First time dining here after being in Long Branch for 5 years. The noise level was high for a Sunday evening and made it difficult to have a conversation. The best part of the evening was the food...baby artichoke salad for appy was delicious. Main courses of Halibut special and Blackened Grouper were both cooked perfectly and top notch. The one large negative was the service. The waiter wasn't personable or friendly and disappeared once he had our order. After the appetizer, dinners came out quickly, but we had no silverware to eat with, as it wasn't replaced after the 1st course. We flagged down a busboy to get some and ordered more wine to enjoy with dinner. The wine arrived just as we were finishing up dinner. Again, the waiter was busy elsewhere and didn't pay any attention to our table. Water refills were few and far between. We passed on dessert/coffee which didn't seem to please our waiter, but by that time we has had enough of the poor level of service. Go here for the food, but be aware of the lacking service before you go.

We had to wait almost about 20 minutes for our table but the food was really delicious. The fried calamari was a little tough but other than that all the food was exceptional. The clams in red sauce was mouthwatering as was the branzino. We shared a whole bunch of appetizers and all good. And the bartender who made our cosmos (the way we like them) was awesome.

The flavor of the calamari was great, although the texture wasn’t to my husband’s liking. There was also only half a plate worth of calamari since they fill up the other half with an arugula tomato salad. The mussels were amazing. The entrees were great. Panna Cotta was pleasant but was very mild in flavor. Best Pistachio gelato I’ve ever had. Overall, the food here is delicious, and it did not disappoint! This was our 1st time coming here and definitely wont be our last!

It does NOT get better. From the moment you walk in the door, every person is friendlier than the next. The food is spectacular. I’d come here every single night if I could.

We enjoyed our meal at Trama’s Trattoria. The food was excellent, our server, Robert was great. The staff did amazing work to accommodate a sudden storm that brought patrons who were outside on the patio inside. Very good meal, we will be back
