Great service and meal. The veal Milanese is wonderful.
Friendly service, great food. Accommodated our large party of 8 without s problem. Definitely we will be back
Great food at a fair price. Wait staff very helpful.
Thoroughly enjoyed our romantic dinner date. Great food, good service.
Great food and service. This is a wonderful place - HIGHLY recommend!
Our service was outstanding, Amanda was an execellant choise to represent this establishment. Thank you for a nice evening
It was our first time at this restaurant and we were very pleased with the food and service. A little noisy and they ran out of an appetizer special at 6:45 but overall very good and would go again.
This restaurant was a great find. Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend for any event.
As usual, Trattoria Romana did not disappoint. The food and service are always outstanding. We will be back soon, for sure.
Been here many times and it was generally good / very good. But this time it was an abomination. Server who is usually good was pleasant but not attentive. Tables around us were served while we waited. One meal was so bad that the person ended up sick from it and she only ate a little before telling the server to take it away. Can't help but wonder where the previous consistent food quality and service has gone.
Everyone in our party raved about their food. One person said it was the best vitello marsala she had ever had.
Our waitress was very accommodating even when we asked for separate checks.
Cosmopolitans were delicious.
We definitely will dine here again.
We sat outdoors, avoiding the noisier and a bit too cold inside. But indoors seemed to have nice ambience. Outdoors faces a parking area but not much car action. NP. Food was very good and portions were plentiful. We had veal Romano and a chicken dish. Waiter neglected to tell us about specials and about an off menu cab when I asked for a cab. (She soon thereafter told another table about the specials and the off menu cab.).
atmosphere is great! Service and food is excellent!
We went there as a family of five to celebrate our mother’s birthday. We were greeted wonderfully and taken right to our table per the time of our reservation. The service was excellent, the menu was impeccable and the overall food and experience was everything we had hoped it would be. We continually come back to this establishment because we’re treated like family.
This was my second time eating at this restaurant. My prior experience was that the food was very good. Sadly, the food was NOT good this visit. We started with the calamari and it was very salty and very fishy tasting. I had one of the specials, Baked Stuffed Shrimp with crabmeat for $32.00. There was not a scrap of crabmeat in the stuffing and the shrimp were way overcooked and dry. Even the pasta was dry and the spinach in it tasted funny. My son said the same about the spinach in his pasta as well. He felt his dinner was "awful" as well. My other two sons said theirs were "ok". No one had anything to brag about. Just a disappointing birthday dinner all in all. I did not complain to the waitress and I should have told her. No reflection on her, she was a very good and friendly server.
We sat outside on a lovely summer early evening, so noise was not an issue. As a matter of fact, we were the only table sitting outside for the first forty minutes or so. That made it even better. Food was good, but a little pricey.
Great food! Service was excellent! We were with a group of 8. Loved the round table so we could all interact. One of us was gluten free and they had lots to offer her.
The service was lovely and they honored our reservation and our large (9 - 3 kids) party, but the food needs a serious uptick. We've been coming since they opened and always have high hopes, but in the past 2 years there's been only disappointment. The menu is ambitious - but just because you pour San Marazano tomatoes out of a can, doesn't make it a sauce.
Most disappointing - don't think we'd ever come back.
The food, service and drinks were all excellent! There were so many amazing options. We would definitely go back!
We were very disappointed in the lasagna. This was our favorite dish and it is still on the website as the "Alla Corinna" but now "Mama" must have changed her recipe and replaced the creamy cheese filling with a greasy Bolognese and just a sprinkle of mozzarella. We had been looking forward to to our favorite dish.
Insufficient wait staff. Not the waiter's fault. I don't think. Cocktails delayed. Then ordered wine and asked to be sure that it arrived before entrees. Was assured that was fine. Could not manage to do it. Asked food deliverer to check on wine and still no service. Too bad. Hard to work with enjoy pastas without wine. Not sure why timing was so poor. Not usually this bad but will not be back anytime soon.
We went here for my husband's 60th birthday. We had six different appetizers and entrees and everyone's food was fabulous. One very special bonus for such an upscale restaurant is that they offer a great selection for vegetarians. Much appreciated!! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service. We'll definitely be back here for other special occasions.
Tonight my wife had a salad and the Carbonara, I had a salad and chicken Frances. We both agreed that the meals were two of the best we have had and we eat out a lot. We really enjoyed it and the drinks were great as well.
Trattoria Romano is a classic upscale Italian Restaurant. Everything we ordered was freshly cooked and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. We have been here several times in the past, and we expect to continue to return.
One of the finest Italian dishes I’ve ever eaten was a pork chop Milanese that I had on a previous visit.
I have recommended Trattoria Romano to several people, and Will continue to recommend it.
Made note in reservation that it was my wife’s birthday but did not experience anything special.
Always a great experience. Consistently good food and service. One of our favorite places.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Great Italian food. Drove up from Westerly. Recommend Lasagna, Onion Soup and meatballs. A must if you are in Narragansett.
Excellent waitress. Excellent food. Food is always great
We go here every year to close our 2 week vacation. Staff is great and food is wonderful
Enjoy it each time
Dinner was great but server forgot to bring our leftovers
The food tasted GREAT!!! The Caesar salad was skimpy, my real concern was related to the service. Our server was pleasant, but it took her 10 +/- minutes to acknowledge us, long time for drinks, no ground pepper offered for Caesar salad and it took a long time to get the check. I think many of the servers are new.
NO THANK YOU. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE YUCK YUCK YUCK
Excellent evening with friends. Everyone ordered something different and loved their own dish.
Delish..we'll be back.
We have dined here several times over the past few years and have never been disappointed in the food and the dining experience. Good variety of options, and always several specials that are worthy of consideration. Nice desserts are another plus. I do not recommend seating in the outdoor "front patio", as there is no view (other than the parking lot) and it is sometimes noisy and somewhat claustrophobic with the tent sides down.
The interior dining is a much nicer and upscale option.
We really enjoy dining at this restaurant very much! The food is wonderful and the service is excellent! The daily specials are always interesting and delicious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It is so convenient for us because we live nearby. Thank you Tattorria Romano for being one of our favorite restaurants!!!💕😍😘
God great as always, Kelly was great.
One of the very best restaurants in Rhode Island. Excellent Italian food. The homemade pastas are especially good as a side. The service is always excellent as well. Consistently superb, highly recommended.
I requested a cozy table and we got one, great food and service!
I ordered the steak asked for it as rare as possible. Came out medium. Not the waitress fault. She entered blue. My wife ordered the Gnocchi marinara. It was swimming in a cup of oil on top of the sauce. She couldn’t even eat it. The only thing good coming out of the kitchen there was the bread and the olive oil that they mix with balsamic, salt, and pepper. We won’t be visiting there again.
