We had the rudest waiter. Young man, snobbish, and intentionally providing poor service. He rolled his eyes when we asked if there was a house red wine by the glass (apparently not). He didn't bring out our salads. Our meals where served already when he asked if we wanted them. It was the first time my wife and I shared our anniversary dinner with our children, 9 years old, and they noticed his attitude too. The food was okay, the family style lasagna was a little too 'unstructured with too much cheese' and the gnocchi non savory and slightly overcooked. The floor plan does not provide for a separate dining space away from bar or kitchen. It is not as elegant as the previous location downtown. We will again celebrate our anniversary soon with our children (not there) this week. Important though, I will say the manager, and fellow employees, were watching the poor service and attitude of the server. The manager came at the end of meal and apologized and said our meal was on the house. My applause to the manager who I know will be careful about who he hires in the future.
This was our first visit. The three of us ordered crab spaghetti (over cooked spaghetti), pizza (tough crust), and ravioli (over cooked and swimming butter). The Caesar and Market salad were very good. The Nutella x3 dessert had good flavor, but was presented in a very bland way. The chocolate torte was next to a blob of mousse shaped like a link sausage with no garnish to offset all that brown.
The service was ok; although the waiters should be trained to review the market fish and other market prices. We had to ask the market price for each item. We were startled when suddenly one of the chefs yelled “order up”, expected in a diner but not here.
This restaurant did not meet our expectations for a Jason Dady restaurant.

Mostly empty probably due to time of day and day of week. Awesome pasta. Smaller portions than expected but filling enough. Good service. Since visiting from out of town unlikely to return but would definitely return if i was local.
Two areas for improvement.
Service. The young man who was our server didn't seem to have his heart in it. Interrupted our conversation to run through the specials (in a loud way, not politely), left empty beer bottles and used plates to sit until we asked him to take them away, never did see the bread I asked for to go with the pasta, generally not a good service experience.
Very minor/personal taste. Ordered a bellini and it was mostly champagne with almost no peach flavor. Sipped a little and took it back to the bar and the bartender added more peach flavor. So it turned out OK. Lesson learned though about their recipe for bellinis.
Food was delicious. If the service had been better, this evening would have been a home run. Will go back for dinner again and just hope we sit in some other wait staff area.
Celebrating Mother's Day with my children. Food was excellent, great 4 course meal. Service was prompt, each course well timed.
The menu selection is broad enough for sharing plates and dining Italian family style. The waitperson was a little short with us.
Food and service were great. The pulled mozzarella is not to be missed.
The night we went they appeared to be understaffed. The salads were delivered with the entree instead of in advance. The chicken was bloody causing my daughter to have a gag reflex. We waited about 45 minutes between seating and getting our food.
We shared three dishes between four of us: the burrata, salad with pear and hazelnuts and goat cheese, and the Friday family-style spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was light and delicious and the meatballs were amazing. The other dishes were great as well. Found a new wine which we enjoyed. Good service but would have liked Parmesan to have come to the table without asking. We love Tre and enjoy coming here with friends to share.
Bottom line - service inattentive. Glasses left empty until we flagged somebody down. A long break in between courses with no explanation or provided expectations of what is next. The server seemed as if he was tolerating us.
Food - I think Chef Dady would have been disappointed in the presentation of the deviled eggs and the cauliflower. I took pictures of the deviled eggs because I have had them before, this time they looked haphazardly thrown on the plate. The cauliflower was just dumped in the bowl and sauce unevenly placed on top. Definitely not like it was presented at Chef Dady’s other establishments. I think Chef Dady would have been disappointed if he were there.
Taste of the food was good. The only food that might need a little less char was the Brussel sprouts. They were good but needed less char and a little more of the sweet accent ingredients.
Overall - I would rather go to Tre Trattoria than Tre Enoteca. Maybe I was expecting something different.
I will go back once because my son wants to go there. I will see then if it was just an off night.
The food was so good. We truly enjoyed every bite. Lots of cheese which always puts a place at the top of my list.
Market Salad was horrible. Looked like a previously frozen blob of greens. Watery, no flavor of vinaigrette. The squash pizza with caramelized onions tasted like a frozen Trader Joe’s pizza. Tomato bisque was delicious.
Service was outstanding- great job, Nick. Food was even better! I’ve never provided an Open Table review before but this restaurant was so deserving I thought I would make sure “y’all” knew. Fresh-pulled mozzarella was terrific for an app. Pizza, Caesar salad, Salmon, pasta were all dynamite.
We like to eat at restaurants that offer small plates to share. There were some good choices: Golden beets with sliced oranges, the two pasta dinners of Duck Confit and Lamb were very good as was the dessert. The least enjoyable dish was the pork belly and kale in a brodo. We were not given bowls or spoons and the pork belly was hard to find. The seating area we were in was a tiny table wedged in by a larger table. There were some hits, but some misses as well.
Always delicious! And great cocktails! Lively enough to be interesting but quiet enough to hear conversation.
Food preparation and service is fine. I have been here a couple of times and the food is fine but a bit salty.
My date had to return the steak because it was salty.
Recently moved back to San Antonio. I have seen a couple of good restaurants in this location... come and go. This one gave us a great first try, with excellent customer service and delicious plates of food. Modern, small plates... we tried several items. There were favorites, but I suggest you go make your own faves list. Will return. Hope they can stay put. Location is so chill compared to other comparable otions.
Cocktails, service were excellent. Unfortunately, we ordered a simple pizza which was very sub par this evening. I have frequented the establishment and love the ambiance, hope to be back again soon for a much better experience.
Food was well flavored. The only concern was that everything was over salted. We let our server know and she was genuinely concerned and would pass this on to the owner and the chef.
Spaghetti meatballs were amazing. Gnocchi with white sauce was perfect.
This is the fourth Jason Dady restaurant we’ve visited and we were not disappointed. Good variety of foods on menu. Good value.
We made reservations here for Valentine's Day even though we had never been before. It exceeded our expectations! Food was fantastic, the staff was very friendly and the service was quick. We couldnt have been happier. We recommend to anyone looking for good Italian food at a decent price. We will definitely go back.
Very average food, service was just ok. Better off going to another restaurant.
Found this place on Uber Eats and decided to dress up and go there. It was amazing food was perfect and original yet extremely authentic Italian. We returned for Valentines this year and WOW the prefix menu was outstanding and four course each large enough for a meal itself along with perfect wine pairings. I’m not going to judge you for not trying this place but... it probably will change your life.
Gnocchi served dry with no sauce, ribeye way to fatty, $15 alcohol tax( who the heck charges this?)... everything else was fine but considering the cons we will not be coming back
Considering it was Valentine's Day, the service was great. The food was great for any day of the week. We will definitely be going there again and again and again.

I asked waiter how his day wac going and the
Waiter told my wife and I he will be happy when day is over
We asked what the specials were and he pointed to the menu and told me it was on menu
So we took check and decided to eat somewhere else after we had ordered drinks
Too bad the restaurant looked cute and many work staff standing around to serve
So I guess our waiter was the unlucky selection for us
Great food and service! We were seated in one of the smaller rooms and were having a wonderful time until a very large, loud party entered. It was very hard to hear each other after they arrived. I know this isn’t the restaurants fault, but it did mar our otherwise lovely evening. Next time we will request to be seated by smaller parties.
We sat at the bar and had martinis and Alex the bartender was awesome! We ordered a cheese and meat tray and they were out of cheese. They were out of the first three expensive bottles of wine we ordered at our table. However, after speaking with the manager about it he gave us a great deal on another expensive bottle. Although our waiter never told us his name and he was a little snarky, he did refill our wine and water frequently. We had market salad and Cesar salad and they were excellent. I had the gnocchi and it was amazing. My husband had the pasta with meat sauce and it was delicious. The food was amazing but sometimes it seems Jason Dady has so many restaurants and they are good but could be great with a little more attention to details. I mean who is out of cheese and wine at an Italian restaurant???? We will be back because we so want this restaurant to be good consistently!
I have frequented this restaurant numerous times and usually enjoy it. However, on this occasion I was very disappointed with the service. The waiter approached our table immediately when we sat down to get our drink order, but we told him we needed a few more minutes. Then we didn’t see him again for at least 15 minutes and had to call him over to the table. He apologized and told us they were short handed. ( there were only about 5 other tables occupied. ) since he didn’t know about the wines, he sent the bartender over who was very knowledgeable and also refilled our now empty water glasses for us. We got our wine and placed our food order, which took about 20 minutes. Again we had to call our waiter over to refill our water glasses. The food was also marginal. I like my pasta il dente, but it was more like cardboard and my friend did not find her main course very tasty either.
Then the lights went out, which is no fault of the restaurant. However, we waited thirty minutes and no one coming back to our table, we finally had to ask for our bill and were told they would only be able to take cash.
I’m hoping this was just a fluke and an off day. Since I have had good experiences here before, I will try it again.
Attentive service without being overbearing, superb food, good selection of wines.
It was last night of Restaurant Week. The food was outstanding. The wine pairings complimented the food. Will definitely return.?

This place was great! Food was awesome, great ambiance and really a great place. The service was REALLY slow though. It took us over 2 hours from the time we were seated before we got our check. Our waiter was awesome and apologized quite a few times for the delays, but it could've been about a 1/2 hour shorter dinner in my opinion. It might have just been an off night for that, but the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food made up for it.
Very nice restaurant with great food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and comfortably casual.
Matt, the manager, and our server Zaresh (sp?) were great. We didn't have any issues, but Matt stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
When we first ordered, we told our server that we have an onion allergy, and he was very attentive and informative, and checked several times with the manager, the kitchen staff, and us, to be sure we were satisfied.
We will definitely be back. It's in a great location, so is perfect for work gatherings, too.
