Trattoria Divina is one of our favorite island restaurants. We try to eat there on at least one of our visits each year. The food is very good and little touches like the complementary “treats” before ordering are a great idea.
Awesome! Chose two dishes from the early dining menu. Both were delicious..shrimp linguini and lobster ravioli. The soup and the salad starter were equally tasty. The homemade bread was so good we asked for an extra basket. The house wine , both the Chardonnay and the Cabernet, were quite enjoyable and a real bargain at the early dining price. Our server, Dominic, was very pleasant and attentive. We both enjoyed our meal and experience very much. Can’t wait to go back.
Our group of four were on a three day golf outing, and decided to try Trattoria Divina. All four of us felt like we nailed the decision. The atmosphere, bar, service and food were all excellent. We would consider going back for dinner again if we are at Hilton Head !
Since the closing of 843 Divina has moved into the #1 spot for island dining
Tonight’s experience was fantastic as usual
Instead of amuse bouche we received a glass of champagne
Classy as usual
Veal Osso Bucco superb
Arribetta pasta fresh and delicious
My only negative comment is the decor
Getting a bit long in tooth
For this level of gourmet dining the ambiance needs an upgrade
Everything was great from ambience, service, food and the excellent mixed cocktails. It is a little pricey but excellent. Good for all special occasions.
This was our second visit to Trattoria Divina. The ambiance and the friendliness of the staff were just as good we remembered them. It was nice to receive a complimentary glass of prosecco and a delicious little bite of an appetizer. All the appetizers we shared were very good as well. Unfortunately, the main courses were disappointing. Agnolotti Tartufo Nero i Porcini was probably the best dish of the ones we tried. It was good, but not exciting. Linguine Arrabbiata felt uninspired, and we were surprised that the color of the dish did not have any red in it (we are used to some red in the sauce from tomato and red pepper flakes). Linguini a Mare was quite disappointing, with too much tomato sauce and not enough seafood broth, and with shrimp overcooked to the consistency of rubber (was it frozen?). Looking back, I probably should have heeded the waiter's recommendations, which did not include seafood dishes. On the strength (or weakness) of the main courses, we did not order dessert.
Neighborhood gem, close to shops and movies. Very friendly.
Good food, excellent service, and overpriced. Will not rush back.
Trattoria Divina is our favorite restaurant on Hilton Head Island. We love the delicious salads, entrees, and delicious work of art desserts. My wife and I love the food as do our children and grandchildren.
Another great dining experience! Page was a great server, and the food was super. Had the Shrimp/Scallops special with a special pink sauce. Yum. My wife had Orecchietti pasta dish. It was yummy too! The owner helped us select a Italian wine; was much appreciated. We'll be back!
We love this place. First and frequent dinners while on HHI. Sat in the wine room, had terrific food and service was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of attention and suggestion.
We look forward every year in Hilton Head to dining here- excellent service and ambiance!
Awful from start to finish
Won’t go back
Trattoria Divina is our "go to" place for special occasions, to take guests, and to just go out for a truly great meal. The food, the service, and the ambiance are consistently excellent, and we are always made to feel welcome upon arrival and throughout our time there.
Just a charming, relaxing place to have dinner.
An exceptional eatery that has outstanding dishes and great service. One of the best places to dine on HHI.
We had a Valentine's Day dinner here. The food was pretty good but we felt that the waiter was always a little behind. Perhaps they were overwhelmed. Might be a little overpriced.
We went there for Valentine's Day. We had an excellent dinner and excellent service. The wine list was good as well. The homemade pasta was excellent.
Very good food however overpriced compared to other fine dinin g venues in the area.
Dominique Was an excellent waiter. The food was fabulous the service was extremely welcoming and friendly
Outstanding service and great food. We went on restaurant week on the island and the selections and the prices were very good. Would highly recommend.
Excellent pasta, friendly, efficient service. We will definitely be back!
Great service and lovely food. Really nice perk...they serve a prosecco and "small bite" before dinner.
Service was outstanding . Food was excellent . Would absolutely go back.
Lena is the best!
While I enjoyed my entree (a pasta and sausage) during restaurant week, my friend did not seem enthusiastic with her salmon. My first course of Brussels sprouts was great as was the Creme Brule dessert but again my friend was underwhelmed. My husband and I sing your praises constantly so I was a tad disappointed she was not happy with her meal. I took her there for a leaving work dinner.
Under the radar good. Meal quality high. Main dishes served piping hot. Service quality attentive but not intrusive. Good energy. We'll go back.
Nice Italian restaurant but nothing I would rush back to. Service was great,Dominick was attentive but didn't rush us at all.
There are better Italian places on hilton head.
Outstanding dining experience. Unique dishes with homemade pasta and in-house desserts that were equally outstanding.
A great find on HHI- delicious food, wonderful server and cozy environment!
We went for their fixed menu night. We were welcomed by a short glass of persecco and an amuse bouche. I ordered the mussels, the pasta with artichokes and veal and my dessert was the profiteroles. The mussels and profiteroles stole the show. The pasta was made in house and good but the veal was clunky. Overall we all loved our experience. The decor was pleasant and dimly lit. The service was terrific. I would definitely go back next time I’m in town
Delicious offering on the Prix Fixe menu...which was offered past the advertised window, a very unexpected surprise! The service was top notch!
This was a birthday celebration for 2 people in our family. The food was amazing, the service was top notch and the right level of attentiveness. Would definitely visit again. Prices are on the higher end so it is more appropriate for a celebration dinner than just a week night out. Portion sizes were perfect and the variety of pasta dishes is sure to please a wide audience.
We were at Tratorria Divina for dinner Saturday evening with friends and all of us were pleased with meals. Our waiter was exceptional, the ambiance, comfortable and the food, amazing . We have already told a number of our friends about it and will definitely go back in the near future.
Great as usual!
Dominic is a great waiter.the food was excellent, carpaccio,Brussel sprouts, bolanese, shrimp all very very good.we will be back looking forward to another great experience
First time there but will definitely go back. We did the prix fix 3 course go $29. Everything was great except the main course portion was extremely small- but delicious.
Another great meal. Page did a great job as our server. Lobster ravioli and the seafood special of the night were outstanding.
My husband and I dined at Trattoria Divina, for the first time, on New Years Day and were not disappointed.
We chose them because they were close to Sea Pines Plantation and the roads were covered in snow and ice due to the unusual winter storm that hit most of the East coast.
They treated us to a glass of Prosecco immediately upon being seated. Our waiter Eric was wonderful and explained the menu and the specials. We each started with a salad. I had a baby kale topped with fresh cheese, walnuts, and grilled eggplant and my husband had an arugula salad. Both were excellent. For my main course, I ordered the Linguine a mare which was a combination of shrimp, clams, calamari and mussels in a red sauce. The local seafood, which was served over a bed of homemade linguine and topped with a red sauce was sweet and tender and cooked to perfection. I would have loved a little more pasta and a little less calamari but I'm not complaining. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta special which was also excellent. We finished off our meal with vanilla gelato stuffed profiterole smothered in a chocolate sauce which was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal.
I will definitely eat here on my next trip to Hilton Head.
Food was very good. Our server was very sweet. Happy to have found this restaurant!
