Trattoria Zero Otto Nove
Second time there in under a month - new favorite Italian place in the neighborhood. Great, classic dishes + attentive staff. Over the two times we visited we had: Apps - meatballs + zucchini parm, Pasta - special, short rib ravioli + special, veal ragu w pappardelle + pasta w sausage and smoked mozz, Pizza - Patate Salsiccia e Provola. ALL GREAT! The special pastas were highlights for sure. Great wine selection, too. What more could you want?
Great meal, great service
Best pizza around. And, order the radiatori pasta.
Always delicious food.
Wonderful!!! Wait staff superb and the food was absolutely delicious!!!
We had a great dining experience. Service was attentive. Cuisine very good and abundant. We will be back.
Food should be more delicious for this price
An expensive vine wine must be more delicious
The food was delicious and we never felt rushed. We were a party of ten and the only thing That might have improved our meal was a round table instead of a table that was rectangular. Will definitely come back!
Zero Otto Nove has been and is a fantastic place to indulge your taste buds in authentic and real food. It offers the best italian food!!!! There are many locations in Manhattan offering italian food but this is the best!!! Great to bring a group and share several dishes, homemade pasta is amazing!! Also, outstanding pizza menu!! Staff is great, going out of their way to make sure you have an excellent experience.
This was a birthday dinner with good friends I had not seen in several years. The food and wine was beyond excellent, and we were allowed to sit and linger and talk as long as we wanted over the wine. It was exactly what I wanted for the night, and I've been telling everyone I know that they should come here.
Really good food, good service. Very moderately priced (for NYC) Will be back
Zero Otto Nove never disappoints, it is consistently excellent with a great, varied menu. Have been there many times and enjoy the different pastas and especially the eggplant parm! The bar is great, has a good vibe after work, and the drinks are wonderful! You can't go wrong here.
always a delicious meal! Great service and ambiance.
Always a good meal and excellent service. We went mid afternoon on New Years Eve. It was very quiet and food was amazing. Kids loved their pizza and adults were happy with their pasta and veal!
Horrible food. Horrible Martini. Never again.
Avoid at all costs.
Both this location and the one on Arthur Ave are equally impressive. We are always excited to take someone new to Zero Otto Nove to watch them fall in love with the impeccable service, incredible dishes and wonderful atmosphere. The food is second to none, consistently delicious fresh and innovative.
We had an excellent meal and recommend this restaurant. Food, service and ambiance were all excellent.
This is a gem. Have eaten here many times and always have a delicious meal. Thank you to the wonderful bartender Freddie for making us always feel welcome and treats us like a VIP. Will be baok soon for certain!
Good, not great. Service was professional, but the food was alternately under then over seasoned. Drinks were nice. Just not as "yummy" as we'd hope.
Went for lunch twice, and the pasta cooked in tinfoil was delicious :)
This is a New York City institution. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city! While they are known for their woodfired pastors. They do an excellent pasta and their daily specials are not to be missed!
Excellent restaurant. Great pasta and fish entrees. Excellent set. Occasionally the pastas are too salty.
Delicious and lively
I love this restaurant and come for lunch with co workers on a regular basis. I was born in Italy and came to the US as a child. My mother is a fabulous cook and I know what great Italian food tastes like. That is why I go here.
Amazing food and so inventive! We had the tinfoil pasta and an aubergine starter, both were amazing. The food came out very quickly as well which was a plus! Our waiter was lovely very nice and helpful and the other waiters/waitresses were just as lovely. Really felt looked after there and would definitely reccomend!
It was a disappointment as I had dined in the Arthur Ave venue and was spectacular...
Absolutely no comparison.
I was a little disappointed after reading so many wonderful reviews of this restaurant. The veal was over cooked and the sauce lacked flavor. I also though the pizza lacked flavor
Margaherita pizza was delicious and the spaghetti and meatballs with goat cheese were exceptional.
Haven't been for a little while and it was as good as ever. great service, very good, quality food. Fun place on a holiday evening.
Great food and service!
When you can't get to Arthur Avenue, try this. Super food will distract you from the cacophony of millennials
Would def return.
This restaurant experience was outstanding! The ambiance is so comfortable and inviting. It is super clean and the service staff is so attentive. We had two pasta specials, a pizza, and dessert. Everything was expertly created and delicious.
Great place to go with my family while they were in town. There was something for everyone on the menu, and the food was delicious. Nice ambiance / space, and it was a good middle-ground for something that wasn't too fancy, but wasn't too casual.
We had a very good experience. The food and service were great. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. I would definitely go back. It was a little cold near the door where we were seated, but other than that I have no complaints.
The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. I mentioned that the four of us were just having appetizers (our friends were attending a Christmas party in the same restaurant’s party room upstairs and we were meeting them beforehand.). The hostess said she wouldn’t seat us and that appetizers were only served st the bar! So my husband said he was hungry and would order dinner. The four of us, had drinks and appetizers, pizza and our bill was about $200+ and she wasn’t going to seat us!
If the food wasn’t so delicious, I would have given a poor review. Who doesn’t seat a party if 4 in an empty restaurant? I’m sure the servers were happy to get something! I would recommend this restaurant otherwise everything was perfect.
Been wanting to visit this place for a while.. they do have a gluten free pasta option, that is fantastic. They unfortunately do not have a gluten free pizza option, and that is a bit disappointing. Enjoyed the appetizers, the meat and cheese plate, and loved the burrata. The antipasto plate of vegetables was good, not great. (Zucchini and Cauliflower great, Eggplant and Pepper good)
My guest told me that the bread that they give you on the table is delicious.
I will go back because I loved the service, the ambiance and the wine, Montepulciano.. and hopefully by then they will have a gluten free pizza option because they have a beautiful over for the pizza and I would love to be able to try their pizza!
Always very loud and crowded, if you looking for that kind of ambience.
