Tremonti Ristorante - Woodbridge Toronto Ratings and Reviews
Dissatisfied all around, hardly any patrons on a Valentines night. Others didn't even finish their meals left early, one couple fought with the owner. Absolutely a horrible experience and it cost us just under $200. for a special set Valentines menu. Rip off.
This restaurant was a jewel. The service was good and attentive. The food was fresh and good portions. The music was nice and soft (did not need to yell to have a conversation). The location is central and easy to get to. The prices are reasonable. Would definitely go again. Excellent food.
I was supposed to have a date but she didn't show. Went for dinner anyway because I was hungry. Service was good and I really enjoyed the food although it was nothing special. The place was really quiet for that time of day. They really could use an update on the decor.
i really believe i found a diamond in the ruff. the food and atmosphere was phenomenal. the live piano music was such a beautiful touch. the servers were very sweet and attentive. i couldnt have asked for a better dinner experience. i definitely will be returning!
Food is delicious. Real Italian quality, taste and ingredients. Service was outstanding, warm and welcoming.
Highly recommend. Ignore the surrounding area. One of those old school fine dining establishments that do it right food and service wise which the newer joints could learn from.
For context, I'm a 35 year old professional male and prefer quality over anything and you won't be disappointed at Tremonti.
Great food, service, and atmosphere! Couldn't have asked for more. We had an early dinner and had the whole restaurant to ourselves for the first 30min! To top it off, my wife was given a valentine's day rose before we left for the night. The service is spectacular and I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic night!
The service and the food from this restaurant were absolutely amazing. The severs were polite helpful and funny. The food was piping hot, and tasted fantastic. The only criticism that I have is that the restaurant is a bit outdated but it looks like a old school Italian restaurant.
My 2 girlfriends and I just booked this restaurant randomly and we were pleasantly surprised. Firstly we got there 20 mins late but called ahead to advice them, we were told that is not a problem. When we got there, at first we were shocked to find that at 9pm, there was not a single soul in the restaurant other than the waiter and the chef. The ambiance was very inviting and they had a table set aside for us differently than the other tables. You could tell that they were expecting us. From the moment we stepped in through the doors, the Waiter(he's from Ecuador)made us feel so welcome & we actually thought they had closed, he said they were not closed for us. It was a lovely evening filled with laughter. The food was amazing & very tasty
I was looking for a romantic setting for a nice evening with my girlfriend. The staff and the atmosphere did not disappoint. We loved the welcoming and friendly manner of our wait staff, which included the owner! The wine list was more than satisfactory for my discerning expectations. Overall we had a lovely evening.
The food was ok, not spectacular or even superb. It was about average for the price.
I think everything else was better than the food, but the food was ok!
I would go back again, and I would recommend this restaurant based on the ambiance and the service. Maybe next time the food order will knock my socks off!
truly spectacular and imaginative food, impeccable service, excellent wine list, very friendly and funny owner. Yet, the place was almost empty. I think it's because know one knows it's there. It's hidden away at the end of a plaza in an area not known for having this type of restaurant. my party of 4 were all highly impressed - and we know food and wine! go there. period. worth it, hands down.
My daughter and I went to this restaurant on a week night. Had high hopes since the review was quite good and I know the restaurant has been around for years. The complimentary bread was yummy and I was hoping the rest of the food would be as well. The caesar salad that we shared was average. We ordered the mushroom risotto and the gnocchi with a simple tomato sauce. What Italian restaurant can't make that? The risotto was very plain, no exotic mushrooms, no rich flavors, just blah. The gnocchi itself was soft, and light but the sauce was awful. I think Ragu is better. There isn't enough cheese in Italy to cover the flavor of that.Waitress saw we were picking at our food but never really asked if we liked it. It was $70, NOT WORTH IT!
I gathered with colleagues for dinner at Tremonti Ristorante after a long work day. All of us were visiting for business purposes from out of the country. Aldo was a terrific host who was attentive and friendly. Several of us had the caprese salad. One had the calamari appetizer which was tender and delicious. Our entrees did not disappoint. Among our party we had fish, veal and pasta. All were tasty and fresh. We shared creme brûlée and tiramisu for dessert and lingered over lemon cello and sambuca. Aldo didn't rush us. Overall, a marvelous, memorable meal. Don't be put off by it's location in a strip mall area. Once you enter the premises, you will be transported to Italy!
I am new to Toronto and never had occasion to be in Woodbridge before, but I was meeting a friend from Vaughan and tried to find a place in the area. The restaurant provided a warm welcome. The service was good and the food was excellent. I must admit that I was worried when I saw that it was in a strip mall but we soon forgot where we were and enjoyed a wonderful meal. I would certainly return again [and again].
