This was my third time at TR. First time was great, second so-so and this time not great. Our server seemed attentive, then disappeared for at least 20 minutes. She also forgot part of the order. The eggs on the benedict were overcooked and the 'hollandaise sauce' was more like melted butter and was terrible. The server's excuse was that the kitchen was really busy!! We opted to sit outside because they didn't have a regular table for us inside and it was nice weather. But it soon became too hot in the sun - they have umbrella stands, but there are no umbrellas attached so there is almost no shade.
TR Firegrill offers lovely ambiance and attentive service. The food, depending upon what you order, is good. Salads are excellent, as is the salmon with zucchini noodles. There is plenty of fee parking as there are several other restaurants in the same area. The menu is different, which is nice!
We eat here regularly. Exciting food offerrings, good ambiance, great service.
Ribeye eggrolls were delicious! The Harvest salad was very good. My husband had the smoked flank steak and it was delicious!!!
Food and service was excellent
Good atmosphere, service was great, food was good, seating hostess was unwise to seat my wife and I directly adjacent to a large table with a big party on Valentines Day - the only drawback.
Spent hours looking for a place for Valentine’s Day and SO happy we chose TR Fire Grill! The layout of the place is so cute- laid back but elegant and classy. The servers were all very friendly. The food was amazing! The lollipop chicken wings were very flavorful and juicy. The Salmon + Zoodles was good but the Smoked Flank Steak was AMAZING! Definitely recommend and will definitely return!
Mac and cheese with chicken was bland, could some spicing up. Everything else was good.
The food, ambience, and waitstaff was amazing. Would recommend to all of central Florida if I could but I wouldn’t want it to be so packed I’d never get a seat lol. It has a great vibe. Great place for dates, special occasions, or to eat & drink with friends. Food is well worth the price!
The server was fine, but they didn't pace the kitchen very well.
2 large tables bumped all of the other orders back and it took about 30 minutes to get out lunch...plus, they got my order wrong and had to fix it...which didn't take too long.
My burger was delicious and the others at our table were very happy with the food...once we finally got it.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Noisy in a good way. Great staff. Overall very good.
Great flavors. Steak salad was raw with two attempts for med rare. Manager was amazing and respectful. It was. Business lunch and my guest had great food so that was the important part. :)
Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. Thank you Deja for your attentive service.
Great service. Really liked how everyone at the hostess stand asked how they can help; they were very accommodating when we didn't want a high table and preferred a regular table. Our servers, first Sean and than David, were super nice and friendly. They made sure that those unlimited mimosas kept on coming. First time and this place for brunch, but we will sure come back.
We enjoyed our time at TRFG again. Although a little chilly outside, our server was awesome and friendly (as they all should be). We ordered the brisket tacos off the "Happy Hour" menu and the truffle mushroom flatbread. The first time the tacos came out they were cold on arrival. The second time the tacos came out, the person (not our server) who delivered them stated that the chef put the tomatoes on the side, as they are cold and were likely the cause of the cold brisket. This is total BS. As a chef, I know that the tomatoes would not chill the brisket down that much, if the brisket was hot in the first place. Please do not give an excuse to a guest about why the food came out cold. Just APOLOGISE!!!! By the way, no apology was given. The truffle mushroom flatbread was very good, as always!
We came for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The hostess greeted us, had our reservation ready and asked to take our wet umbrella and hold until we left. Our waitress was super sweet and patient as we had her take several pictures as well as serve our food. The food was amazing - especially loved the chicken flatbread with avocado - and the meatballs and entree were delicious. We love TR Fire Grills!
Wonderful!!! Service was spectacular and I would recommend to everyone.
We set a goal to try at least 6 new Orlando-area restaurants in 2018, and TR Fire Grill was restaurant #2 - we grabbed a quick dinner before a movie and ordered staples (burger, salad with salmon, simple cocktails.) While dinner was good, I suspect that had we tried some of the more interesting items on the menu, we may have enjoyed it even more. The service was terrific and we will come back for lunch soon to give a few other items a try.
Love it! Always a great experience when we go
Meatloaf was quite burnt and was brought to server's attention. Nothing was done about it. Another could have been made, an attentive manager perhaps could have been available, etc. Perhaps I could have been more confrontational and less accepting but I was seeking a calm night not a stressful one. We had been there before and things were better before. Fortunately we have lots of choices in the WP area.
Overall experience was nice.
My favorite go to! Great food, good service... Their lolipop wings are to die for.
Our family has chosen TR Fire Grill several times, for brunch, to celebrate a special occasion.
1st visit...but have wondered about it since they opened. Mainly waited to visit because there was no kids menu online, until we had a date night. After asking server, there are some good kid menu items!
After making a reservation and specifically selecting standard seating...after a short wait we were sat at a high top :( Fortunately we had an amazing server Brianna, that really turned things around. She was friendly and knowledgeable...maintained a perfect pace with no pressure...helped us with drink selections and entrees, accommodating special preparation requests and in the end recommending a dessert with honest feedback on different options. So sweet and easy to talk to...friendly and laid back :)
So we had the pretzel braid (almost like an everything bagel) amazing cheese queso, a apple moonshine drink with fireball liquor (we each had one in the end), Main Dishes Pork Tenderloin had delicious mashed cauliflower and white bean were incredible...and the Beef Short Rib with maple glazed carrots and asiago risotto was perfection too. We struggled with dessert...ended up with grilled lemon shortbread with ice cream and blueberry sauce...incredible almost like a cobbler which was another option, and it was great for sharing...can’t imagine eating it alone!
Can’t wait to go back...maybe for brunch next time! Can’t wait to try the chicken and waffles!
Great fun for our group of 9 - staff was on point the whole night and the food was excellent
Three girls enjoyed a nice lunch. The Harvest salad is always good. Chocolate mayhem is large enough to share. Great server!
Really enjoyed the environment on a Sunday brunch, offering bottomless mimosas. Nice and pretty spacious inside with outdoor seating. Shrimp and grits were mediocre, probably wouldn’t order it again in the future. A bit disappointed that Red velvet pancakes were out which I really wanted to try. Wonuts were pretty good. It got busy so service was alright. Try to make reservations for brunch.
The service was attentive, almost hovering, which was fine since they weren’t that busy. We shared the box of onions as an appetizer, which was great. The onion rings were crispy and hot and there was plenty to share. I had the smoked short rib, which had no indication of ever seeing smoke. The rossitto was under done was lots of crunchy bits. My wife had the pork loin which was bland and underwhelming to say the least. Overall, not good.
Also, the open kitchen concept is not very impressive when all it appears is happening in the kitchen is utilization of the microwave.
Always a good meal with extremely nice servers. Hands on management that actively oversee the dining room.
GREAT FOOD , WINES & SERVICE . Outstanding ambiance and decor .
Consistently good food and service at TR’s
It was New Years Eve and was crowded. Service was slow and steak was raw. This was a management issue. Wasn't staffed well. I will try again though. Lets see.
How do you run our of beer and wine selections by 6pm??? The food was ok, but the beverage pairing...fair
I would have given this an outstanding but my husband wasn't crazy about his prime rib with au ju sauce. He stated that vegetable was better then the prime rib and Yukon mash potato. He did enjoy his BLT salad.
I had the pretzel with cheese dip, delicious. Then I had the Salomon with zucchini pasta that was even more delicious. I totally love this place and this is my first time visiting and I hope to return soon when I am in the area. I don't live near I was attending an event in Orlando I was searching for a place to eat before our event.
Great food. Great atmosphere. A little noisy at times, but it’s ok. Date, friends, special occasion.... appropriate for just about any occasion.
Enjoyable and a very pleasant waitress!
Nice table, attentive server and great food!
I've like this place since we first visited it when it opened, and it actually just keeps getting better! The food is all scratch (they make their own ketchup), locally sourced, and southern inspired. I've had a number of lunches here and we recently stopped by for happy hour, all the food an drinks have been fantastic! (and you can't beat those Happy Hour Specials). My favorites include: the fried green tomatoes, the 1/2 lb burger, the chicken and waffles, the happy hour tacos, and salmon zoodles.
The food was underwhelming. I ordered the flank steak which came to the table pre-sliced which cheapened the steak for me. The IPA sauce that came with it was awful and when I asked for the mushroom sauce from another entree, I was brought more of the IPA because the servers either weren’t listening to my request or don’t know the menu. The mashed potatoes served with the steak were cold and bland. The broccolini tasted smoked which was off putting. There was a smokehouse/bbq theme running through the entire menu so maybe that was the theme of the restaurant without my noticing. At any rate, my plate wasn’t cohesive.
The food and service was excellent. The restaurant was cleaned and inviting.
