Bright and mostly white, it is a sleek reinterpretation of Italian Art Deco along with the owner's collection vintage food and wine posters.
Bianca's menu ranges from a simple bowl of spaghetti carbonara to a Tuscan-style steak and a bottle of old Barolo. Featured dishes: shrimp scampi on soft polenta; frisee salad with fried oysters, poached egg, and pork belly; seafood fritto misto; salmon saltimbocca-style with sage and crispy pancetta; numerous pastas and superb pizzas; Chianti- braised short rib, and lamb shank in rich pan juices. For lunch there are heaping salads and inventive sandwiches using Italian ingredients

Food surprisingly good this location in the shadow of MSG. Not my favorite neighborhood, but if I have to be there a worthy stop.
Return visit for dinner. This place is near MSG and the food is pretty good. Service was a challenge as there was only 1 server for most of the restaurant (it was a Sunday) and I know they haven't brought back a full staff due to Covid. Food was excellent and the server did the best he could with handling the guests. We will definitely return again.
Food was very good, but service was incredibly slow. Cheesecake was also amazing!
Food was delicious and portions were more than expected
Great meal at Trattoria Bianca. The beet salad was fresh and delicious. The scallops with yukon mashed were amazing. And the chocolate cake was amazing. Excellent dining choice in an area with limited options.
Good place to eat before going to the Garden..... Food was good!! Just leave enough time to get to MSG!
Dined here pre-concert at MSG. Server was very nice, but delivery of drinks and food was ridiculously slow. Only two of us and it took 20 minutes to get our drinks delivered while others around us seemed to be seated after us and received drinks sooner. Took another half an hour to get our appetizer. Food was decent but not great. Ambiance felt more like a diner. Won't hurry back.
Disappointed in our recent visit- this has been our go-to restaurant when we come in to see a show at the Garden, but they were not up to the task this week. Clearly short-staffed - we barely saw our server. First round of drinks were great, but the martini glass for the second round was half the size - same price. Bread was cold and butter patties hard. On the plus side, calamari was light and perfectly seasoned, with the tentacles included, unlike some places that will just prepare the processed rings. My husband really enjoyed his cowboy steak, but I found my veal to be dry and had to ask for marinara sauce. We also overheard the couple seated next to us never received their dinners and left without being served. I don’t think we will be visiting again until their situation improves. Too many other establishments nearby to choose from.
Trattoria Bianca is a calm oasis from the craziness of eighth Avenue. Very nice ambience and food.
Did not use full open table reward value.
Bread was cold
Service understaffed and no masks
Food was good and our server was super nice. It was late in the evening but the restaurant was very accommodating.
Perfect meeting place for a nice meal Midtown. I’ll be back!
very chill ambiance :) if you want a quiet meal, this is it
Food outstanding. Merlot Chateau St Michelle went well with all the dishes. Lamb shank, salmon, Milanese and surf and turf were all top notch
If you’re looking for an Olive Garden type of experience in the lobby of a busy hotel… food was fine, service lacked, prices not congruent with value whatsoever. Find somewhere else is my recco!
Meh. Chose this place. Wanted Pizza and a cocktail. For an Italian place in NYC pizza and food was mediocre. Service was very slow and didn’t anticipate our needs as we had to ask for everything.
It was horrible: they were closed. It is outrageous that this reservation was accepted and I was not notified.
The service and food was OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you so much for your exemplary hospitality...
Food was surprisingly delicious. Was a little worried due to the location that it might be a touristy spot but we were very happy with all of our appetizers, main dishes and cocktails. My team will definitely be back here.
Super friendly staff, quick service and great food!
Dined with two friends and it was a wonderful experience. I had branzino served with peppers and capers and it was delicious. Friends enjoyed their meals as well. Desserts were huge and could have been shared but we each got our own. Drinks good as well. It was quiet and the place was clean. We sat for three hours and were not rushed at all.
I believe that only one other table was occupied in the entire restaurant during our dinner, and yet we felt virtually ignored. It took over 20 minutes at the table before someone came over to ask if we wanted drinks. This was at 6 PM on a Tuesday, early for us but we had someplace to get to after dinner. (We were a four-top).
Three of us fried calamari for an app and it was excellent.
Drinks and wine were fairly priced.
Upon arrival we were seated and presented with the food menu. We had to ask for the liquor menu to get a drink.
After ordering an appetizer, it took them 20 minutes to present it: three cheese slices and some prosciutto and salami. Very slow service.
Main course, again long wait, only one waiter working and smelling to tobacco when dishes were presented. Again had to wait when we asked for Parmesan cheese for a pasta dish; when a customer orders pasta in an “italian trattoria” you would expect the pasta to arrive with the cheese.
More waiting to get service for dessert and coffee.
Overall, not recommended due to the poor service.
A great place to say thank you to a colleague or plan for important next steps!
Our server If I remember correctly was Jose he was a one man show. He was the server,DJ ,bartender, host, and many other job titles. He was very quick and profesional. By the way he makes really good drinks. I shall be returning here for their yummy skyscraper burgers. Thank you Jose for giving us a great experience. We will be back soon!!!
Only 3 tables occupied when we arrived . We were by ourselves mostly and stayed for a long time. Large portion of appetizer calamari.
Trattoria Bianca is one of the best restaurants in the Penn Station/Madison Square Garden area. Food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. This is really a hidden gem in Midtown!
Classic cocktails with a twist and tasty food in a chic atmosphere. The veal was cooked perfectly and the scallops were imaginative. We appreciated the attentive service.
Centrally located, beautiful decor and friendly staff. Nice wine list with a robust selection to choose from. We started with the fresh beet salad that just just delicious and we both did pasta entrees which were excellent. We finished off with the tiramisu which was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a really nice dinner experience. A+
We had a lovely lunch. I had the broiled scallops, very nice. Covid-friendly.
I have been to Trattoria Bianca several times. Located right near Madison Square Garden it is a great Italian restaurant with great pricing! The Veal Milanese is fantastic.
Tucked in the corner of the hotel. Right in the middle of 34th street. It is a good place for the area if you want to take a break and take a bite. We love the green salad and fried calamari. The entrees are ok. Good beverage. Overall, it is a good choice if you are in the neighborhood.
Obviously this is review during the pandemic. Was looking for a last minute place to eat using up my Open Table rewards and this was the only place open that was walking distance to where I was. I was the only person in the place so the service was excellent and on point. My only complaint was that the pizza was pretty average. I had been enjoying pizzas with authentic Neopolitan-style crusts so I had high expectations. This pizza was more like a frozen pizza. My wife’s Bronzino was much better. I think it is hard to maintain high food quality with unpredictable reservations so I don’t want to be too harsh. Will give it another shot another day. At this point, I was glad to sit down and enjoy meal indoors on a cold night.
Food is of poor quality for the price pay. Reconsider visiting this place.
only 1 other customer in the restaurant, but the waiter was slow and rarely came around
looking for an open restaurant in the area. had been there in the past. the service was great and it was fairly empty, which during covid is a plus.
Prior to an event at MSG we frequented Cafe 31 which is now TRACKS. Looking for a new spot we hit on this great place and found Fausto, our favorite server from 31 working here. The food, service and room was wonderful. Thanks for a great evening.
Surprisingly good food, pleasant atmosphere, great service and fantastic location if you are headed to MSG . Highly recommended.
Convenient. Fantastic food.Great value. Nice folks.
Very nice place, good service! Prices were reasonable
