Food was fantastic!! Love coming!
Lemon fettuccine was outstanding
Trama’s is so incredible and so delicious. The service was fantastic and the ambiance perfect.
Hands down one of my favorite places in Jersey. The food and service are always fantastic and the specials are equally exciting. Small, intimate place to dine that's contemporary but cozy at the same time.
Each time we visit, we are never disappointed. We started our meal with the mussels appetizer. The tomato gravey the muscles are cooked with is the best I have had. Our dinners consisted of sea scallops scampi with pancetta and potato croquettes, and saffron risotto with sea food medely. All the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. This is definitely a restaurant you want to dine at, you will not regret it.
Baby artichoke salad over arugula with a thick slice of Parmesan ? Um, yes please!
Giant meatball over polenta? Yes !
Pork chop over farrow? My daughter loved it!!
Special of shrimp and scallops over saffron lemon pea risotto ? So delicious I ordered it Saturday night then AGAIN Sunday night.
Chocolate cake with vanilla gelato ? Ok, now my head may explode!! So good!!
Chicken parmigiana? Yes yes yes!!
Service? Everyone was super nice. Although the front end girls are nice too, they lack experience. They’re the face of the restaurant!! Train these girls to make eye contact and speak up!
One other negative was the Pandora station choice. I was there early on a Sunday night for dinner with my 80 year old parents and my 23 year daughter. The music of choice consisted of hard alternative rock with a ton of f bombs dropped and not the filtered cursing. The REAL ones. Please pay attention to the stations you’re choosing! The music was cringeworthy even for my 23 year old .Frank Sinatra station? YES please!
Love this place !
Always A GoTo pLACE ❤️...
Another amazing meal at Trama’s! Chef Pats artichoke salad is one of my all time favorites. Pasta was cooked perfectly, tossed with the most amazing bolognese sauce. From the martinis, down to the the dessert, everything was delicious! Travis, our server was funny, polite and extremely attentive. Highly recommend.
Only drawback is noise level. Needs carpeting or fabric to absorb noise or.
Service was top notch from the get go... from the hostess seating us to the bartender( we arrived early), to our waiter.
Food presentation was spot on and delicious!! Will definitely be back!
Chef Trama delivers the best dining experience in Monmouth County.
Another fabulous meal at Trama! The mussels are a definite must and we tried a few specials tonight- peach upside down cake, fig and prosciutto, and the new lemon fettuccine which were all amazing. The tricolore salad was as beautiful as it was fresh and delicious. Don’t miss this restaurant if you are in Long Branch.
Always outstanding in quality of food, service. The Best in New Jersey!
Wow! Uve been here twice so far and already looking forward to my next visit. Spin leaving I booked my 3rd visit
Mr Trama is a wonderful chef. I've followed him from AMA in Atlantic Highlands to Sea Brught now here in Long Branch but I must say this menu is by far my favorite
Kudos to the wait staff and the bartender for an amazing job
Never, ever dissipoints. Love the atmosphere, servers, bar scene and foremost the dishes prepared by owner and chef Pat. The finest restaurant in long branch NJ. And it is a favorite of all our family and friends who have dined with my wife and I. Even those from other parts of the state rate Trama the tops.
Must try Chef Pat's Rigitoni dish and the muscles are to die for.......Vincent Costa. A 5 star gem !
Everything at Trama’s is delicious but I have a few favorites. First, let’s talk appetizers. I highly recommend the meatball. It is served over house made polenta and their signature sauce (a thick, perfectly seasoned marinara). Definitely ask for an extra order of bread because you will finish the basket before any food actually arrives (It is THAT good. Brooklyn bread served warm which accompanies perfectly with the high-quality olive oil they use). You need the extra bread to dip into the polenta and sauce that is in the dish w/ the meatball. The other appetizer that I regularly order is his calamari. They are big, which usually means they are chewy, but they literally melt in your mouth. The first time I went there and ordered them I was disappointed to see their size, but they were just so tender and I can’t ever go there and not order them. They are served with delicious heirloom tomatoes and his yummy marinara sauce. Hint to a first timer: ask them to make the sauce fra diavolo. It is so good!! Now onto the entrees. I have a few that I like to rotate between. The first, is their chicken parmigiana which is served with spaghetti. They use a buffalo mozzarella which is thinner than a traditional Parm and melts in the way that ricotta spreads (which, by the way, you may want to ask for a side of their homemade ricotta to have once you get to the spaghetti portion of your meal). Speaking of spaghetti, that is served in a classic marinara sauce and is everything you would expect and hope for from such a classic dish. My other entree of choice is the penne bolognese which is served with whipped house made super creamy amazing ricotta and topped with summer black truffles which add just a touch of saltiness (they’re amazing!). I’m not really a dessert person and by this point you can probably figure that I’m full before the dessert menu arrives so I can’t make any recommendations on the final course except to get a cappuccino. It is nice and strong and satisfying.
Amazing experience! Made a reservation for 4 people but left a message that we may show up with 6. We actually showed up with 7 and they converted the table in two seconds for seven people! Talk about accommodating!! One of the gentleman that I went with is from Italy in town just for a couple weeks. He said it was the best food that he’s had since he’s been in the country! Nothing else left say!
The food was wonderfully prepared and the service impeccable. The restaurant is on the noisy side but not enough to stop conversations.
Always a great experience. Very lively crowd. Four of us shared a number of things. Had the burrata special, their signature shaved baby artichoke salad (two of them, it's so good) fettuccine with lemon, cavatelli with fava beans, and a special whole pampano. All terrific. Ended the meal with a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. Service was a bit rushed but otherwise excellent. Thanks for a special evening.
Awesome as always!
This was our second visit to Trama’s, our first in the summer, and the difference was marked. It was very crowded and it seems they have added (squeezed) even more tables into an already small space. Unfortunately, we were seated at one of those uncomfortably wedged in tables without a chance of moving. That being said, it was our only complaint in an otherwise great experience. Cocktails were the bomb. The food was outstanding, which is why we returned, and the service was very good. Our waiter was excellent while the young helpers need a bit more training to get there. I loved (for the second time) the shaved artichoke salad and the Lemon Fettucine with Bottarga was a great new addition to the menu. Our table also sampled the Caprese salad, Mussels and the Meatball appetizers-all excellent. Everyone loved their entrees, but we all agreed the dessert menu was extremely weak and we went elsewhere for that course. We will return and request a better table in advance. Thanks Chef Trama for a great meal!
Trama is absolutely delicious! Some of the best food on the shore. The garlic bread, fresh ricotta, rigatoni and fluke francaise are all fantastic.
Amazing experience every time we eat here, foods the best, service is outstanding and it’s just worth every dollar!
Best restaurant in long branch by far. Definitely fit for foodies. Food was amazing, wine recommendation was terrific and service was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back every time we visit Long Branch.
This was an amazing find. Our financial advisor suggested it. The food was Ana I got creative with excellent presentation. I had the shaved artichoke salad to die for. The lemon fettuccini with Zucchini flowers beyond words. All four of us had something different and all four raved. AMA I gotta wine list service impeccable. I can not rave enough
Delicious! Great service! Tricolore salad is awesome, garlic bread is amazing, the ricotta toast was yummy and the artichoke salad was great too. Ordered every dessert and all were excellent! Gelato was amazing- rich and creamy with great flavor. Cheesecake with the balsamic drizzle was just the right balance of sweet and tart. Will go back again and again!
Another great meal for our wine guys-chef Pat dos it again-from his pastas to his Florentine ribeyes-sweet!
Great service and a wonderful vibe-not to be missed!
Very nice place however tables for 2 are not placed in very good areas and often are very close to larger groups which takes away from the privacy for everyone We were placed between a table for 6 and a table for 4 Heard every word of our "neighbors" Very disconcerting Had to leave sooner than we wished to however couldn't enjoy the surroundings
Another great meal at Trama’s! Consistently one of the the best restaurants in NJ. Tonight’s highlights were the Burrata salad and the swordfish...and the lemon pasta...
And that meatball. All amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
A go to restaurant for excellent Italian cuisine when we visit New Jersey. The BEST mussels and ciabatta bread appetizer on the East Coast. Always a pleasure to be greeted by Laura!!
My fav spot in long branch.
Excellent pasta dishes and fine wine list. Will definitely recommend to a friend and will make a return visit as well.
Trama was great! The specials were unique and delicious. The appetizers were delicious too! Very creative menu. The wine list was extensive and the waiter helped us pick a great wine. Great for dates and birthdays. We will be back to Trama.
Overall, it was a pretty good place; if we're back in the area, we'd certainly try them again. The mussels weren't to my taste, but my wife really liked them; same for the scallops. I liked the fish I ordered, and the calamari was top notch. The drinks were excellent, and the service was friendly and prompt.
Absolutely delicious! The scallops were the best!
Always great food and professional wait staff always a pleasure to eat at Pats place
Every dish was delicious. No doggie bags this time. Ate every morsel. Yum.
Excellent Italian food. Amazing garlic bread and great fluke entree- definitely will go back!
Food was adequate, but I did have higher expectations given the high price. Pasta was supposedly home made, but there was so little sauce / broth in the white clam dish that it was unacceptably dry and had almost no flavor. On the other hand scallops were cooked perfectly. Was just hoping that at this level of restaurant the pasta dishes would be a little more perfect.
