Sorry to see this place close. Their burger is the best.

The food was good but it took way too long to be served. Once we complained they gave us complimentary bread. It did not occur to them to give us the bread until we complained because we sat there for at least 30 minutes between our appetizers and meals.

Jasmine was fantastic. Service was impeccable. Food was amazing- especially those pickle tots. Wow!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves tucked into the world of long-ago Turkish baths. Creativity flowed from the kitchen to the interiors. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Really enjoyed the experience here. Got there early so it wasn't crowded and was quite quiet. Great decor. I'm sorry to see they're closing to rebrand. Ciabatta bread was so warm and good. Hopefully they keep the pickled tots.

Great server! She was very nice and gave us good recommendations. Food was nice. Avocado toast should come on different bread - it was a bit too hard.

Stunning venue...cleverly turned a Turkish Bath into a world class restaurant. We attended a Sunday brunch, which may be the best value in the history of the world, especially for a Michelin Star restaurant. The food was interesting, creative and exceedingly good. Three of us shared multiple dishes, which allowed for fun and a mini-tasting. Highly recommend.

Went for a birthday dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere, the cocktails, and the food. We had Hot Toddies and they were the best I've ever had! Then appetizers: pork rib was so flavorful ad the octopus vesuvio was unique and wonderful. For main, we split the scallops which were a knockout. However, the brussels sprouts dish was a bit overcooked and lacked balance (way too much curry). Here's the issue, though -- the service was truly subpar. The server paid virtually no attention to us after he took the order. The food came out really really slowly (it was a Saturday night, relatively early, and not that crowded) without explanation. I don't expect being attended to every minute, but this guy just disappeared.

Went on a Tuesday evening so it was slow and quiet. At the bar, we grabbed a drink before dinner but out of the 4 bartenders no one made eye contact or served us for at least 20 minutes. There were 3 other people at the bar so it wasn't that we couldn't be seen. Kind of obnoxious. The bartender also mixed two different bottles of wine to make my friend's a full glass. Kind of faux pas. Food was great though. We had the salmon and gnocchi and both were cooked to perfection. The plating was also very lovely and portioned out well. Will definitely return.

We loved Trencherman and will be back soon. The food was excellent throughout, appetizers, entrees, desert. The choices were varied and included really interesting combinations. I had a goat cheese gnocchi type dish with lamb shanks that was incredible. The wait staff was excellent. I loved this place.

Two thumbs up for Trenchermen brunch! First off, the space is beautiful...It used to be a Russian bath house, and they've honored that history and kept that sophisticated rustic vibe going. So we had a 10am reservation, this is when they open so when we arrived it was basically empty and quiet. The place did fill up pretty quickly, I'd say it was full by 10:30-10:45, but still the atmosphere was pretty chill, not too loud (As compared to a Little Goat, for example, that seemed to be more energetic during brunch). I will say that there seemed to be quite a few families with kids, so it seemed to be very family friendly as well. The service was good, our waitress was bubbly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was excellent, it definitely lives up to the name. Very hearty and satisfying. Try the monkey bread. Overall a great place for brunch!

Ive been here multiple times and I've always loved it. I tour around and try places out to see where to refer my clients. Its always been so good. This last experience was poor to the point where I will probably not be back. It's too bad, I really liked this place. I now see why the place was empty in the dinner prime time.

The food and environment at Trenchermen were both amazing. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Out waiter, Graham, was attentive, friendly, and gave excellent recommendations. I recommend the pickled tots, burrata, and scallops!

I forgot what a cool space this restaurant is! The atmosphere is terrific for hanging out for drinks and be sure to stay for dinner. My favorites were the butternut squash soup, Caesar salad and salmon. What an amazing mix of flavors, textures and taste. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. We also had the Gnodi, seared scallops and hamburger with giant steak fries. Great cocktail and wine selection. The rice pudding and Mexican hot chocolate for dessert were also hits. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend everyone stop in for drinks and dinner.

The food was excellent but the portions were minuscule. I resent paying $33 for an entree and leaving hungry. I would have appreciated a slice of bread for the sauce.

We had a reservation for 8:15. We didn't get our appetizer until after 9 and then our meals until about 9:40. Our waiter was nice but the service was SO SLOW and just terrible. We were disappointed the server didn't even acknowledge the slow service. We understand sometimes the kitchen is backed up and things happen, but at least acknowledge it and keep us in the loop. Wont be going back.

The atmosphere, food, service were all spot on at Trencherman. It's a perfect winter place...cozy and warm. The beef tartare was SPECTACULAR. The portions are reasonable (certainly not large) and the menu a little pricey, but well worth it. We'll be back...probably to hang out at the very cool bar!

Food was outstanding. Shouldn't need to say anymore but...

Service was impeccable. We were there on a Sunday night, not our first time. We saw Chef Pat Sheerin on "Beat Bobby Flay" and decide to visit again. We love sitting in the bar area because its comfortable yet not isolating as many restaurant bars are. The menu is interesting, but brief, and the preparation is excellent. Having said that, I wanted to order 8 of 10 things on the menu (burger might be great, but that's not why I came here) . You need to look on-line at the menu if you're not open minded or adventurous. Not that Trenchermen is crazy out of control, but if you're not open minded (i.e. you want your steak and potatoes), your choices are burger or new york strip. Chef Pat Sheerin made decomposed pork fried rice on "Beat Bobby Flay", so we had to try the pork shoulder. It did not disappoint. I love basic pork fried rice and this satisfied while presenting something more than typical. Also had pickle tots, scallops (perfectly prepared) and everything was excellent! Absolutely will go back again!

Fun environment. Recommend more for friends get together and larger social gathering than intimate conservation spot, as tables are close together. Interesting vibe, good drinks and good service. And easy to talk to your neighbors, if you're outgoing. :-)

I've been here for evening drinks and for brunch, and neither disappoint. The bar scene is relaxed and great for conversation and the beer/cocktail offerings are fantastic.

Brunch featured a lively crowd, a small but delicious menu and solid Bloody Mary's. The everything bagel with smoked salmon was perfection and the bloody had a nice little kick but maybe a tiny too much Worcestershire sauce. Throughout brunch time there was also live music, which was great and the volume was at a level where it wasn't overwhelming.

Great venue in former bath house in exciting neighborhood. Excellent ambiance for dinner. Menu not extensive but wonderful fresh local ingredients, portions not excessively large, just right. I didn't like the recommended wine I got but our server was so gracious about it and brought me a spectacular cocktail instead. Very attentive service. Want to go back and hang around the bar.

Chose Trenchermen for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Service was great, drinks were well-attended, food was delicious and our server even had some dessert wine sent to our table as a digestif when she found out it was our anniversary. Our only complaint would be that we ordered bread and it came after our entrees came/during our meal instead of before. It was also a slow night when we were there (Monday) and they kept seating 2-tops directly next to each other, which was a little weird considering there was ample space throughout the dining room.
