Food and service were GREAT!
Different restaurant every night during honeymoon
Always an excellent choice for authentic Italian cuisine and the personalized attention to details the wait staff provide adds up to a most excellent experience .
It was so noisy outside that we couldn’t hear each other talk. My poor husband with hearing aids was forced to take them out so he wouldn’t suffer the exaggerated noises.
The band was very talented but much too loud on the terrace which echoes and magnifies.
We won’t be back.
Good food but pricey! Add $8-9 for a salad with your $24-30 entree. Dessert $9 and an app -$14. Wine $9-15 a glass. But good pasta!! Great service! Below average ambience.
Although there really is no view when eating outdoors, it was a beautiful night and we enjoyed it immensely. The food here is delicious, especially all their pastas, which are all homemade. I especially love the papardelle. Usually, I have the papardelle with the mushroom and bolonaise sauce, but, this time, with the waiter’s suggestion, I had it with a chicken dish. Absolutely yummy.
Second time there in four nights. The food is great. Hand made pasta. Great service
The food was outstanding! The best eggplant Parmesan in Naples, Florida. All of us loved our entrees. The service, Alberto was our waiter, was excellent. We will return!!
My favorite Italian restaurant in all of SW Florida.
My Italian wife is an excellent cook so most restaurants pale in comparison. Not true here.
The very best. Better food than all my visits to Italy.
First time diner at this restaurant. Small inside dining room with outside seating on covered patio facing parking lot. Our waitress took about 10 minutes to even acknowledge us, which would seem hard to do since there are only about 8 tables split between one aisle indoors. Finally she came by and said "I'll be right with you" and then took another 10 minutes before she re-greeted us.
Food was above average, we both had pasta dishes, which we're generous in size. Prices of food and wine were fair for quality and quantity.
Our night out with dear friends could not have been any better. The food is fantastic, but second only to the service that we got from our Italian waiter, Carlo. He was enaging, inviting, and there for all our needs. We did not feel rushed, and our food was hot and timely. Soooooo kind and a sure reason to return. Great food, better service! A must do!
Consistently great FRESH pasta and prepared dishes.A great value and even better experience.Caring wait staff. Most underrated restaurant in Naples.
Had wonderful meal. Service was exceptional. 'Nough said.
Highly recommended! Great authentic Italian food. Great service.
Cavatelli pasta was amazing! Great service!
I cannot say enough good things about our experience thjs evening. They accommodated our party of 10 with no problems. The server was personable and did such a wonderful job. And the food was outstanding! We will be back.
Excellent home cooking... Italian style
First the good:
Service was awesome! Our server was friendly, prompt, welcoming, and funny.
The bread was warm and crusty, very good.
My husband and I both got the lamb skewer special. Two skewers with lamb, onions, and peppers, came with potatoes. Sounds good right? However, it was completely unseasoned. We had to douse it with salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese to make it have any flavor. I also got chunks of fat instead of meat. And the potatoes tasted old. Plus everything was swimming in oil. Bill came out to $90 after tip, we didn't even order alcohol, two sodas, two entrees... that's it. Biggest pet peeve is paying a lot of money for crap food.
I had hopes for this place after reading the good reviews, but was sorely disappointed.
We went for Easter Dinner, and the food was very authentic. The shrimp was delicious and the homemade pasta was really special-all kinds! The salt Delitzia was also fantastic, as well as the homemade cannoli's we had for dessert. I love the outdoor seating area. The only area for improvement would be to have a few light choices on the menu, like steamed spinach instead of sautéed in oil, or some fish dishes that are simply grilled instead of with sauces. I will definitely go back.
Excellent Italian food all fresh and home made. Service is attentive.
An interesting place and always busy which is the sign of a good restaurant.
We sat outside and to be honest there is not a lot of ambiance as you are sitting on the strip malls sidewalk looking out on the parking lot. Inside was an option but being from the north we like outside when it is available.
The service was friendly and efficient. I had the Veal Toscana which was recommended and it was very good. My wife had mamma’s tortellini? which was just OK in her opinion. The house red Abruzzo was nice.
In my opinion our meals were on the expensive side so low marks for value. So overall good not great.
This cozy Italian spot has lots of variety on the menu but go for the pasta dishes!! All of the pasta is made on the premises and the taste is incredible.
We went to Trattoria Abruzzo for the second time in a week because we loved the food the first time we went. I am commenting on our two visits as I didn’t make the reservation the first time so I could not write a review .
The food is outstanding! The starters are great and the pasta is superb. However the service is not great. The first time our server Greg told us to hurry up and order or we’d have to wait 45 minutes. Our server tonight Victor was OK but when we were seated there was one menu on the table, one side plate and one set of cutlery wrapped in a napkin. We had to ask twice for these items.
We’ll go back because the food is fabulous.
The food and service was perfect!!we were able to dine outside on a beautiful evening. The pasta is made daily at the restaurant and I highly recommend the parpadelle.we will definitely be returning!!
Great food always
Very pleasurable dinning!!! I would definitely go again
This used to be one of our favorite casual dining places. We’ve now had 3 very average dinners in a row.
My husband had the braciole and he said it was the best he ever had. Loved my homemade fettuccine with shrimp. Service was excellent will be back on our next trip
Dinner with our good friends from out of town. Had to let them experience the best authentic Italian restaurant in town.
More tables out on the sidewalk than indoors at this tiny place. The fantastic food keeps bringing folks back. Pasta dishes are amazing.
Noise level is extremely high — we had to shout at each other and normal conversation was nearly impossible indoors. Part of the problem was that indoor Muzak was cranked up, maybe to compete with the excellent tenor and keyboarder entertaining the crowd just beyond the always open door to the sidewalk. Both musics going on at the same time — too much!!
Always our favorite Italian restaurant. Feels like we are in Italy!
Tiny gem. All housemade pasta and sauces!
the food was fabulous..we sat outside and it was very comfortable...very lively especially with an ice cream store next to the restaurant...our server was terrific..would highly recommend reservations..
Great food, great service and great people. Love the changes and still wonderful people.
We love Trattoria Abruzzio! E verything was wonderful once again! It is a small intimate setting and the homemade food will not disappoint!
The food is one of the best Italian in Naples. Portions are large and everything is home made. We love the veal dishes and the servers are attentive. Consistently good.
Sat outside under covered walkway. Saw rain threatening and asked to be moved closer to building. Staff accommodated us cheerfully. At 7pm overhead lights come on very harsh and bright (controlled by shopping center not restaurant).
We celebrated my sister's birthday at Trattoria Abruzzo and it was outstanding. The homemade pasta is excellent and the service (Shane) was wonderful.....in my opinion, this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Naples.
Stopped in for an early dinner. Outside dining was not available so I was placed inside. Arriving solo, thought i would be placed in an not so preferred table but hostess pleasantly seated me near a window and wall which was the perfect setting to people watch and entertain myself while awaiting my food. The windows could stand a little cleaning but otherwise the restaurant appeared clean. Comfortable, cozy dining room. Noise level appropriate. Not really suitable for kids. Nice variety of wines and the menu was varied with large quantities of food. I had the branzino special of the evening, capers, butter sauce served on a bed of spinach. Very good. Nice glass of sangiovese. I will go back, especially if I plan to go to the movies right next door.
We ate outside with friends. The food, ambiance, and service were wonderful. We will go
back many times.
