We’ve never had anything but excellent food and service here. Perfect place for dinner before a show or game at Ryman, Bridgestone, Nissan, etc.
Really bad service and long wait for food that was mediocre at best. Don’t go there. Ever. Even if it’s free. I really mean it.
For two people, one was a minor, the price didn’t met the quality of food. While everything else was great, you’re primarily paying for the food; and, I was underwhelmed.
The food was terrific and service was excellent. I highly recommend for a romantic evening!
Well about half way through our dinner a woman came and sat at our table and began panhandling us. I ended up fiver $20 just to get her to go away.
Made several eye contacts with the server during this with the expression to come over, she did not.
When she did, I told her what had occurred and a manager never came to the table to apologize.
Our table was located near the back door open to the Marriott and people kept opening and closing door looking lost and using as an exit.
We go to this restaurant every time we visit our son in Nasville. Great food, wait staff and very helpful.
Mothers Day dinner.
We would unequivically recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and the choices were varied. The service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. We would recommend Il Mulino to anyone who wants fine dining, delicious Italian cuisine; and fair pricing.
The atmosphere is nice and the bar is comfortable but our server was very scatterbrained even when it wasn’t that busy. We kept getting served by two different servers which made things go slower and caused confusion about drinks and food getting put into the computer. The drinks were all delish! The food was good too but nothing special for $25-$50 a plate. Overall it was a fine choice but I imagine there is better around town for the same price if not less expensive.
Disappointing since we are regular visitors to Trattoria Il Mulino and typically love it. Home-made pasta was thoroughly overcooked, salmon was tiny and my rare order came out well done. Server was pleasant but had too many tables to attend to us well. I will give them another chance though
The good was quite good. The service was...interesting. I spent a few years in fine dining and I notice more than the average customer. We felt like the servers weren’t fully educated on the menu or the wine list. Our white wine came out at room temperature, so we had to ice it. I assume there wasn’t much communication between co-servers. Our second server came over and noticed our glasses had very little wine, so she grabbed it out of the ice. When I explained we were chilling the bottle, she open-palm punched the bottle back into the ice. I would expect a little more finesse and education for a $200 dinner.
Anniversary dinner. Everything was great. Thank you!
Trattoria’s atmosphere and location are great. The food was pretty good but fell short of expectations. The arancini and risotto where spectacular but our mains dishes where not overly impressive. Their wine menu is decent and reasonable but neither one of our service team knew the wine menu more than at a basic high level.
Food and staff are really good. A little wait but it was worth it.
Food was bland, atmosphere was fantastic, service was decent.
Delightful evening at Trattoria II Mulino. The food was great (all 4 of the guests ordered something different and all liked what they ordered) and the service was excellent.
Tasty Eats! Great Atmosphere, large wine list!!!!!!!!!
Nothing was great and definitely not as good as the nyc location, although the prices were nyc . White pizza linguine clams chicken Parmigiana and truffle ravioli were all bland and slightly greasy. Go somewhere else for a meal.
Plenty of better options in Nashville. The food was mediocre and we paid $85 for a bottle of red wine that was served at room temperature.
Great food quick service! Mussels and pizza! Yum.
Started out great. Appetizers including Burrata with watermelon and rice balls were tasty and well prepared. Things went south with the main courses. My fellow diners pork chop was cold and under seasoned. My spaghetti was beyond hot and our Brussel sprouts were raw. We told our server and she cooked the stouts more but didn’t have much I say about the chop. It was clear they made the chop and had it sitting while the prepped the other dishes. The manager stopped by too while my friend was in the restroom and asked how things were and I told him about the mains. He basically said “oh sorry” and walked away. They took the Brussels off the bill, but it wasn’t about the money, the lack of ownership in the meal and service is what will
Have us not be back.
Dinner Saturday evening was delightful. Everyone was happy with their entrees: fettuccine with Parmesan cream, the mushroom ravioli, and a seafood trio dish. The Arancini and calamari were some of the best ever! As a slight criticism, the size of the asparagus and the spinach side dishes were ‘slight’ to say the least - especially the spinach - looked like maybe a handful uncooked...
Service was as it should be. Pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.
Service was very slow. It took 1 1/2 hours to be served. The veal Marsala was inedible. The veal and the sauce were burnt. Sent back and gave up on waiting for another entree. We were told service was slow because a large party was seated right before us. The staff told us this every 30 minutes.
Food was excellent!
Our service was intermittent and we had to ask for bread which was not warm. Otherwise very good. Best ceaser salad and calamari. Clam linguine very light and tasty
Always pleased with the experience here. The food and service is great.
Very unique experience. Upscale. Rack of Lamb excellent!
Food was delicious and the customer service was perfect
Great food. Outstanding service. Had a great birthday celebration. Our server, Jake, made the night. He invited us get what we wanted even if it was a combination of menu items. I took advantage of that. He also offered, when asked, some helpful tips to first time visitors to Nashville.
I noted that we were celebrating our anniversary when I made my reservation. When we arrived, we were wished a happy anniversary and at our reserved table, there was a kind note from the restaurant. We started with the tuna tartare, then lamb and fish for our entrees. For dessert, we had the lemon tiramisu & salted caramel gelato. Everything was delicious, the service was very good. We had a great time.
Great! Wonderful meal!
Awesome experience as always! Service is always friendly and efficient and we love to celebrate any occasion
Service was poor. Disappointing.
Apps were good. Main courses were extremely bland and for the prices charged, we were very disappointed. Server was kind and did not charge us for one of our main dishes. Not sure we’d go back.
Very delicious menu. Nice atmosphere and good service.
Food was delicious! Pacing was just right! Service was excellent! I have already told two colleagues about how good everything was!
The host was very snooty and the bread was really bad food not bad but not good either would not reccomend
Definitely worth a trip again!!
