It is more of a bar than a restaurant..but clean.
I made a reservation for 2, but then it was only me. The hostess would not give me the high top table I reserved and told me to sit at the bar. Very disturbing.
I sat at the bar and the food was good. If you want anything with tonic, please pass. The tonic comes out of the gun and it like water.
The best thing about this restaurant is the manager Ryan...who is professional, personable and insures that every guest is taken care of.
I was envisioning a romantic date night spot based on the reviews I read, but Trademark was not that at all. First off, our waitress was extremely rude, and clearly hated me for not ordering a glass of wine. She said nothing back when I told her that water was fine for me, ROLLED HER EYES, and walked away. The setting and restaurant decor is great, but they were playing overplayed hits from the 90s quietly in the background like a cheap hotel lobby or a midwestern sports bar. The vibe was just off, you know?
We were celebrating my friend’s birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make the meal special. They were so nice, wished her a happy birthday multiple times, had a hand written card, and brought her a birthday treat. I would definitely return for another special occasion, and would also return on a regular the night. The food and the service were great.
Overall the experience was great.
Cocktails were very nice and the portions and taste of food was good
Everything was very good, our only complaint was that the two steak dishes came out a little cool but were very flavorful.
Went on a Sunday night. Did not enjoy my experience here. Food was salty and not pictured as described by the waiter. The cocktail was average. The manager was nice enough to take an item off the bill but overall food was not up to par. Will not return
Service was very slow. We waited a while for our server to come to the table and then a long time to get the check. There was shift change so that might be why. Just unimpressed with service overall. Had a better experience the first time we were there about a year ago.
Good cheap food and great service
Yummy breakfast sandwich but so
Ethics g with service was off. Our server didn’t seem to normally work that shift and once he took our food order we literally never saw him again. His coworkers were very helpful when we could flag them down to get something. But the service and experience was really not enjoyable.
This place is nice and the food is good. However it is very loud and I had to shout at my friends sitting next to me to hear what was being said.
Great time! Was planning to go to Parker & Quinn, but they were booked. We saw this was their sister restaurant, and they had avails. The only issue was that we made a reservation for 6:45pm and were not seated until 7:15pm. They gave us a round of drinks and an appetizer on the house. The manager came over and apologized twice. I appreciated the customer service. Food was excellent, and the place was beautiful. Will certainly go again.
Not impressed. Made a reservation for 4:30 on for a special get together with the expectation of staying for a while with my friends. Greeted at the desk with a “we’re busy tonight so your reservation is thru 6pm’. The attitude right off was one of disregard and indifference. The service was fine. The food was fine. We were not asked to leave as we made it clear we were not going anywhere. But once our bottle of wine was done they were circling. I was told to find a different place but didn’t so this was on me. Went there for their allergy menu - which was crap. Lesson learned.
Nothing negative or positive can be said about the main course, as we did not get to eat them. We ended up having appetizers as when we got there for our 5pm reservation, we were immediately informed that they needed the table at 6:30. This was a table for two. The waiter was a little miffed that we didn’t order dinner, but we didn’t screw him out of the 18% tip
We could not get reservations so quickly for an alternate place. In essence we paid to sit at a table.
Shame on Trademark for not properly scheduling reservation time. My guest and I arrived within 5 minutes of our reservation time and left within 5 minutes of the requested release time
Would I go back No. “Been there Done That”. This does not seem to be a place for locals
Nice. Lots of employee turnover it would seem. Some really nice. Some super snarky. A bit loud for my tastes. Good food! Great martini.
Slow service could not overcome ok food and drink. Took 30 minutes to bring out the appetizer and another 30 minutes for the entrees. Food temperature was lukewarm at best. Atmosphere is good for a quiet conversation. Bathrooms are in the basement of the hotel adjacent and cleanliness needs to be addressed. Good location and on a Saturday night you will have no problem walking in and dining without a wait.
food was delicious and so were the drinks. loved every dish i tried
Food was very good. Cocktails were tasty and inventive. The rest was meh to ok. First we sat at a table that should never have been a table, right next to the bar. Every single time anyone walked by they bumped my chair. So about 50 times my glass knocked into my teeth as someone just bumped the chair because there’s no room to get through. Add to that that the temperature was about 100° and you see why the rating is what it is. I would go back at an off peak time or at the very least at any other table beside that one. I asked the hostess if we could move. She said “let me see what I can do.” She never did or followed up. So meh there too.
Lovely eclectic NYC establishment. With a coffee bar out front (Grind) and a lively bar restaurant in the back. The food was fun and delicious. But the best part was the service and staff! Jovial and attentive. They even provided-suggestions of places to have a drink after the show. Would definitely go back to Trademark!
Spectacular service. Excellent food Will definitely return and recommend
Server was nice. Food was good.
This is a great brunch place for small or large groups. The inside looks amazing, and there is also a bar for anyone that would like to enjoy drinks. We ordered the Hangover Hash and the Omelette - but I would highly recommend the Hangover Hash as it was one of their unique menu.
Came here for brunch on a Sunday. We sat at the bar, and the bar staff was super friendly. I loved the cereal milk white russian with Cocoa Puffs!
Very cool place. I hope to return next time we're in NYC.
Great for dates. Fantastic food, decor and vibe
Trademark was great. The smashed beets were excellent and the perfect size for the 4 of us to share. All four of our entrees were outstanding. I believe the rigatoni is made in-house, which is always a great sign!
Everything about our dinner was great!
Trademark was our "second" choice, but opted to dine there due to location and reservations availability. We were super happy with our meal. Great staff, good food, great value, and superior service. It is now our FIRST choice for Mid-Town.
Lacking many dairy free options. They are relatively allergy friendly, but most of the menu is full of dairy. They do post an allergen menu online however.
Very good food! During rush hrs it can be a bit noisy
Super tasty food, menu very scarce but the food was impressive.
We looked for a place near our Marriott Hotel on W 37th street and Trademark was just around the corner (on a rainy night). Interesting and delicious menu with a young vibrant crowd. Looked like a great place to unwind on a Friday night. Recommend it.
Quiet restaurant is the back of a hotel which you would not even know existed. I found this gem while trying to get into one of their sister restaurants.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service.
Nice looking room. Very accommodating staff. Small Sunday menu with delicious notes. Will go back.
This is my second time visiting Trademark. It was exactly what we needed as a quick place to have dinner before going to the Garden for a college basketball game. We arrived around 5 and we were out by 6:15. Plenty of time to stay longer if we wanted but the service was efficient and friendly. The dishes are eclectic. Traditional dishes done with a modern twist and comfort food. The portions are good, the food well prepared flavorful. The wild mushroom with burrata cheese was rich and satisfying. The tuna appetizer was a nice plate to start the meal and was generous enough for two people to share. NYC has so many good choices, but if you want something fairly reasonable, straightforward, satisfying with efficient, friendly table service, Trademark should be on your list.
The staff, the food, the ambience are all great! Whether you sit at the bar or at a high top table, everyone goes out of their way to make it a great evening. The menu is varied and even the fussiest eater will find something that will become their favorite.
Came here for my fiancee's birthday dinner. The dinner was pretty good, though with all that NYC has to offer it doesn't particularly stand out. The cookie skillet dessert was amazing though! Another thing that blew me away was the staff. They were incredibly attentive and super nice throughout! Towards the end of the night, my fiancee was feeling dizzy on her way to the restroom, and the staff helped her find a seat and brought her water and bread super quick. Again, I was blown away by the service we received and hope the Trademark team keeps up the great work!
Trademark was a great experience. The smashed beet appetizer is a must try! The menu was a nice blend of entrees with a sophisticated flare to burgers and fries that delivered fantastic flavor. Beer selection was good and the atmosphere relaxing but still vibrant. Definitely a place I will dine at again!
Lunch time service was inconsistent and generally slow. My business colleague ordered the Lamb Sliders. Without doubt the smallest slides I’ve ever seen (think 3 macaroon-sizes morsels for seventeen bucks). She had just picked up the third slider and the server removed the plate from underneath her (I was still eating). Very strange.
I ordered the TM burger and salad, both were more generous in size and tasty.
It took quite a while to get the bill and process the payment.
Decor is nice, but I’m in no hurry to rush back.
Waited 5+ minutes to be greeted. Overpriced egg sandwich + all you can eat breakfast bar were both huge dissapointments. Add in the understaffed waiting crew + bad coffee + auto gratuity for a table of 2 (what!) and you have yourself second guessing why anyone ever gave this place 3-4 stars!
I came here with my girlfriends on a Wednesday night and we had the best experience. Ernesto and Bob are the most accommodating people I have ever dealt with in any restaurant. They were patient and understanding regarding my allergy and really listened and answered all of my questions. They made our night so much fun and enjoyable. The food was also amazing ! Can't wait to come back here
