The food was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, loved the experience of eating here - the staff were friendly and very helpful with my gluten-free needs. The wine was delicious (we now have some new favorites) and the food was absolutely delicious. The picatta was the favorite of the night for my husband and I. The gluten free options were more than most restaurants have and I ended up chosing two dishes because I couldn't pick just one. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will be back soon.

Excellent restaurant in Montecito. It is very close to the Montecito Inn and we would recommend it to anyone staying there. Pleasant ambiance, quiet surroundings, tables not close together. Service was very good, decor is excellent.

Can't get enough of Mollie's turkey meatballs. I CRAVE them and they never let me down. Always delish.

Although, I enjoyed the food, the staff seemed confused about who was waiting on our table. Not good for a date due to its open floor plan, so it was noisey. Lasagna was good. Might try it again for lunch, but not dinner.

Over the top a different dining experience. Food is not good it is great and served by people who care about hospitality. You won't be strangers long unless you choose to be.

We always love eating here. The fish soup was a special several years ago and I tried it and fell in love. It is THE BEST. As it is not on the daily menu, I always ask if they will make it and they always do. I'm addicted. The table next to us heard us talking about the fish soup with the waiter. They also ordered it and said it was the highlight of their meal.
Everything else we have had here is also very delicious!

The evening started with our table not being ready. There is no waiting area especially with the cold weather.
After being seated, the service was friendly and the food came out in an orderly manner.
Our food was excellent but unfortunately, I have to sample the desserts on my next visit.

The food itself tasted great. The service, not so great. They only serve wine and beer and the team are very slow even though there were more servers than tables when we were there. A lot of the menu items were sold out and we were not told this at the beginning. Actually, I had to go to the bar and get my own menus then there were large periods of time between being checked on. There was never a check back on the food once it was delivered after a long delay and then the departure process - we were on our own after we paid the check. There was never a farewell or a thank you provided.

Disappointing across the board. Osso Buco was grey, mushy and probably microwaved, looking more like leftover stew. Just about the worst bolognese sauce I have ever eaten, and I lived in Asia for six years! Very limited wine selection and no bar! Service was great but that's the only nice thing I can say. Probably a hot spot 20 years ago when Santa Barbara had no restaurants. Olive Garden would actually be a couple steps UP from this.

Nice, tranquil place to dine. Never felt rushed. Food is dependable and comforting. Lovely neighborhood patrons.

Mollie has been turning out outstanding Italian food at this location for the last 24 years. Delightful staff where lots of locals eat. If in the area and want outstanding food this is not to be missed. We always make this place our first night's stop when we arrive in town. Kind of a tradition.

We love the food here, and Mollie is an amazing host! Our 5 year old daughter knows a good soul, and she and Mollie hit it off straight away! The meatballs are legendary and worth trying. Portions are sized to allow for dessert, and you’ll want to try them all. Cognac affogato can’t be beat! Best kids buttered pasta (I know!) we’ve ever ordered, anywhere. Period.

My family came to Trattoria Mollie to celebrate our sister, Erlinda's 70th Birthday. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, exceeding our expectations. Our group ordered different dishes, sharing the dishes to let others taste. All agreed every dish was scrumptious and worth every bite.
