Fresh fish, veal scaloppini, osso buco, prime steaks, Kobe-beef burgers, organic salads, and house-made desserts.
Award Winner of Italian wines list.
Great Food, Great Service Love! We always make it a point to dine here when we are in Montecito. Our favorite place!
Tre Tune has reliably good food in a retro Italian film hommage setting. Diners appear to be of the well heeled retirees. Very civilized brunch.
Always an amazing experience at Tre Lune!!! Amazing food, great atmosphere, amazing service!!!
Always good food and nice service. Never disappoints.
One of our local favorites! Always delicious!
It was quaint and the service was superb! Our food was delicious! We had calamari fritte, and spilt the Chicken Limone! Both were great! Then we had dessert which was gelato, made up these three flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla and Salted Caramel. It was super creamy, sweet and yummy!
As soon as I was seated, things began to go strangely. I was the first of a party of three to arrive, and the waitress came over and asked me what kind of water I would like. I said, "Sparkling, please," and she said, "Ok just ice water then." It was rather bizarre but not a huge deal. I asked about the wine, whether the $12 Lagrein was actually a Pinot Noir and she rather testily said there was no difference. OK. Later my salad came, with lettuce that was clearly brown. I remarked to my friends, "$16 for a tiny salad and the lettuce is nasty!" The waitress overheard and offered to bring me a different salad--endive with walnuts, pears, and blue cheese. "Sounds great, thanks!" I said. No walnuts on the salad but OK. After she brought the new salad, we did not see her again--gone! Our new waiter brought us the dessert menu, and I ordered an Armangac, which I repeated. It tasted odd, but it had been awhile. When the bill came, I was charged $15 for the wrong wine and they had given me Grand Marnier instead of Armangnac. The waiter was defensive but did take the liqueur off the bill. When we left and said goodbye, only the busboy responded--the waiter stolidly kept his back to us. Either the waitstaff is high or they are just naturally incompetent and graceless. Not sure. I will never set foot in this place again--oh, and I'm a local.
amazing food A++++
Authentic Italian - can’t wait to go back again
The food is fantastic - the service was a bit gruff. Went there for a business lunch and the server seemed annoyed that we were actually, you know? doing business! So if they get a clue on the service side I have high hopes for the place.
Excellent service, great options for gluten free if needed. Tremendous wine list. All four of us had something different to eat and we all raves about our meals and desserts!!!
This is our fave restaurant when in the Santa Barbara area and luckily we got to take our friend who’d never been. Everything was outstanding as usual from the hostess, server, delicious food and presentation. We ate outside which was perfect with the heater on and it was delightful.
Nice breakfast. Consistent good omelets and great coffee.
Sat outside, Ambiance was great. Waiter was very attentive and service was excellent. I ordered a shrimp pasta meal that was amazing, my husband ordered a pasta and meatball marinara dinner which was not so great. it was a bit pricey. But we overall did enjoy the experience of dinig there.
They should have notified their customers that their bathroom will be INOPERATIVE; especially when having reserved a table in advance. They didn’t. I had to walk over two blocks (“Honor Bar”) to use their bathroom in THE RAIN !!! So unfair. So not right. They should have closed and dealt only with take-out orders. Not even an “attention” on behalf of the house for this horrible inconvenience. That was the worst experience and we are patrons of that establishment.
We were celebrating a birthday and Tre Lune was recommended by the front desk at the Montecito Inn.
JP was our waiter and he did a great job of making my wife feel special on her day.
We both tried different dishes. She tried the wild boar pene and I had the lamb ragu lasagna . Both were delish!
We we will be back on our next trip!
I've been going to Tre Luna since their opening. Service is impeccable and food always spot on. Even the manager was helping to ensure good service and happy diners!
Excellent! Best restaurant in Montecito and perhaps in all of Santa Barbara.
While ambience and location are nice, the quality of the food needs to be better. The spinach salad with egg was small, poorly composed and not flavorful. Prices are high for the quality. For the price I expected more. Service is OK and polite, but slow.
Great even on a very busy day like Mothers Day!
Tre Lune never disappoints. The service is impeccable and the food outstanding as usual.
Excellent food, attentive service, and a great environment. Never disappointments!
We were really looking forward to this meal in and expected an intimate Italian meal in a cozy setting. What we experienced was completely different. The dining room was so brightly lit on a Saturday night it felt like you were dining on stage. The service was well paced but our unfamiliarity put us near the bottom of our waitress's priority list. We felt invisible. Its a locals dining spot. The food was fine but the brightness of the restaurant took away from the enjoyment. Price point is high, but that's not unexpected for the area. We happily pay for good food and the experience around the meal. We left disappointed - it was the only table we walked away from during our entire stay in Montecito not wanting to return.
Even with a reservation I had to wait 10 minutes, service was very poor no attention to detail Waiting time for food to be served was terrible over an hour and the ambience was very loud, not a pleasant experience for the value of the meal. Totally not worth it.
Hands down best restaurant I've ever been to in California! Also, best server I've ever had in an industry I've been in for 15 years. Thank you!!!!!
Nice neighborhood restaurant. The servers are friendly and hard working.
Had the most delicious grilled seafood platter with shrimp, langoustines, scallops and fish and a homemade pasta dish designed by the chef for me....linguini, spinach and garlic tossed together...It was sublime.
After making a reservation (I have been visiting this restaurant since it opened), my wife and I arrived on time and was shown immediately by the greeter to a very poor table (at that time the restaurant was 75% empty) close to the entrance. I complained about the location and was told the other tables had already been reserved. As I uttered a comment of annoyance as we've never noted such "pre-asignment" during the past 5 years of attending Tre Lune, he audibly groaned and led us to a better table with the comment that he'd have to find a replacement when the designated group arrived for their later reservation. This was our first exposure to this table reservation concept weather the restaurant was empty or full at the time of arrival. In other words, we now learnt a very important element of the Tre Lune reservation system: All returning customers (the automated system confirmed there was a record of our frequent reservations) will receive preferential seating based on history rather than arrival time per reservation. The food was good, but being "judged" as an adequate customer is a feature of Tre Lune that I cannot accept. Just plain disgusting!
I have visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner on multiple occasions. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly, helpful waiters and excellent food. Never feel rushed. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal and wine with friends.
Love this restaurant! The staff is wonderful and the food is divine. It is worth the drive from Manhattan Beach.
Perfect!!! It was the best choice in Santa Barbara for sure!! We had an excellent service by Rafael he was Nice and really helpful. 5 stars spot!
ChRMING AND URBANE, TRUSTWORTHY GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE
Think they were a bit understaffed. Service not the usual.
We are regulars & always enjoy Tre Lune however the Chef put a Huge amount of chili oil or flakes on my half order of spaghetti with olive oil...I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CHILI,
it burned my mouth with the first taste!!! I came home with severe stomach cramps & sick to my stomach....
Nicki, our usual server came over when I signaled her, she took it away & 10 min later they brought another 1/2 order,
when I was almost finished with my entree!!!
The worse part was they charged us $12 for this 1/2 order of plain pasta....we have been coming to Tre Lune for years
this was very very bad treatment of regular customers!!!
Great classic Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere in a busy restaurant. Would definitely eat there again!
Tre Lune has soooo much great, easy, old Hollywood charm. Sort of Musso & Frank's - North, except with a Montecito crowd. The decor riff is dark wood beams offset by chic light pink walls with framed candids of Hollywood stars. Our server ( charming ) offered to share the Tre Lune photo album of even more pictures waiting for wall space. Tre Lune offers patio seating in front accompanied by a phalanx of Bentleys, perhaps a Rolls. Heat lamps keep the cool evening at bay.
By the way, they also serve classic upscale Italian cuisine. The wine list is thoughtful and they make a proper negroni. A special appetizer of grilled asparagus wrapped in proscutto, greens, shower of parm and drizzle of balsamic showed off all the flavors. The menu overflows with tempting pasta; fusilli with artichokes and leeks, enriched with truffle oil was exceptional. The seafood risotto was bland and skimpy on the seafood. Inspite of the uninspired risotto, there's much to like about Tre Lune.
Tre Lune! One of my fave bistro's in all of Santa Barbara and Montecito!
Great service, wonderful food, and splendid atmosphere!
Nice place good food we will go back. we liked the chicken the bread and the pasta
Service, atmosphere and food are all outstanding. Highly recommend.
One of the best restaurants in Montecito.......excellent food - fantastic wine selection...Next time in SB we will definitely stop and eat again. Loved it!
