Difficult to judge overall experience given what’s going on with Coronavirus. But for every thing that is going on they made the best of it. Service was good despite the wait staff saying they were understaffed. Food was excellent as usual!
byob service is wonderful and food is consistently above average
Always very consistent good food and great service
Tre Famiglia is consistently outstanding. We have old favorites on the menu but the specials are always enticing! The crab bisque is excellent and the veal Milanese is as well. The service was great!
the portions are great, especially the appetizers!! the specials were priced slightly higher than the menu but the food was excellent.
It was our anniversary and I wanted to take my wife someplace special and it paid off. The food was so good we were talking about it for 2 days. You guys were super busy and our waiter was swamped but he handled it very well. We wanted for nothing at our table.
Excellent food, presentation and our waiter Joe was wonderful and accommodating
Been going here since Chips was open Just great food
The Calamari salad with strawberries was a great idea. The Caesar salad is very good. I had the veal Roberto love artichokes. My wife had a special spicy ravioli with veal medallions that was very good. Chris was excellent as our server and the busboy was also excellent. Just like a trip to South Philly
The world today is full of vegetarians and vegans. Your server couldn't even point at the menu and tell us where those options are.
Penne "imported from Italy" more like imported from ShopRite. I did not even taste "fresh pasta" It was boiled, cold and the heated sauce made it warm. Eggplant dish had only two rolled eggplants in it. Horrible.
Server brings out broccoli rabe aglio olio without any pasta. Are we rabbits? Just horrible man. And your prices are stupid expensive for a real ghetto ambiance.
That Haddonfield scene got to your head. You're just an average American Italian restaurant. We will never come back and will never recommend your restaurant.
Outstanding restaurant...food and service is exceptional
Excellent Italian food, BYOB & attentive service. We were there on a very busy Saturday with several large parties, so it was crowded & very noisy, but still a great place! We highly recommend it.
Loved the food. Started with muddles in red. Mmmmmm. Great dipping sauce for the bread. Followed with a great seafood dish and chicken dinner.
Anthony our waiter was excellent.
Unfortunately very noisy but can’t wait to go back
Had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. Server was rushed and not attentive. Food was very good
Such a great time! Our server was Vince and was great! Gave us all of his recommendations and everything was delicious, I’ll definitely go back!
Great meal as usual, everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely recommend Tre Famiglia. The food was outstanding. We had the mussels with red sauce, little spicy.. perfect. With the bread, it was magnafique! The Veal Marsala was delicious. And their house Malbec was so smooth. Add a shout out to Chris, our waiter. Great service. Will definitely be going back.
Great food, great service but very loud for a Sunday evening.
We had never dined here before. Upon walking in it is clear there are "regulars" who can walk in & make certain demands of what table they prefer. Just an observation really to make you understand that people definitely frequent this place. I was slightly disappointed with a few aspects of our experience:
We say it is our first time here for a 4:30 reservation & we get sat at a table right in front of the kitchen door in the back. It was a bit loud because there is expected noise from the kitchen.
Our waiter tells us the specials, We immediately order two apps & calamari. The waiter tells us. "Sorry, I need your entire order all at once." We question this because well, quite honestly we have never been there, but many times once we are done the appetizers we make decisions on whether we want individual entrees or to share an entree so we don't take home a ton of food. Nope, it's all or nothing. I was VERY tempted to order three appetizers and sit there for 4 hours but one of the people in our party hadn't eaten yet that day. We ordered entrees. For the record the food was delicious, plentiful, & hot. The appetizers (a goat cheese salad, steak egg rolls & calamari more than enough) We would have ordered a couple shared entrees dessert & coffee.
Our Waiter comes over & I ask him if the chef could make a very SIMPLE well- known Italian dish since I don't see it on the menu. Cacio Pepe pasta. It is literally, Parmesan cheese, cracked black pepper, Pasta water & butter over spaghetti. Except for the pasta, all of these ingredients were already on the table, so I am fairly certain throwing this together would be simple for a skilled chef, but the waiter said no. Whatever. I have worked in Italian restaurants many years. Most chefs make this with their eyes closed.
For the record I did tip 20% of the check because I am not a complete witch, and they have attentive bus boys as well. But I wont be back soon. And I live in Haddonfield
Food was fantastic. Chris our server was the best!
The food was fresh and so delicious. Our server was amazing too! We will definitely come back.
We ordered specials for both our appetizers and dinners- short rib egg rolls, pear & goat cheese salad, stuffed pork chop and halibut. Everything was amazing- I would definitely come back!
There was table of what I thought was “adults” that were so loud, obnoxious and immature. Inappropriate conversations so loud my daughter and I could not even hear each other speak. Although I know its not the establishments fault I do feel like it was extremely inappropriate to have them discuss what they were and feel like something should have been said to them. It is not a cheap place therefore I wouldn’t think such would be accepted. Food was great as was service. I doubt I will return however.
Great food as usual, we will be back in a few weeks.
We had a wonderful meal. The risotto accompanying our veal dishes was sublime. The portions of both the appetizers and entrees are generous. Expect to take a doggie bag if you are a small eater. The service is excellent too. And from the number of folks at the restaurant, it is definitely popular.
Excellent food and service.
The food was very good, Nick our waiter was very good, a little over priced.
We had the best time. The service was amazing! One of the best waiters we have ever had!!!! The food was fantastic. Made our Anniversary so so special!!!
Great Food and Service
Great food and service. Steve our waiter was fantastic. Would definitely go there again.
My fiancé and I went for Valentine’s Day . We were seated right away. Our waiter was young and nervous but was outstanding! The appetizers, soup, entrees, and dessert were fantastic.
The only drawback I can say was we were seated right next to the kitchen, so a couple of dishes we heard broke and and just business of servers going back and forth. We will be going back again and again!!! We love it here....
Been going several times a year since it’s inception. The food and service has never once disappointed. Creative yet delectable Italian comfort food.
We dined early in the evening. My husband and I each had the bronzino dinner. It was extraordinarily delicious as usual! Service was excellent and noise level was not loud. A very enjoyable experience and we look forward to many more at our favorite restaurant!
Excellent meal. I had the barramundi special, with lobster ravioli i. Alfredo sauce, and my friend had the stuff veal chop special. Both were delicious, done to perfection!
Everything was exceptional. Our meals were outstanding. My husband had the chicken parmigiana and loved it
I had the short rib special. It was incredible. The calamari appetizer was prepared perfectly.
The desserts , tartufo and creme brulee were the perfect finish.
Our server Joey was polite and very efficient.
We will definitely return.
Upon arrival the hostess informed seating would be delayed. We were seated 45 minutes beyond our 8:00pm reservation. No updates were communicated during our wait. In fact the hostess stated she was surprised we waited.
No apologies were offered
We have in past enjoyed going to Tre Famiglia for dinner but this time we found our pasta dinners very bland. The gravy just had no taste to it. We changed one of our pasta dishes for another (pappardelle to spaghetti) and was charged $1.50 for the change. Surprised.
