We had dinner on Valentines Day here, and the restaurant did the really annoying trick of serving a “special” (I.e. severely limited) menu that was fixed price and much more expensive than the usual menu. Would have liked to have ordered off the regular menu.

Server was very friendly and polite, but at times we felt rushed, at other times ignored. Also had the strange experience that the server seemed personally insulted if we didn’t completely finish every morsel of food (“you didn’t like it” said in a hurt tone).

Maybe we would have enjoyed this restaurant more on a regular night?

Food was tasty though.

Valentines Day event
They had a Valentine's Day menu but that's the only Valentine's Day difference. No ambience . No roses on table . No flowers on table. No hearts. Just tables on top of one another. Next year no Valentine's Day dinner for me

First time for all of us, but not our last. Looking forward to going back. Everything was delicious from our eggplant appetizer to my lamp chops and my husbands grilled octopus. Our friends enjoyed their Salmon and kabobs too!

Very good service, however food was average (appetizers above average) and entrees very pricey for level of food. Interior is dated and layout needs refresh. There are other better Mediterranean restaurants in the area. It has potential, but it falls short. Was half empty on a weekend night.

Terrific food. Nice service. Good value. I highly recommend this place. Also, easy to get to, just off I-270 and Rockville Pike. We went there to celebrate an anniversary and had a superb meal.

Trapezaria is a great local restaurant. I have had several business meals there as well as some special occasion meals. It is authentic Greek food and the portions are large. Good value and delicious!

The food was excellent but we waited an inordinate amount of time for our entrees. The waiter didn't keep us apprised of the status of our meals until shortly before they arrived.

It started poorly and went downhill from there. We had been before and really liked it - authentic Greek cuisine and well prepared. This visit however, despite a reservation made well in advance, we waited an unusual time for a table and were first shown to a very cramped 4 top right next to the door. Asking kindly to move we were then seated by the windows - lovely spot - and the waiter appeared quickly, took drink orders and promptly disappeared for a prolonged time. A starter was ordered and came in a reasonable time, then another waiter disappearance. when finally we ordered entrees, we waited. And waited. Despite asking repeatedly about the status of our food we finally had to leave to make a 9:15 movie. Not an early show. Whereupon a hurried boxing of meals occurred and we left with our food to, comped, but to do what...eat it in the movie theater? Sorry folks, we won't be back.

First trip to Trapezaria was a good one. The ambiance is relaxed, service good and noise levels were low enough to enjoy conversation without raised voices. The Greek cuisine varied between fair and excellent. Try the trio of dips - they are outstanding, as are the stuffed grape leaves. Pasticho and Moussaka were ok, the lamb much better.

We go to Trapezaria quite often and have gotten to know the owners and wait staff. They always treat us with great care. I have a table I really like and always ask for it when I make my Open Table reservation. Last weekend they mistakenly set it for a different party, but when we showed up they reset the table to we could have it. The food is good Greek food, with some excellent specials. The lamb last weekend was fantastic. They will also make changes to how food is prepared if you have special dietary needs. They are so accommodating! This is one of our "go to" restaurants in Rockville when we want to grab a good and fun bite with friends.

They have a very creative menu and I had an excellent lamb dinner. The restaurant has very nice daily specials. I really enjoyed their walnut cake with whipped cream! The waiter and owner/manager were very nice and gave us good service! The friends we came with really enjoyed themselves and will definitely return with us at a later date!!!
