Trattoria Zero Otto Nove
Loved finding a really good new Italian restaurant in my neighborhood. I've been there a few times and actually enjoy eating at the bar more than the dining room (which can be VERY noisy due to design and acoustics).
I really enjoy the brick oven pizzas and specialty pastas - and the short ribs are AMAZING.
Excellent food with a neighborhood, local atmosphere. The linguine with seared scallops and smoked swordfish was absolutely excellent. Their bread is wonderful.
Amazing service - total team effort.
The restaurant was busy and a little too loud for our liking.
Bronzino was fishy and tasted frozen. Linguini with clams was very good, perfect amount of well cooked clams with light olive oil and garlic. Salads were fine nothing spectacular
We had a great time. Our table was ready early and they let us sit without the entire party present which was great because the bar doesn’t really have room for you to stand. All apps and food were delicious. Next time we will definitely try the pizzas! We sat downstairs and it definitely was a bit loud. It was hard to hear the person next to me. There is other seating I saw upstairs so maybe that is quieter. Great service.
Good dinner, but loud restaurant, hard to have a conversation
The quattro latte pizza was absolutely amazing - I recommend splitting as an appetizer since it's very rich. The wine was also very well priced and tasted great. Would definitely go back!
Second time there and it was great as before. Each time we went was for a birthday celebration. Love the look of the restaurant. Food delicious. Service was good.
Came here after seeing the amazing food on the real housewives. It was even better in real live. Drinks were wonderful as well. Very nice staff.
Atmosphere very warm similar to italy . Menu choices extensive ravioli special heavy in cream sauce . Told butter n sage . Chicken bland
Always a great meal with attentive service.
We enjoyed a long leisurely dinner with friends on Saturday night. The drinks were flowing and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the short rib and the seafood salad. This is a great Italian restaurant that should not be overlooked.
My dish was poorly done. The chef should not make soft shell crabs if he or she doesn’t know how.
Have eaten here several times. Great neighborhood Italian. Pizza is great, the pasta cooked in foil is great, branzino is great, chicken scarpariello is great. Perfect for a nice dinner out when you just want a delicious meal in a not too loud place and are not looking for a major night out on the town.
The wait staff was AMAZING. So attentive, respectful, on point. Very professional.
In town for dinner with friends.
Food is superb, fresh and attractively plated. Staff excellent -friendly, helpful, pleasant but unobtrusive. First time for me at the NYC/Flatirons zero restaurant at dinner time - in past only had been there for lunch and several time for lunch and dinner at their Armonk restaurant. The noise level at dinnernin thr Flatiron was unbearable, could not even hear someone at my table seated next to me without our having to shout and repeat ourselves. This was even when seated upstairs. Place is attractive, food unbelievable good and would have rated 5 stars in every category easily had it. It been for the decibel level. Impossible to relax and enjoy the dinner fully. Oh and by the way - the tiramisu is simply superb, flavors delicate and nicely balanced. Sadly we rushed through dessert it was just too loud in there for us to talk. Will go again but absolutely not Friday night for dinner!
You feel like you’re in a mob bosses hide out once you get in past the bar. A great place with a great look and feel that adds to the terrific food and drink selection. We’ll be back.
It is a very comfortable dining room with a relaxing ambiance. The service was excellent! Leo was very patient and helpful. He recommended a beef sausage appetizer special that was delicious! My cocktail - the Zenzero e Fico - was smooth and satisfying. The seafood "soup" was so tasty, nice with whole wheat penne. The escarole and arugula salads are large but easy to make disappear. :) The cherry on top was the most unique cannoli that I've ever had, with the perfect balance in the sweetness of the cream and the crispiness of the shell. This was our first, definitely not last, time here. We'll be back - with friends! :)
mediocre on every level and the stereotypical aloof wait staff is getting boring
Top notch pasta. Melazzane was excellent!
Food was generally very good, except the cornish hen was very dry (overcooked). I do better at
home. The rest was very good including the service.
And of course, like any place in Manhattan these days: very noisy. It is difficult to maintain a
As an appetizer I had the shrimps with white beans, and it was probably the best white bean dish I have ever had. However, the shrimps were baby ones and just okay, would have been perfect served with two large shrimps instead. As the main dish I had the special which was the sea bass wrapped in foil with baby clams, it was AWESOME, I inhaled it! I also got a side order of pasta with olive oil and garlic which was perfect, really. They offered a good selection of wines by the glass to choose from. The service was good. I am 100% going back.
Delicious. Highly recommend the ratiatori!
Loved it - ready to go back!
Food was very average, disappointing as this restaurant is on my street. Major bummer were the profiteroles which were basically cream puffs with chocolate syrup...NO ICE CREAM.
We have loved Roberto's since it first opened and were thrilled to add Trattoria Zero Otto Nove on Arthur Avenue, FlatIron and in Armonk to our repertoire. Chef Roberto Paciullo is a master of truly great Italian food!
Excellent food and staff. Attentive service. Little loud on a Fri. Nite. Makes for difficult quiet conversations.
Everything was great, however I have to say, I went there specifically for their Truffle Alfredo dish and it was not worth $40. I was expecting more flavor in that dish and it was really disappointing.
All food is always great. You can only have a great meal at this place.
Great atmosphere - similar to the Arthur Ave location but a little fancier and more hip for the Manhattan crowd. Food was excellent and the service was friendly and very accomodating. Would definitely return!
I was expecting tastier food. It was pretty marginal. Service was subpar. Waiter was not very friendly.
The food is fresh and delicious and service is amazing. Friendly and appreciative towards their customers. We dine here casually but last took friends for a birthday celebration and they totally enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere and service bring me back to the hospitality and charm of southern Italy. An authentic experience. Highly recommend.
Great food and service.
A cozy atmosphere reminiscent of an Italian piazza, very attentive service and an interesting menu of pizzas, pastas, salads and entrees. The quality of the food is excellent, and the service level is high, which makes this a good spot for a high-end-casual business meal, or taking visitors from out of town. It feels like an "authentic" Italian experience.
I was able to make a reservation for seven at 7 pm just a few days in advance. Sometimes you worry that if a restaurant has availability, it might not be good. This is not the case with Zero Otto Nove. There’s something for everyone on this big menu. The server proficiently shared a dozen plus specials without notes. The lamb special was a highlight as was the pasta with broccoli rabe. It’s not inexpensive but reasonable for NYC. Portions were generous. We were seated by the kitchen but we still weren’t disrupted.
Great for a business lunch. Really, really good food!
Been here a number of times and it never disappoints. Food, service, atmosphere all outstanding! I highly recommend.
I have a food allergy and our server really cared and took the time to make sure I was choosing a dish that didn’t jeopardize my health. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic.
As ever Zero Otto Nove is just as good at providing excellent Italian cuisine as it’s sister restaurant in Arthur Avenue. Noise rating is only high as we ate their in Valentines Day and as expected it’s was busy with like minded couples. Will visit again without a doubt.
