Trattoria Zero Otto Nove
Delicious. Highly recommend the ratiatori!
Food was very average, disappointing as this restaurant is on my street. Major bummer were the profiteroles which were basically cream puffs with chocolate syrup...NO ICE CREAM.
We have loved Roberto's since it first opened and were thrilled to add Trattoria Zero Otto Nove on Arthur Avenue, FlatIron and in Armonk to our repertoire. Chef Roberto Paciullo is a master of truly great Italian food!
Excellent food and staff. Attentive service. Little loud on a Fri. Nite. Makes for difficult quiet conversations.
Everything was great, however I have to say, I went there specifically for their Truffle Alfredo dish and it was not worth $40. I was expecting more flavor in that dish and it was really disappointing.
All food is always great. You can only have a great meal at this place.
Great atmosphere - similar to the Arthur Ave location but a little fancier and more hip for the Manhattan crowd. Food was excellent and the service was friendly and very accomodating. Would definitely return!
The food is fresh and delicious and service is amazing. Friendly and appreciative towards their customers. We dine here casually but last took friends for a birthday celebration and they totally enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere and service bring me back to the hospitality and charm of southern Italy. An authentic experience. Highly recommend.
Great food and service.
A cozy atmosphere reminiscent of an Italian piazza, very attentive service and an interesting menu of pizzas, pastas, salads and entrees. The quality of the food is excellent, and the service level is high, which makes this a good spot for a high-end-casual business meal, or taking visitors from out of town. It feels like an "authentic" Italian experience.
I was able to make a reservation for seven at 7 pm just a few days in advance. Sometimes you worry that if a restaurant has availability, it might not be good. This is not the case with Zero Otto Nove. There’s something for everyone on this big menu. The server proficiently shared a dozen plus specials without notes. The lamb special was a highlight as was the pasta with broccoli rabe. It’s not inexpensive but reasonable for NYC. Portions were generous. We were seated by the kitchen but we still weren’t disrupted.
Great for a business lunch. Really, really good food!
Been here a number of times and it never disappoints. Food, service, atmosphere all outstanding! I highly recommend.
I have a food allergy and our server really cared and took the time to make sure I was choosing a dish that didn’t jeopardize my health. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic.
As ever Zero Otto Nove is just as good at providing excellent Italian cuisine as it’s sister restaurant in Arthur Avenue. Noise rating is only high as we ate their in Valentines Day and as expected it’s was busy with like minded couples. Will visit again without a doubt.
My boyfriend and I love this place, the menu is great - the service is good and the price points are fantastic for the quality. I would definitely recommend for a date, or a night with friends. All around great spot for Italian food
Very friendly and professional staff - from the moment we entered the restaurant we felt welcome. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The wait staff were attentive without hovering. This was a great dining experience and we will definitely be going back!
Tried this restaurant during restaurant week and liked it so much that I cancelled a Valentine’s Day reservation at another restaurant and made it for here. Was even better the second time. I eat out several times a week and am probably a bit jaded about it. This restaurant does everything correctly. Table spacing is good. Atmosphere is fine. Service and attention were on point. Cocktails came from the bar with hardly a wait. Food is delicious and served hot. It’s rare that everything works for me. My partner agrees wholeheartedly. We had an altogether terrific dinner.
Overall great experience. Food was great and service was phenomenal. Only thing to note was that after we ordered, our food was out within 10 minutes. Seemed to be too fast for a restaurant of this caliber. It was Valentine’s Day though, so potentially they had already made a lot of their most popular items ahead of time?
It was a nice valentines experience
Pre-Valentines day dinner. We look forward to returning.
Have eaten here a couple of times never had a bad experience.
Our server was friendly and excellent. The food was fabulous. They had a black ink spaghetti with lobster meat which was delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. We would definitely go back again in a heartbeat.
My favorite restaurant in NYC I'll be back next time I'm un town!
The experience was amazing. The food was fantastic, along with the ambiance and the service. Now our favorite place!
To sum it up, I definitely wouldn't go back. Nothing special about the evening and there is no place to wait if you're early for your dinner res when the bar is full.
The service was extremely fast. My friend and I were in and out in about an hour. However, the food was excellent and their bread was heavenly!
Seriously-I ate at the Bronx version on Arthur Ave.It was quite good. I should have known from the minute I entered with friends. Restaurant was EMPTY. This was MY recommendation. The restaurant is attractive enough. The price fixed restaurant week lunch offered only two courses. They were mediocre at best. I will need return. georgic's of Gramercy Park much better choice!!
Consistently very good in every way. Food is always delicious, in a nice setting with good service.
Off the charts
Fabulous Italian dinner. Best Osso Bucco I’ve had in nyc. Tables spread out so not too noisy. Great wine list- had delicious Montepulchiano.
A big cavernous space. Tons of tables. Lots of activity. We thought the bill was amazingly expensive for our order. And the pizza, which they promote, arrived cold! What?? Sorry, doesn't quite make it.,
Food was horrible and so was the service.
I will never go back to this restaurant.
Great table. Excellent red sauce joint - on par with best in the city. Great menu with all the staples and some interesting twists on things. All the food was outstanding, from the apps, to the pizzas to the main courses. All just great if you’re looking for the classics in a nice, unpretentious ambiance.
This is our absolute new favorite restaurant! Prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious! Their in-house pasta is made to perfection and the short rib dish is phenomenal!! Can't recommend them enough
Food was excellent. Service too. Only problem was the noise levels.
My sister and I went for restaurant week. The atmosphere is very relax and comfortable. the food delicious and the service out of this world. I would definitely recommend and go back when ever I am in the neighborhood.
Went here for restaurant week. I was immediately seated with a reservation. Very nice looking restaurant though lighting was quite dim, especially where I sat. Food was decent portions and delicious. Wide variety of options for Rest Week menu. Probably one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had as well in the city.
We first discovered Trattoria 089 on Arthur Avenue, when the hearty, delicious food at Roberto's and other restaurants on the street had us looking for lighter fare alternatives. We love the decor of Trattoria 089 and enjoy every dish served. So nice to find out we can visit your NYC place instead of driving up to the Bronx for lunch and dinner.
Excellent food and friendly staff! Always consistent !
