. All our meals tasted horrible. We were a family of 3 and each had different things. The staff did offer replacement meals but if 3 different meals were bad we didn’t think it was worth it.
Very nice dining experience. Good service and a good value overall
We enjoyed our Easter meal very much. Thank you to all the staff especially Lisa.
Great service and great atmosphere!
