About Trattoria Divina
Nestled in Park Plaza, Trattoria Divina offers fine dining Italian food like the island has never seen it. Chef Hugo Lee brings his culinary expertise from San Diego with over 15 years of experience creating Italian food that surprises and delights our patrons. From the Lobster Pot Pie to the Ice Sculpture Sorbet, everything presented is made in house. Chef Hugo prepares everything from sauces to soups from scratch daily.

Our Executive Chef, Hugo Lee was recently called a "Culinary Artist" by several clients. His ability to create, especially for special events is legendary.
From small dinner parties in your home, to 200+ person catered events, Chef Hugo is ready to WOW your guests with his culinary talents. We've been known to fly-in seafood from around the world and procure the most unique ingredients to insure your function is very special.
There is plenty of parking out front of the restaurant in a general parking lot for Park Plaza.

While I enjoyed my entree (a pasta and sausage) during restaurant week, my friend did not seem enthusiastic with her salmon. My first course of Brussels sprouts was great as was the Creme Brule dessert but again my friend was underwhelmed. My husband and I sing your praises constantly so I was a tad disappointed she was not happy with her meal. I took her there for a leaving work dinner.
We went for their fixed menu night. We were welcomed by a short glass of persecco and an amuse bouche. I ordered the mussels, the pasta with artichokes and veal and my dessert was the profiteroles. The mussels and profiteroles stole the show. The pasta was made in house and good but the veal was clunky. Overall we all loved our experience. The decor was pleasant and dimly lit. The service was terrific. I would definitely go back next time I’m in town
This was a birthday celebration for 2 people in our family. The food was amazing, the service was top notch and the right level of attentiveness. Would definitely visit again. Prices are on the higher end so it is more appropriate for a celebration dinner than just a week night out. Portion sizes were perfect and the variety of pasta dishes is sure to please a wide audience.
We were at Tratorria Divina for dinner Saturday evening with friends and all of us were pleased with meals. Our waiter was exceptional, the ambiance, comfortable and the food, amazing . We have already told a number of our friends about it and will definitely go back in the near future.
My husband and I dined at Trattoria Divina, for the first time, on New Years Day and were not disappointed.
We chose them because they were close to Sea Pines Plantation and the roads were covered in snow and ice due to the unusual winter storm that hit most of the East coast.
They treated us to a glass of Prosecco immediately upon being seated. Our waiter Eric was wonderful and explained the menu and the specials. We each started with a salad. I had a baby kale topped with fresh cheese, walnuts, and grilled eggplant and my husband had an arugula salad. Both were excellent. For my main course, I ordered the Linguine a mare which was a combination of shrimp, clams, calamari and mussels in a red sauce. The local seafood, which was served over a bed of homemade linguine and topped with a red sauce was sweet and tender and cooked to perfection. I would have loved a little more pasta and a little less calamari but I'm not complaining. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta special which was also excellent. We finished off our meal with vanilla gelato stuffed profiterole smothered in a chocolate sauce which was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal.
I will definitely eat here on my next trip to Hilton Head.
As residents of Sea Pines we love being able to enjoy Trattoria Divnia. Everything about the restaurant is top notch, from the immaculate preparation of the dishes to the attentive and friendly service. The restaurant uses the local ingredients in unique ways and add to that the fact that their pasta is made fresh and you get a wonderful dining experience. My dishes this time were Seared Diver Scallops off the specials menu and they were perfectly cooked and delicious, served over lentils. My main dish was Shrimp Scampi Oligo and it was maybe ones of the best dishes I have had. Four shrimp were butterflied and served with a Parmesan and scampi mixture baked into them, and another 4 were sauteed with the fresh fettuccine and served with an oil and garlic sauce. This was a dish that each bite yielded something exciting and delicious. I was sad as the dish came to an end, but the portion size was perfect. We always go back and have at least one meal here during our visits as we delight at the consistently spectacular meals!
My wife and I enjoyed New Year’s Eve dinner here. I had the lobster ravioli and my wife had the mushroom ravioli. Mine was better but not by much. Both dinners were excellent!! The best meal we had on the island!! Hats off to the Chef and Dominic our waiter who did a fabulous job! Thanks for a great meal!! Happy New year!!
Trattoria Divination exceeded our expectation on both ambiance and taste of food. We were at Hilton Head for vacation and chose this restaurant for local dining experience. Noise level is very low and it is easy to converse with friends. Servers were very attentive. I had lobster pie - lobster was cooked perfectly and puff pastry was crisp. This particular entry was too large for me to finish. Other people in my group ordered vegetarian options and they were happy with the pasta dishes. I had cheesecake for dessert - it was moist and delicious.
This was our second visit to Trattoria Divina. We ordered organic eggplant parmigiana and cappesante alla divine. They were both excellent dishes! Alex was our server and we were very pleased with his knowledge and service! It is a wonderful place to get authentic Italian food.
I was disappointed that my favorite dish (Osso Bucco) was no longer on the menu. They made up a chicken parm for me which was just average and the linguine was slightly burned. Two of our party have the halibut which they reported was delicious. Dominic, our server, was excellent and went out of his way to make up for the missing menu item.
This was our first time, but definitely not our last visit to Trattoria Davina. Our server, Dominic was attuned to our tastes and made excellent recommendations. We started with complimentary tastes of prosecco and while we had thought we’d go with red wine, ended up ordering more of the prosecco, it was really good. We split a Caesar salad and really liked the dressing. My husband ordered a seafood pasta dish which was excellent and I had a mushroom ravioli dish that was incredible. Dessert was exceptional, we had a bananas foster cheesecake that was amazing. Attentive staff, great service and wonderful food.
Consistently excellent food and amazing service. The chef makes incredible dishes and Page provides excellent service. They are very flexible in terms of dishes and will even make dinners for you that are not on the menu. They are great with kids and very accommodating. I recommend this Italian restaurant highly. It has been excellent for all the 6 years it has been open
