Trevi 5 at The Hotel Hershey Ratings and Reviews
We couldn't get into the Circular Dining Room so we went here. WOW. I'm so glad we did. Beautiful setting, great service, very accomodating. The waitstaff was great. We couldn't decide on our entrees and they suggested we split. Better yet, they split it for us--no mess at the table. LOVED THAT.
My family and I have been visiting Hotel Hershey for 15+ years. We've had countless meals at both the Circular Dining restaurant and the Fountain Cafe (now Trevi 5) years ago. I have been telling my in-laws about the hotel for years, and finally, this weekend we got the chance to visit.
We all had other engagements until 3:00, so we got to the restaurant at about 3:30. The dining room was completely empty. I assumed that members of our party would order more food than we did, even just dessert, but we were all so excited to see each other, we just ordered coffees, a few appetizers, and a few desserts. As a former server, I know this is irritating, so I planned to leave a very generous tip to compensate. Remember, the dining room was completely empty, so it's not like we were holding the table up from other paying customers. Our server was a little curt, but I understood why and didn't bother with it.
An hour and fifteen minutes after we arrived, the host walked over to us and told our party that they had a large party arriving at 5:15, and we would need to move for them to have the table. It was clear that she was also slightly annoyed with us. Keep in mind, just in our area of the restaurant, there were six open tables. Either they didn't plan well when they seated us, or they were annoyed with our short orders, which are both unprofessional and unacceptable. My family and I have traveled all over, and needless to say, this has NEVER happened to us at ANY restaurant, let alone a nice establishment like Hotel Hershey.
This was embarrassing to me, as I had been raving to my in-laws about the hotel. They had been talking about staying there on another trip. The experience could have been better.
Great Thanksgiving Experience indulged in the prix fix menu - the short rib/gnocchi appetizer was fabulous (it should become an entrée) as was the chestnut dressing. The dining room hosts/hostesses and the servers are always friendly and engaging. Our server was outstanding. Well done and we look forward to Christmas in The Circular Dining Room for Christmas.
I really wanted to like this however it was very underwhelming the booth and the floor were dirty there were more hot peppers than the calamari the dinner plates were hot like being held under a heat lamp and the pasta dinners was very dried out from sitting still everything had good flavor just not the quality I would expect from the Hershey Hotel
Our dinner at Trevi 5 was interesting. We had just completed an event at the hotel and had reservations using my birthday gift from Hershey Entertainment. Even though my husband had put special occasion; nothing was mentioned.
The protein portions of our meal were awesome. Both the pork chop and venison were very good. The accompaniments were too oily and not identifiable.
The noise level was extremely disappointment.
My wife and booked a reservation for our anniversary. The restaurant was immaculately clean. We were seated on time, and in a quiet booth. Our server was perfect, achieving that balance between making sure we had everything we needed, without seeming to "hover". The food was truly fresh, and presented in just the right stages. Our pre-meal salad was delicious, and the entrees arrived shortly after we completed the salads. Overall I would say that this was an excellent experience, and look forward to returning.
My fiance and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary at Trevi 5 last night and it was wonderful! We came in with high expectations and they delivered. All the staff was so polite, courteous, and attentive. The fall menu was delicious. My scallops came with tasty pumpkin risotto and my fiance ordered the homemade parpadelle with mushrooms. The pasta, sauce, and mushrooms all combined very well together. Our dinner was so great I could go back today and do it all over again!
Looking forward to our next reservation at Trevi 5.
Food was just OK. My steak was burnt on the outside but cooked to my liking inside. Wine selection was OK. I keep trying the Hotel Hershey restaurants waiting for a mind blowing experience considering the perceived luxury of the hotel. This meal was not the time. I probably won’t dine here again as there are better local choices.
The veal was tough. I should have known better as my wife found it was tough before. Her chicken francese was excellent. I will still return every month or so since they have started taking reservations again (no reservations between memorial and labor days) and they will have new menu in 2 weeks.
Lacking nice dinner atmosphere. Table didn't have a table cover, just dollar store placemats. In addition, the table was dirty. Service was decent, server was very nice. At an 8pm dinner, we we're seated next to male guests wearing bathing suits...quite unexpected. Food was less than average, potions were fine.
We were celebrating our 60th Anniversary with 3 days at the Hotel & ate at all three restaurants. At the Trevi , my wife enjoyed her meal of the seafood bisque + antipasto. I ordered the 3-meat bolanaze (don't know spelling)-I assumed this would be pieces of the 3 meats on the noodles covered with a sauce. I was very disappointed as there was only a very meager amount of finely ground meat sauce with little flavor. When asked by the server how it was, I expressed my disappointment. A manager the showed up and offered to replace it. I ordered the bisque, which was quite good and appreciated eliminating the cost of the other dish.
A fantastic meal, as always! A very diverse Italian menu for lunch and beautiful separate menu for dinner. Started with the Caprese and steak tartare which was out of this world! For entrees we enjoyed the Gemelli and Linguine and cockles. For dessert it was the delicious ricotta cheesecake and Nutella crostada. We enjoyed a nice quiet meal inside and Katie provided stellar service!
Same menu for lunch and dinner and although I enjoy a caesar salad and pizza for lunch I would like something a bit "more" for dinner. Service was good for both lunch and dinner. When I ordered beyond the salad and pizza for dinner, I was not impressed! It's Italian, stick to the classic and at least do that well! I was staying in the hotel with kids and this was the best option for a casual place to eat without leaving the hotel so this is where we went. Next time, I would probably do room service or repeat the pizza and salad again for dinner.
Salads were generous and delicious.
Traditional Italian options were very tasty (pastas and pizza).
Servers were pleasant and very knowledgeable about food allergies.
Service was EXTREMELY slow.
Seated in front of servers station which was distracting.
