Great Staff, excellent cuisine and extensive wine list. Lobster Bisque is exceptional.
Our meal was delicious and the service was very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner which should be a romantic and special evening. Sadly the food was not good and the amount of time we waited in between the starter and the mean was outrageous. Arrived at 830 and did not leave until 1030. The main arrived only 15 min before we left. Oh and as part of a set menu... prawns and scallops came... cold! Very disappointing.
A great place to celebrate a special occasion. Service was excellent throughout the evening. The meals are not inexpensive, but the portion size for the meat dishes was larger than many comparable restaurants. One of the dishes we ordered had clearly been modified from the menu description (and I suspect the servers were not notified), but otherwise all of our meals were cooked perfectly. The lamb was fabulous. Was very pleased to discover that the corkage fee is only $25 - a definite plus when you want to bring a special bottle of wine.
Nice ambiance, staff friendly and provides great service and good food and presentation.
Our expectations were set very high for Tramonto. Sadly, we were very disappointed.
Tramonto bills themselves as a 'Fine Dining' restaurant but I'd rate them a few step down to something like Earls. Casual dining at best.
We will not be returning.
The food, service and ambience are all very good. Only complaint is the very high price of booze. Almost a rip when wine is at least 3 times liquor store price.
Service was good, staffs were very friendly, food was delicious. Will recommend to family and friends.
The service was the best I have ever had. Definitely gonna recommend this restaurant to my friends
I had been to Tramonto last year for dine out with friends and really enjoyed the food, however this year I was disappointed with the main course and dessert the soup was very tasty. My choice of cod I found it to small pieces of over fried cod, as for the dessert I thought there was very little toffee and dry pudding with a very small dab of ice cream. When I asked my co workers they felt they said the same thing about the cod, the chocolate dessert had very little chocolate.
I found the wine to be very expensive and was disappointed the the gratuity was included without any notice prior to booking as I spoke with Mckenzie several times who was very pleasant I was disappointed with our waiter his service was okay but not a warm or friendly person
The overall experience at Tramonto was okay. The only let down was the quality of food. My friend and I chose this restaurant to try the dine out menu because of the good ratings on Yelp. Great customer service and love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Scallops were a bit small and has a “ocean-y” taste and the fried cod was a bit dry.
The food choice is not good at all.
Very good service on a busy Dine Out Vancouver evening. The food needs a little bit of refining but the quality was very good.
It was a perfect way to end the year! We had a tremendous time from the beginning to end. We definitely recommend the Tramonte where the waiters know their business and the ambience is a welcoming and warm. The food was perfectly cooked and we had a good choice of different types of meals. Overall a wonderful place to go. Thanks for making the evening so special!
Our party of 4 had one vegan. It was a major production. The chef was not very accommodating. One person had the scallop appetizer which was not what he expected. The scallops came in the shell with the orange skin part still there. The salads were okay. One person ordered the cornish game hen and was not impressed. One person had the rack of lamb and said that was excellent. Another ordered the spaghetti and said that was good. The vegan had a small plate of quinoa and vegetables which was okay. For the price we would not go back. Too bad because the view is excellent.
