New Year's Eve Special Menus & Offers
Trestle, an intimate dining establishment in the city’s burgeoning Jackson Square district, is offering a four course prix-fixe menu for $90.00 per person, with an option to add White Truffles for $20. Take a journey back to the comforts of a traditional, well executed meal.

The only reason I am giving this rating a Poor in service, because my group just in an instant paid our bill and one person was still not finished with their glass of wine, they asked us to leave because they needed our table for another group. I felt this was rude and unprofessional.
Such a treat to dine at Trestle! The food is always fresh, unique and tastes delicious. It’s also a great deal for a 4 course menu (can’t NOT include the pasta - haha!)
Came here in November and again in December with two friends. Service was very good. We all had the 4 course menu. 2 of us chose the beef as the main course while one chose the trout. The soup, salad and pasta were delicious. The friend who had the trout enjoyed it but those of us who had the beef found the sauce to be salty. Overall we enjoyed the dinner.
Our birthday gathering was really special, complete with a handwritten Birthday note. The food was FANTASTIC!! Highly recommend Trestle for any occasion.
Seasonal, creative, accessible menu that hasn't disappointed in the several times I've gone. I enjoy the playful twists on classic dishes, and honestly the price point is a steal.
Truffles at Trestle
We had wanted to visit Trestle for some time and when their truffle weekend was announced we were thrilled to get a reservation for four. The prix fixe menu doesn’t disappoint. There were 3 courses for $39 with two options each plus a 4th course for an additional $10 and shaved white truffles on any item for an additional $10. The service is exceptional and very friendly. We arrived early and left our wine with the hostess so we could walk around a bit. We were called when our table was ready. There isn’t a bar or a place to wait in the restaurant as it is small and compact. Corkage was $25. We found street parking on a Friday night. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend Trestle.
Trestle is my first choice for a prix fixe meal that delivers creative tasty selections. I’ve eaten here multiple times for birthday & anniversary celebrations as well as a satisfying supper prior to an evening of theatre.
My husband and I ordered opposite choices on the fixed price menu, so got to sample all of the offerings that evening. The items that were good were so good (trout, both appetizers), but two items were not good, surprisingly.
The pork loin was not warm, tough and I thought the kale side added a weird flavor. Creme brulee dessert lacked flavor, and the compressed apple garnish was cold and lifeless.
It had been highly recommended so we will try it again sometime in the future.
It was good, not bad. Service was so good, never had to refill my own glass even though there was a bottle there. I mean the food was new and good but I didn’t think it was exceptional. For the price, a three course meal, in San Francisco, it was stellar. I left feeling full which was a concern since many reviews said they left feeling hungry. Bread was exceptional, ask for it!
Second time at Tresle. Remains a favorite due to the good vibes, great food, and super quick service. All around an incredible value for the experience. Out of all the dishes (and we tried everything that day), only one of the optional pasta dishes was not tops. It was a bit too salty. Highly recommended.
We had a delightful evening at Trestle. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and genuinely. The food was delicious and they were able to graciously accommodate our plant based diet! We will be back!
The food is spectacular. This particular prix fixe seasonal menu focused on pumpkin and everything was delicious.
Attentive, friendly service.
Amazing. We have been here twice now on work trips to San Francisco. It’s by far my favorite restaurant. Staff are inviting and personable and create a fantastic environment. They are knowledgeable about all the wine and give great recommendations. Just everything was perfection.
Good food, good service, overall without fireworks
Fall menu was amazing! Especially the soup and risotto
Another great dinner at Trestle - loved the seasonal pumpkin in most of the dishes.
Was super excited to try unfortunately they were running behind so we were seated quite late but the hostess was incredibly friendly and offered us a taste of their soup and was sure to serve us drinks while waiting. Food overall was good but timing of our later courses seemed delayed. It took us over 2 hours for dinner, mainly driven by extended timing for entree and dessert courses. For 3 of us on a weeknight it felt long. That said I love the concept and would be willing to give another try.
This place is SO underrated. I almost want it to stay under the radar so it doesn't get too competitive to get a seat here. The food is incredibly delicious. I love the set menu style and the rotating seasonal menu. The ambiance is beautiful but also super inviting. The staff is always amazing and goes above and beyond. I love this place.
I discovered Trestle about a year and a half ago and have made it my go-to place for special occasions. They always make you feel special and the food is phenomenal. 10/10 recommend!
Very well executed, fun design, inspired and creative contemporary cuisine. Set menu with perfect sized portions and beautiful presentations. Only negative was not being able to carry on a quiet conversation, too many hard surfaces makes it hard to hear. Tables right next to one another made it challenging to have a nice conversation over dinner. We had the fall pumpkin themed menu which had been advertised in an e-mail from Trestle. My favorites was the curry pumpkin soup, and the salad which was colorful artisan greens with persimmon, and sunflower seed plated nicely with the dressing in the middle of innovative flat dish.
Love this place! The staff are exceptional as well as the food.
I brought my friend here for her birthday and got the pre-fixe menu for $39. This is generally a good deal for anywhere in San Francisco, but the food was hit or miss. There are 2 options for each course and my friend and I shared every item on the menu.
Some dishes were complete misses with the flavors not complementing each other (i.e. they had one ingredient that just threw the dish off) and some would be good. Everything seemed to be pumpkin themed which after a couple courses gets tiring.
The ambiance and decor were nice and they are thoughtful when it comes to celebrations.
The service at Trestle was amazing! We were sat a few minutes before our reservation time and promptly attended. The food was delicious and the wine selection was impressive. I highly recommend for a date night!
The best gem in the whole neighborhood! I love coming to trestle for the excellent food, wonderful service and beautiful ambiance. It is also very affordable for the quality that you receive.
Can I get a witness?!?!?
Worth every penny. Grab an old friend and have a slow dinner and a great chat.
It was different... not bad, but not a wow either
Pleasantly surprised on the twist they can do for pumpkins
Creative. Inspired. Delicious. Impeccable service. My happy place!
Their fish is always spot on! Awesome experience every time. Great value for a date night.
Fantastic fixed menu restaurant. They obviously have many regular customers, and this restaurant is appropriate for every occasion.
This restaurant touts itself as being a great value- three courses for only $39. I had an awkward experience in that in the dim lighting, I didn't notice that one of the courses was an extra charge. Between that course, sparkling water, and one glass of wine, the dinner ended up being somewhere around $90 per person. I thought it was a mistake and called in. They went over the bill with me to show it wasn't a mistake and offered to take off the price of the additional course. I was embarassed and said "That's okay." The host or manager responded, "Well, if you change your mind, let us know." (Meh.)
Though the portions were on the tapas petite side, the food was nicely prepared. The service was efficient but not particularly friendly.
I was truly looking forward to trying this restaurant but likely would not return.
I’ve had great dinners at Trestle and talked it up to my boyfriend. Have to say it was disappointing. The service was very slow, and especially considering there are only limited options on the menu. The food was just okay. The first course was very good. Pasta was strange- the egg dominated the dish - and didn’t have much flavor. Squid ink risotto was ok. The rest of the meal was fine but felt the wow factor in the overall experience wasn’t per usual.
Love Trestle! Always great food, service, and value!
I was so impressed by the quality versus the price. It was only $49 for a four-course gourmet meal. Three of the courses were very good and one of the courses (the pasta), was phenomenal.
Had an amazing meal with a couple friends at Trestle on Monday. The stand out dish was a coconut and shrimp risotto although everything stood up to our taste test. Also Shaun Livingston (formerly of the Golden State Warriors) sat right next to us! Very cool experience overall
Food was too fat especially main course was not great quality.
Thank you Trestle staff. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We had an amazing bottle of wine from Austria. Our waiter seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. The pasta add-ons were incredible. Thank you for making it special.
Great place to go. A little noice because it's a small place. Good and services excelent.
We'll return again
a restaurant definitely catering to "young people" with lots of money to spend....very very noisy, no consideration of people sitting so close to you on either side of your table! This is a problem for this restaurant if they want to attract more of a clientele especially from the neighborhood. Wines are way overpriced for a half pour! Food was well-prepared, with ample portion size; although in my opinion I prefer more of a choice than salmon and pork belly. Courses served way too quickly, for my liking, Waiters kept wanting to take our plates away and we weren't finished with the course! This restaurant needs to change the menu more often with more options if they want repeat customers. They would be wise to move some of the tables for 2 further apart to allow for some conversation! If you want a party place for high-priced food and wines and lots of noise, this is the place to go! If not, choose another restaurant!
