Trattoria Romana Ratings and Reviews
Food is outstanding. One of the best meals I have ever had. Had a shrimp dish served oregonatta style with chesse on top. Shrimp were huge and delicious. The service was excellent. Very attentive waiter. Nice wine list but a little pricey. You will spend some money but it is worth it.
This is a busy restaurant, combined with tables being quite close to one another, the noise level is quite high, but high good, as it adds to the ambiance and charm of this authentic Italian eatery.
First, my wife and I have to rave about the service and particularly our waiter Bobby.
He welcomed us from the get-go and was a wealth of information and provided us some guidance as to both the menu and the wine list.
When he asked if we wanted to know the nite's specials, little did we expect him to rattle off
without a hitch details of each and every appetizer and entree.
Bobby helped us choose and so enjoy both our appetizer and entrees.
Depending upon what you order, this restaurant can be a little more expensive than the average Italian eateries, but well worth it.
Make some time to spend an evening here.
We enjoyed and definitely will be back, and hopefully get to enjoy Bobby's attention once again.
The service and the food was excellent! We were a party of 4 and no one had anything negative to say about any of our dishes from the appetizers, entrees and desserts. Service was also superior.
The only negative things I could say was getting into the parking lot for the valet service could be a challenge but a little patience and you were greeted by immediate service. Noise level is quite high in the dining room.
While we’ve been here many times tonight it was as if we were their worst customers. We arrived at 4:58 after being told by reservations confirmation to “not be late” but they weren’t ready to seat anyone so we had to wait and then they started seating others before us. When I finally went up and asked for help they offered us horrific seats - when I asked for a different seat they said they’re all taken yet the entire time we were there half the tables were open. As for the food the buratta was so cold it was frozen, the linguine with lobster was tasteless and like warm and overall the service was rushed and not enjoyable. I’ll not go back here - too many other great choices in Boca.
This crowded so called upscale restaurant that has plenty of patrons, was an incredible disappointment. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived, we were told we’d have to wait at least 20 min to be seated. We opted for outdoors. The first table we sat rocked like a ship during a storm. The next was next to a protective covering that hit the table every time a car went by. So with that start we ordered. We had two appetizers. The crab cake - just ok- and half order of linguini ala vongele blanco- worst I’ve ever eaten. My wife had veal Milanese and I had chicken scarpariello. Both bland and mediocre. Dessert was tiramisu with a lonely candle. Honestly, why people haunt this place amazes me. Give it a 2. So many better and less expensive in Boca.
