About Tre Famiglia
Since its opening in 2005,Tre Famiglia has built a customer base from local patrons as well as individuals from the suburbs of Philadelphia voted best Italian Restaurant South Jersey for the 10th straight year 2017 Courier Post, bringing it's home-style Italian fare from its South Philadelphia landmark Chip's Restaurant established in 1903, the Cipollone family has landed across the river in the quaint town of Haddonfield. From the first day the doors opened diners from both near & afar sing the praises for the quality and consistency that are a part of every dish served. Robert Cipollone (head chef) continues to preserve their family traditions and recipes and has added many new award winning appetizers, pasta and desserts on the menu. I love the hominess , like I was at a party at nona’s House! The atmosphere was nice, a little noisy but everyone was talking, laughing, enjoying each other’s company! The food was excellent, the waiters were great and the cappuccino was the best I’ve ever had
Dined here for the first time during Farm to Harvest Week. The value was spectacular! Four courses for $35 , which included an entree of filet mignon. Our server, Colin, was attentive, pleasant, but not intrusive. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but that was because they were very crowded. The butternut squash soup was delicious as was the goat cheese salad. I had to take my dessert home I was so full. I would definitely return and recommend this to my family and friends.
I went for restaurant week and was not disappointed. I had a hard time deciding which meal to choose because the options were great. The portion sizes were perfect considering the number of courses. The selections I made were in line with the descriptions and were fabulous. The sausage balls fried with pumpkin risotto were amazing. On my list to go back to try the short rib entree which looked amazing.
On August 30th I had lunch at Tre Famaglia and it was absolutely wonderful (see my review on Open Table). During Harvest Week I dined with a friend, and it was again "wonderful" .........
What a treat to indulge in an authentic menu with super service and a fun atmosphere. I have
read previous reviews from other diners and some think it is too noisy - not so. If you have ever
been to Italy you will find similar; close tables, enjoyable chatter, and sharing wine with the
guests on either side of you. Such fun to experience the passion of eating good food with others. Tre Famaglia is "fit for foodies" don't pass up this opportunity by not dining there.
as always,wonderful food with a creative flair. I have been here numerous times and even had my daughter-laws shower here. Never disappointed and where they get,without question,the best wait-staff I have ever encountered. Friendly,helpful,knowledgeable and un-obtrusive. The food is always fresh and a great value. Being a B.Y.O.B.? Why wouldn't u try it?
The wife and I visited for Harvest Week last Thursday (10/26). As usual, Tre Famiglia was packed, but not overly so. The meal (during which my wife and I ordered the same 4 courses, but not planned that way!), was as delicious as their regular offerings. Our waiter, Steve, was professional, friendly and attentive, but not hovering. We are anxiously looking forward to our return visit.
We were there for restaurant week. The soup was good, the app was very good but small. My halibut was over cooked and missing the sauce, therefore a little dry. My husbands filet and mashed potatoes were very good. Dessert was good but also small. Our waiter Steve was excellent.
We went for Fall Harvest Week. Dinner was outstanding! The two entrees we ordered were the bronzino with risotto and the filet mignon. The bronzino was delicious, although personally I was not a fan of the grapefruit sauce, and the risotto was absolutely amazing. The filet was cooked to perfection. This is one of our favorite places.
Our waiter Nick was very accommodating and professional The apple salads and halibut were excellent. The gnocchi are the best. Tri Familia is consistently consistant. There is nothing on the menu that is disappointing. This restaurents is truly worth the trip.
Lovely restaurant , wonderful and attentive service and delicious food. The only issue was the noise level! Two of us were seated in the middle dining room that had mostly very large parties. As we were eating our appetizers we both agreed that we could barely hear each other. Luckily it was a beautiful night and there was an outdoor table available which they graciously and swiftly moved us to. Had it been a cold or rainy night, I guess we would have had to suffer through because they looked to be booked up. Perhaps request a table in the front room as that looked to have smaller parties.
