Trattoria Rosa Bianca Ratings and Reviews
Very cool how this old house has been transformed into a restaurant. Nice cozy feel and décor. Everything we had was very good. tastes are low key, but solid showing. The service was a little standoffish though with half the staff. Half the staff was very friendly, then the other half seemed bothered to have us there. I would go back if in the area though to try some more things.
This was the 3rd year that the restaurant has hosted the gathering of our local book club. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. We were given a private room on the second floor which was a lovely surprise. The food was delicious as always. Thank you Rosa Bianca for a great night out for 9 of your biggest fans. Keep up the great work.
The first time we visited this restaurant, everything was perfect. The second time, two weeks later, things went completely the other way. Not sure if I will go back. Food was good, but there were issues with overbooking; overworking wait staff and the customers took the brunt.
Dined here two out of the last 3 Sundays. Very good service and food. The meatball app is very good and the pork loin special was tasty. The wife enjoyed the scallop special with risotto. The waiter has been there for a long time and is very good. Nice BYOB.
Food was good. The sausage/broccoli rabe app was excellent. The sirloin special was also prepared nicely. Service is always friendly and attentive, although this visit we were not offered dessert. The salads are always fresh and dressings are tasty too. Good BYOB always consistent.
This is our number one dining spot, even though it is 13 miles from home. We have only had good experiences there with the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Rosa and her husband have a true gem there in Yardley. The servers are all wonderful, especially Andrea. The menu is always interesting and changes with the seasons. You should always save room for The lemon torte dessert, it is spectacular.
Food was nothing that Great. The Broccoli Rabe was VERY bitter. It was not uneatable just nothing I would write home about. Did not OOHH and AHHH any of us. Menu was very limited being an Italian restaurant they had no Spaghetti and clams on the menu. Atmosphere was great and people were very nice.
Fresh delicious Italian food with an inventive flair, while still retaining traditional flavors.
Pastas sauces are delicious, unfortunately the pasta itself was over cooked. I would certainly ask for al dente pasta upon my next return. We WILLand I look forward to it.
Salads are excellent and my swordfish was fresh , tasty and perfectly prepared.
A true find, don’t hesitate to go.....you won’t be disappointed .
What a terrific find! We were staying in Langhorne and last time in the Philly area I remember eating at a great restaurant in Yardley, so we searched for options. Love Italian and the option for BYOB, so we thought we'd give it a try. Wow, what a blessing! The food was incredible and the server--Mario I think--was so attentive and caring about my onion allergy. We were there for a special dinner with our daughter who came up from Pittsburgh and we had a delightful evening. Everything we ate was melt in your mouth. Gnocchi with blueberries and white balsamic reduction was to die for. Cavatelli with crab and corn...oh my. Wish we lived closer!
I heard great reviews about this restaurant and was disappointed by our experience. Once seated by the less than friendly hostesses who were playing on their phones upon arrival, we eventually saw our server. He brought our drinks and then didn't return for another 20minutes. Once he did, he rushed through the specials and rushed taking the order. After the order another 10min passed before bread arrived. The main entrees were ok...nothing to special. After the mean we wanted dessert but new it would take forever for the server to come back...we were right. It took another 10 minutes to even offer us a dessert menu..finally the check and the some more waiting. Overall, not a great experience.
The food was terrific. Got one of the specials. Service was slow. Waiter didn’t take our order for a half hour or so and was slow to return to the table. No bread served. Not sure if the waiter or the restaurant. We’ve been many times and service has been good in the past
Our first time at this restaurant; everything we had heard about the food was absolutely true. The polpette appetizer was the best ever. Reggie our server was terrific, took the time to explain in detail the ingredients in each dish. We dine out often and will definitely return.
We met friends and had a lovely casual dining experience. Our server Dean was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent flexibility to adjust entree dishes to our wishes.
The entree selection covers the main items In addition there is a daily choice of several delightful specials. Worthy of more visits.
The noise level while substantially improved ove the last several years continue to be a challenge. Despite that we had a delightful dining experience.
We were disappointed in our table. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived but even with reservations, we were seated at a table by the restrooms and in a room where a table had been set up for a large group. They were very loud and we couldn't have a conversation.
