The staff was very knowledgeable about each item on the menu. Wonderful meal
We have dined here in the past and loved it. This recent experience was very disappointing. My dish was barely warm with extremely chewy shrimp and dry pasta. The atmosphere was depressing and basically empty.
Great place to eat. We enjoyed the Italian aspect of everything
Food was delicious. Service was wonderful. Such nice ambience sitting outside. Would definitely recommend.
Great service great mail great location no complaints
Great service, good breakfast, awesome atmosphere
I understand that with a resort environment comes higher prices but I did not feel the food was in line with the price. A dinner for 4 was well over 200.00 and I had spaghetti. Not likely to do it again. Universal used to be a better deal for families than Disney but I think your just taking advantage now due to COVID. Not cool. Now your just like Mickey. More profit less value.
Ambiance and server were excellent!
Server Andre was Great...friendly, personable and helpful!!
It's a gorgeous setting and hotel, but being an Italian restaurant with an Italian themed hotel we expected good Italian food! There was only one pasta on the menu and it was not very good.
When we got there on time there were no available tables, even though had a confirmed reservation, we were attended to once and never saw the waiter again the entire time, many other guests were being attended to and we were ignored. I had one glass of water all through dinner. Very very bad experience overall!!
The food is generally good but that coffee will kill anybody
Completely understaffed, horrible service, bad food, way over priced. Recommend just ordering the burger if your desperate.
Big Portions of great food
We sat outdoors and the setting was beautiful. The service was excellent! The fettuccini Alfredo was the best we’ve ever tasted. We would definitely eat here again. It was the perfect place to end our time in Orlando.
We ate here for breakfast before heading into the park. Great way to start the day. Food was delicious and service was fabulous!
Flatbread dish was great, alfredo dish was a tad iffy.
Juan our server was excellent, very attentive, kind and efficient.
Nice spot for casual dining at the Lowe’s Universal.
Breakfast family table Buffett was part of our package and was good food and fresh (pastries, fruit, choice of eggs/pancake or waffle/meat foe the table, coffee tea juice) for the table.
Server Driss was very nice!
Dinner was good too - beyond burger we tried with fries. Nice after a long day at the park.
Nice and quiet early in the morning when we ate. Rene took good care of us
We had a wonderful breakfast at Trattoria del Porto - it’s such a good deal to get the family style. Everyone was friendly and the food tasted great!
Waiter was outstanding as well as the food. Stark environment did not contribute to the fine dining feeling we were looking for.
Spent a nice quiet evening with my wife enjoying some delicious food. Food was cooked perfectly and presentation was perfect.
It was a lovely experience... Excellent food & Service. We really enjoyed it!
Lovely evening eating al fresco with attentive service and good food. Price was right for location and quality of food. Chef was accommodated our special requests.
Great on all levels!
Very friendly staff. Great service. No wait. Would go again.
Do not order the tiramisu! It was 1in tall flat, wet, and bland. We couldn't find 1 lady finger. They seemed short staffed as we were 5min early for reservations and weren't seated for another 15min there was only 5 or so other tables. Once seated it was another 10min before we were greeted with a basket of bread and ONE plate to share. The food was good, but the whole experience was not so good.
The food was great as usual. We did had reservations for breakfast that morning but we literally sat and waited for our over one hour.
Menu was limited due to COVID which is understandable, but only 1 pasta option for an Italian restaurant?! Our pasta dish was $38 and the portions were definitely smaller than most places. It only had 4 shrimp with it (fettuccine Alfredo) and they were rubbery. We had to pay to get salad, too. Very overpriced for quality of food. Drink was just so/so and at first came out tasting like pure vodka. I'm a travel agent and will not be recommending it to my clients after my experience.
Not a big menu. Otherwise, easy safe and good. We sat outside and enjoyed.
Our server Erik was excellent. The food, although not really authentic Italian, was delicious.
The family breakfast is a great deal! Fresh fruit, eggs, waffles or pancakes, meats, toast and more!
The service was terrific! Our waiter was cordial, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was wonderful, but expensive. However, we were at a theme park based establishment. Would absolutely recommend going back for second and thirds!
Very limited menu
They had 3 entrees. 3! One of them made our friend sick.
Food was terrible. Mac n cheese was gross. My Caesar salad was not eatable. My husband couldn’t find anything on the menu and got a soup, which was just fine.
Was our favorite restaurant. We were all looking forward to eat there. Now I am unsure we will on our next visit.
It was great and all the food tasted very good. Tables were not that close so you had breathing room.
I’ve dined multiple times for Breakfast & Dinner. The service was horrible! To give you an example - very slow, forgetting food, asked for hot milk for the coffee but didn’t bring the coffee. Watch out for the Family Style Breakfast $23 adults $14 kids 2-9. The have many restrictions to the menu which is not noted. If you all want to eat the same food then this may work for your family. However if everyone doesn’t want scramble eggs you will be told everyone will be eating scrambled eggs. The Family Style Breakfast is the replacement for the Buffet. Good Luck!
