   Our go-to restaurant in Ambler - turned out to be restaurant week so menu was limited (compared to usual menu) but as usual the food was great.

   The occasion was Ambler Restaurant Week. They were obviously not able to keep up. We reserved an outside table which was not ready when we arrived. We waited 20 minutes to be seated and another 10 minutes before the very harried server noticed us and provided a menu. They were very understaffed for a Friday night. Food did come out with a nice pacing and was well worth the wait. RW selections were great as were the presentations. One has to sit outside as the interior of the building [an old SEPTA station] is just too noisy to hold a conversation.

   We had tried this restaurant years ago and didn't enjoy it, but decided to give it another try during restaurant week. While we made a reservation through Open Table specifically for an outside seat, we were told when we arrived that outside seating was first come, first served. We waited and were eventually seated outside VERY close to the train tracks. Food was OK at best and not a good value at the $40 pp fixed price for Ambler Restaurant Week. My corn/crab custard appetizer was cooked to a dry, burnt mess and the entrée I chose (because the ratatouille couldn't be made w/o cheese, apparently) was a very odd choice for July … brisket (pot roast really) with root veggies. Not terrible, but not seasonal, either. At over $100 with tip for a byob meal, we sadly won't be returning :(

   Service was amazing and so was the food. Went during restaurant week so there was a limited selection, but what we had was delicious. Brisket and chicken both melt in your mouth. Outside is gorgeous with the train and the garden.

   open table made us a reservation for Tuesday July 3rd. When we got there it was closed. We called the restaurant July 5th to tell them about the mistake an asked them to call us back. Never heard from them. I guess they do not care! Had to add review or they would not post. never ate there

   Delicious food and a lovely ambience. Perfect for dinner before the theater or after an early movie in downtown Ambler. A neighborhood gem in the suburbs with a great view of the passing trains--and if you eat inside, without the accompanying noise. We sat in a lovey circular alcove and could barely hear the large group that was celebrating in the larger dining room. Our waitress was personable and attentive and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

   This was our first visit. It was a Tuesday evening with great weather so we got to eat outside and things were nicely quiet (although inside was a bit noisier.) The menu is limited but they had specials and the food was really very good and served right on time. Our server was inexperienced and it showed but no real complaints. We will be back there despite the 25 minute drive time. No hassle parking lot on the property as well and BYOB.

   Food is always exceptional. Delicious asparagus wrapped prosciutto, salmon, crab cakes, ribs!! GREAT BYO & wonderful outdoor dining.

    Great ambiance! The food was delicious. Salad was so fresh. We ordered the pan seared scallops with risotto and sautéed string beans. Fabulous!!! Will definite come back soon.
