Italian is our favorite and we were not disappointed
Second time at Il Mulino. Outstanding food and ambiance. I would highly recommend to friends and family. Best restaurant experience I have had in Nashville, hands down.
Nothing like the wonderful New York restaurant. Just ok.
Trattoria Il Mulino Nashville is an attractive and comfortable restaurant, open late, with good service and wonderful Northern Italian food. It is convenient to the Bridgestone Arena and the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall and is a downtown treasure. We always enjoy it and always look forward to our next visit.
The food and atmosphere were amazing! We’re picky about our Italian since honeymooning in Italy, but this place didn’t disappoint!
Fay and Steven are excellent waiters, and the food is always excellent. Finally, make certain that you don’t rush when deciding what types of bread to choose with your dinner. There are 5 or 6 choices, and just like the entree selections, they are wonderful.
We made a reservation for 7:30 requesting a booth. When we got there the hostess told us to go to the bar. There were several tables and a booth available. No where to sit at the bar. When I asked her again, she did not respond. Finally I brought up the empty booth and she apologized for not seeing our request. Totally ridiculous response. The restaurant was not crowded. Waiter was great and made up for our delay in seating.
We were attending an event at the Ryman and made reservations on a whim. I am glad we did. We commented to our waiter that it had been 6 years since we had been any where so nice. The food was excellent - he recommended 1/2 portions of the ravioli when I couldn't make up my mind which to try which was an excellent choice. When we ordered dessert he also brought us some sea salt caramel gelato to try - it was excellent. We definitely will be back.
I was hesitant due to a hotel location but the menu drew me in. I'm glad to write that I was not disappointed. There are two locations: New York and Nashville. Items range from wood fired pizza to Colorado lamb, which is hard to find in most cities. The menu is not extensive..there's something for everyone.
The grilled octopus is a must have. It was heavenly. The fish special was served with an aromatic red rice, which was excellent.
I will dine here when I return to Nashville.
Everything was great, food, wine and service. However we had one negative experience. While we were eating our meal a panhandler came to our table and asked for money. We informed our waiter, however I believe the panhandler had vacated the restaurant by then.
Excellent excellent excellent! Food was delicious. Drinks perfect. Service perfect. Loved it and went back for lunch two days later. Ditto! Love this place.
excellent gluten free option!
My wife and I were in town to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and the staff exceeded all expectations. For anyone new to OpenTable I recommend using the comments section. I mentioned the occasion when I made a reservation a month ago. The hostess, manager, and wait staff all came over to wish us a Happy Anniversary. Manager assigned us 2 waiters and they gave us everything except the shirts off their backs (they probably would have if we asked). They treated us like family! Which is why I dearly miss their Chicago restaurant.
The food was excellent! I highly recommend the Burrata as an appetizer. Followed by the Chicken in Crosta and Filet Mignon. A side order of any of their pastas would not go amiss.
Thank you with all my heart for making our night special! And PLEASE come back to Chicago! There are now very few Italian places here that understand that family and food should always go hand in hand.
Arugula pesto was amazing. Desserts delicious. Overall wonderful dining experience.
We had a wonderful dinner here. The room was quiet and spacious, the service friendly and attentive, and the food terrific. We are locals and we will be back. Trattoria Il Mulino may be the best Italian restaurant in Nashville.
Good, quality food. Very slow service for the low volume of customers.
Overall a very good experience with good food and service
Great food and service was top notch
We popped in for a date night here, and it was the perfect setting. The ambiance was nice, we could talk to each other without having to scream to be heard, and the food was AMAZING. Plus, you could not ask for better service.
The menu was hard to read/understand. The food was okay but not close to the price. We had 2 servers and someone weren’t seen for over 15 minutes.
Service staff was hurried. Trying to push to turn the table
Outstanding food and service. Great place for a special occasion and/or before a downtown event.
The food was good but overpriced. Service was sharp
Vacation with my cousin from Italy - she loved it - what better review can you get.
I had the best meal I have ever had at Trattoria Il Mulino yesterday.
It has the fish special of the day!
This restaurant id fantastic!
El ambiente muy agradable, la persona que me atendió excelente, muy amable. El menu de postres tiene un error qué hay que corregir ya que es un restaurante bueno y todo debe estar perfecto.
Magnificent! We loved everything about this restaurant and highly recommend it.
Great restaurant. Everything was 5 star. Best meal we had in Nashville.
A very pretty restaurant for a hotel restaurant, but at the end of the day, it's just a hotel restaurant.
The food was wonderful. The service was unbelievable. I had the best rigatoni ive ever eaten in my life. Would definitely go back!
We were really disappointed in this restaurant. The service was slow at 9 pm.
The pizza crust was undercooked and had no flavor(sopressata with mozzarella), the Brussels sprouts were undercooked(think hard) and not seasoned enough. The bruschetta was 3 very small pieces for $15.00.
Maybe Nashville is not known for Italian food, but we definitely felt like this was a very wrong choice of restaurants.
Great meal and service!
Always enjoy dining here. Great service, food is good and have never had a bad experience. Will be back!
Very good food and good value. I recommend the two course lunch special.
Fantastic meal. I highly recommend it
Ambiance was great and so was the service! Food was Great! I had the Primavera pasta and my husband had the lasagna. Everything was delicious!
Great everything. Tori waited on us and did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to go back.
Good food and excellent service! Will definitely recommend.
Service friendly and accommodating. Food very good. It is in the Hilton Hotel
Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Wine rather expensive.
