Homemade hand rolled potato dumplings in our creamy rosé sauce
We love this place!! Thank you Rosina.
Awesome gnocchi and pizza. Real authentic Italian restaurant. Loved meeting the mother of the owner who passed down her reciepes
Food was very good though portions were a bit small. Service was extremely slow for a Sunday night. Took well over an hour to get our food. Marinara sauce was particularly good though salad was overdressed and oily.
Showed up for our reservation and the store was closed. There was a sign in the doorway saying to try the food at the place next door.
I made my reservation on open table and trekked down to the restaurant only to find a sign outside saying they were closed. I understand things happen but the least they could have done is notify me since they have both mu phone number and email. Very unprofessional.
Love the ambiance
Food was amazing, tastes so authentic. The customer service was outstanding as well, offering us water and checking on us. With a wide variety of choices from pasta to pizza, the food came i. so quick! Definitely would come again and try something new (or try the same dish again).
Wonderfull small Trattoria, with homemade pasta. Delicious!
Everything was just perfect. The food was amazing, the service fantastic.
One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had since living in Toronto. They made me wait an hour and 15 minutes to received my food. Pasta tasted like alphagetti I kid you not. My girlfriend said the exact thing and she's from Sicily.
Never coming back here again and I don't recommend anyone should.
As always the food is amazing and the services is super, just if they could make the portion size a little bigger :)
Fantastic! This place (and its sister restaurant "Rosina" on King) has the best pizza I've had in Toronto. Pasta is similarly delicious. Highly recommend the Penne Rosina, and the Venezia pizza (I swap gorgonzola for arugula and it's amazing!)
I booked a reservation for my friend's birthday. We were a group of 5 people and every single one of the dishes we ordered were delicious. This was our first visit but definitely won't be our last. Thank you for the great service and even better food.
The food was superb! Unfortunately the kitchen was backed up so the service was very, very slow.
The food was very good specially the lasagna. The founder grandmother came out to greet us which was incredibly nice!
Ordered a fetuccine Alfredo pasta; it was overpriced, a small portion and bland. The restaurant seemed understaffed and the service was poor and slow. Will not be returning.
This is our favourite Italian food in the city! It is authentic, fresh, and delicious. The restaurant is family run and this shines through in the service. You will not be disappointed!
Food and drink was wonderful. Eating on the patio under the umbrella was nice and lots of pretty lighting along College Street. Tables were well spaced. Service was slow and sporadic, our wait staff seemed to have a disproportionate number of tables.
Love this place. The food is delicious and prices are super reasonable. Service is great and patio location is right in the middle of busy Little Italy.
We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, service was prompt and the staff were so friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend!
Wonderful food and very attentive staff, a nice chat with Rosita
Great service and food was excellent
The food was wonderful! We started with some meatballs and bread. Main courses lasagna and chicken parmesan. Both were excellent. The table were outside on a platform between the sidewalk and street. It was evening and could have used a little creative lighting. Also some fans to provide air movement. Other than that I was extremely pleased. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Toronto. The pomodoro fantastic!
We make our own pasta and cook with fresh ingredients so we can be tough to please when it comes to Italian fare but you won’t be disappointed at Traverniti. The food is fantastic and service excellent. A no frills, great value establishment that we plan to visit again!!!
Best pasta i have ever had, including the meals i had in Italy. Very authentic and they are all super friendly.
Service was just ok but food is below average
Fantastic food and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend.
So lovely! Would return 100%
We had a small Birthday gathering with 5!! Kids. All of us were so happy with the place and service. The food is delicious, drinks, and awesome deserts.
Thank you, Donna Taverniti, we are definitely coming back 😉.
We visited Trattoria Taverniti after an absence of 2 years and everything was as great as before. The food was yummy and the service just right on a beautiful summer evening.
Food was amazing! Wine amazing! Best Italian food in a long time, great service thank you for the date night food
Really tasty food, lovely atmosphere, would definitely go again!
Best Italian restaurant in Toronto. Very casual and relaxed vibe - gives you that homely feeling overall in terms of setting, service and food. Appetizers, pasta, bread and wine was excellent, and the pizza was the best in town.
I highly recommend this place and will certainly return.
I love this place. Delicious homemade pasta, lovely service, it’s one of my fave spots in the the neighbourhood.
Waitresses were awesome!
Amazing food and great service!
The food was not the best but the servers were very nice.
Customer service was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience.
I ordered the classic bruschette and the penne Rosa. Both good dishes with lots of flavours.
If you looking for a real Italian restaurant , please try this one out!
Lovely evening. Cozy patio and amazing carbonara/Margherita
Food and service was great! The mushroom and truffle tagliatelle was amazing!! Would definitely order that again. The patio is on college street, covered from any rain, and feels cozy and charming because it’s in the heart of little Italy.
